"Sage Xu, this badge is different from the previous one. This one has the effect of restoring mana. Sage Xu, you must keep it safe. After you take the exam again, another star will be engraved on this badge."

"If it's lost, replacing it is not only expensive, but also a complicated process." The receptionist solemnly handed the badge to Xu Jiawei, who took it and hung it around her neck.

Finally, it has a special effect. As a new piece of equipment, it's good because it doesn't take up much space.

After leaving the Mage Association, Xu Jiawei returned to the Alchemist Association. She checked the time and saw that she had about three hours left, so she found a place to rest.

With half an hour remaining, the receptionist called Xu Jiawei over.

"Pharmacist Xu, the president has made all the preparations. You may proceed to the examination hall."

"Okay." Xu Jiawei nodded. It was fortunate that she didn't choose the 3 PM time for the magician exam, otherwise she definitely wouldn't have made it in time.

Xu Jiawei went to the exam location, where the president was already waiting.

"Pharmacist Xu, I didn't expect you to take the Level 6 Pharmacist exam in just a few days. You're a true prodigy. Even I find your talent incredible."

Even other outsiders don't have Xu Jiawei's talent, which is truly rare. Perhaps she is the hope for the future.

"Long time no see, President. You still look as energetic as ever," Xu Jiawei greeted.

"Long time no see. I heard you took the Level 6 magician exam. Our alchemist exam is a bit easier than the magician's. Today, you just need to concoct one Infinity Potion, and you'll pass." The guild leader smiled and said when he saw the new badge on Xu Jiawei's chest.

Damn it, he was here first, so how come he's already at level six in the magician assessment? Why did he have to hold a meeting today, letting the Magicians' Association beat him to it?

With everything ready, Xu Jiawei took out her crucible. Since only the president was here and no one else was around, she could use Little Pink. After all, the exam wasn't that strict. If you had a good crucible and a flame that could increase your success rate, then you had an advantage. This unfairness was evident in every aspect of this world, laid bare in the open.

While things weren't fair on Earth either, at least they managed to cover it up a bit. But here, they don't even bother to pretend.

Xu Jiawei threw the medicinal herbs into the crucible and used all her strength to refine a potion. The guild leader nodded in satisfaction.

"Master Xu, this crucible of yours is no ordinary object. Don't let it go to waste." The guild leader changed his form of address; once a pharmacist reaches level six, he is called a master.

Xu Jiawei glanced at the nameless crucible with surprise. Although she knew that the nameless crucible was easy to use, she did not expect the chairman to have such a high opinion of it. Did the crucible have some functions that it had not yet developed?

"President, thank you for your guidance." Xu Jiawei bowed.

"Your badge has already been prepared. I'll give it to you together with the certificate once it's made. Please wait here for a while, Master Xu."

Xu Jiawei was very touched. She thought she would have to wait another week, but she didn't expect the president to have prepared in advance. If she didn't pass the test, wouldn't she be letting down the president's good intentions?

"No need to thank me, thank your teacher. Your teacher told me yesterday that you have already learned how to make infinite potions, and since I had nothing better to do, I had someone make them ahead of time." The guild leader seemed to have seen through Xu Jiawei's thoughts.

The teacher? She didn't mention it to the teacher yesterday. I remember when I talked to the teacher yesterday, Xu Jiawei hadn't put away the Infinite Potion on the table, and the residue in the crucible was exposed. That must have been when the teacher discovered it.

A warm feeling welled up in Xu Jiawei's heart; she hadn't expected that her teacher would notice her even in such an excited state.

"Then, President, I'll be leaving now." Xu Jiawei said, then opened the door and walked out.

As soon as Xu Jiawei opened the door, she was startled because there was a crowd of people outside. Looking at the familiar faces, Xu Jiawei said, "It's you guys. Long time no see. How have you been?" The people who came were Gu Lin and his group.

"Captain, it's been a long time! We heard you were here, so we came to see you." The timid girl with a talent for detecting lies spoke first, her eyes filled with admiration, and she seemed much more cheerful.

"Captain, I didn't expect you to be a Level 6 Pharmacist. I can't compare to you." Gu Lin was still feeling smug after just finishing his Level 3 Pharmacist exam when the reality hit him hard.

As expected, the captain can only be admired, not compared; comparisons can shatter one's moral compass.

"Captain, we're free right now, why don't you come with us for a walk?" the others suggested.

Xu Jiawei thought for a while and nodded. Anyway, she had nothing else to do, so she might as well take a stroll.

The team members chattered excitedly as they took Xu Jiawei all over the entire Pharmacist Association, including some places she had never been before.

This time, following these team members, Xu Jiawei got to see what the Pharmacist Association was all about.

"Hey, stop right there! You're that Xu Jiawei?" A haughty voice rang out. Xu Jiawei frowned and looked over. It wasn't someone she recognized; she wondered where this uninvited guest had come from.

"Hey, I'm talking to you. What's with your attitude? Are you mute?" A cocky young man in red spoke up, with an old man in a similar but more ornate outfit standing in front of him.

"I don't know you," Xu Jiawei said, and then tried to leave.

Gu Lin approached Xu Jiawei and whispered, "Captain, that old man is Master Fei, a level nine pharmacist. He used to belong to the Pharmacist Association and later joined the royal family, becoming a royal pharmacist. That arrogant guy should be his disciple."

Master Fei glanced at Xu Jiawei and scoffed, "So you're the alchemist who got the Flame Spirit? Give me that thing, and I can give you a level seven medicine formula as a reward." Master Fei looked at Xu Jiawei as if she had gotten a great deal.

How dare they ask for a measly prescription to exchange for a fire spirit? They have no shame whatsoever.

Xu Jiawei then realized that this person had come for the fire spirit, and her face immediately turned cold as she said in a firm tone, "Sorry, that's my partner, I can't give it to you."

"Hmph, do you know who I am? How dare you disobey me? I'll make sure you can't stay here any longer." Master Fei was furious that Xu Jiawei dared to refuse him, showing no respect for him whatsoever.

"I don't care who you are, but Little Pink is my partner, and I won't give it to anyone." Xu Jiawei refused again.

"You can give it to me today whether you want to or not. It's not up to you!" Master Fei sneered.

"He's really asking for trouble," his apprentice mocked.

Master Fei clapped his hands lightly, and several guards in black clothes jumped out and surrounded Xu Jiawei and the others.

"This is the Pharmacist Association. Even if you are a level nine pharmacist, you can't act recklessly here." Gu Lin's voice was panicked, but he still tried to remain calm. His hand had already sent a message to his master.
