Survival at Sea: I Became Number One by Growing Mushrooms

Grace nodded appreciatively and glanced at the incomplete prescription.

"Not bad, they can immediately determine what is needed based on the usage, which is better than those pharmacists who only know how to eat and drink."

"However, these kinds of tests are not necessarily made with things that counter the element. They can also be made with things of the same element to lure the other person out of their true nature, or with wild herbs to disrupt their physical condition. In that case, what they want to hide will naturally be exposed."

Xu Jiawei suddenly realized that she could try it out, and Grace also took a picture to study it.

The most famous herb for rampage is called Exploding Spirit Grass. You can try using that. If it has the opposite attribute, go find Si Yunming. As for the opposite attribute, she thinks the Light Destruction Mushroom is pretty good. If that doesn't work, try getting a Light Mushroom. Research the potion first, and then slowly replace it later.

Xu Jiawei used her talent to fuse some light-attribute Destruction Mushrooms into the cauldron. Following the incomplete recipe, she began adding herbs. Suddenly, with a bang, the liquid exploded in the cauldron. Luckily, Xu Jiawei ran fast, or she would have been blown away as well.

When Xu Jiawei carefully returned to the location of the explosion, she painfully picked up the crucible, her heart filled with regret. Her crucible was shattered; it was an unnamed crucible!

However, after Xu Jiawei lifted the crucible, she discovered that it hadn't shattered, but rather the outer layer had been blown off, revealing the white body inside.

So this unassuming, dark color wasn't what the nameless crucible originally looked like.

At this point, only half of the outer skin had exploded. Xu Jiawei threw in another light-attribute Destruction Mushroom, and another loud bang was heard. This time, the outer skin of the nameless crucible completely peeled off, revealing its translucent white body, which faintly emitted light.

[Ding! Congratulations, player, you have obtained a Mythical-grade Crucible, the Medicine God's Crucible, named Nameless. (It's said to be the crucible used by the Medicine God when he brewed potions. You're lucky!)]

Xu Jiawei: ? ? !!

"Such a prestigious background!" Xu Jiawei gently stroked the body of the nameless crucible. "So you really are called Nameless."

Not knowing what function this crucible now had, Xu Jiawei took a deep breath and then used her talent combined with her skill, Light Purification, to re-fuse a new mushroom.

[Ding! Congratulations, player, you have obtained the Light Purification Mushroom. Consuming it will immediately purify the dark aura and various negative effects. It is a mutated mushroom fused with the creator AAA Mushroom Fairy, carrying the creator's strong wishes.]

Xu Jiawei threw the Bright Purifying Mushroom into the crucible, and after continuous boiling and blending with other herbs, she finally brewed a pot of white medicinal liquid.

[Ding! Congratulations, player, you have obtained the Potion of Purification of Light. A small bottle can purify your mind and body, freeing you from worldly desires. Keep up the good work!]

The name is wrong, what the hell is this about losing worldly desires? Xu Jiawei pondered where the problem was. The crucible had been flashing white light, but she didn't know what it meant.

Let's try changing the dosage. This time, Xu Jiawei added a little more.

[Ding! Congratulations, player, you have obtained the Void Potion. A small bottle can completely purify you, allowing you to bid farewell to this world. Keep up the good work!]

Did we add too much? The white light is even more dazzling this time.

Xu Jiawei added only a small piece this time, but before the time was up, the crucible began to glow with a black light that became increasingly obvious, completely different from the previous white light.

[Ding! The player has concocted a pot of wastewater, which is poisonous. Use with caution.]

This time, the crucible turned black and was ruined. So, does the color of the crucible represent the state of the liquid? Xu Jiawei decided to try again.

So this time she only threw in a small piece, and the crucible immediately turned black. Xu Jiawei threw in another small piece, and it seemed that the blackness on the crucible had faded a bit. She kept throwing it in piece by piece, and after throwing in a third of the mushrooms, the crucible turned into a light, translucent white.

[Ding! Congratulations to the player for inventing a new testing potion! This is a brilliant invention!]

So, the test solution wasn't like this before?

Xu Jiawei poured the potion into a glass bottle, preparing to find someone to test it. The first person she thought of was Si Yunming, who had the dark attribute and was perfect to be the guinea pig for Xu Jiawei's potion.

After getting through to Si Yunming, Xu Jiawei turned on the video call and explained her purpose to him.

"Please, Three O'Clock Brother." Xu Jiawei made a gesture of clasping her hands together.

"Okay." Si Yunming drank it without any hesitation. However, Xu Jiawei observed for a long time but found no difference. Si Yunming did not change at all.

Xu Jiawei looked at the medicine in her hand with suspicion. Could it be that the wrong medicine was given to her?

Si Yunming thought for a moment and explained, "Perhaps it's because I also have the attribute of light in my body, so this potion won't work for me."

Xu Jiawei forgot about this; it seems the guinea pig can't be used anymore.

Currently, only her Light Purification Mushroom can be used to make potions, and now she needs to find a substitute.

There aren't many herbs with the Light attribute, only a dozen or so, and they're not considered rare. There's only one that's slightly rarer, which Xu Jiawei obtained from the association.

She prepared to try them one by one, but only three batches were successful. The others either turned out to be waste liquid no matter how much was added, or they exploded directly. Only then did Xu Jiawei realize that when the liquid exploded, the crucible would turn red.

Xu Jiawei looked at the three, no, four different colored potions, wondering what the differences in their effects were. She put on the labels and turned on the video of "Peace and Prosperity for the Nation".

An elderly man with white hair appeared before Xu Jiawei.

"Hello, Chief. I have developed four potions using four herbs. Do you have any demonized humans here? I need to test them out."

The old man immediately became serious. How could he have succeeded in researching something in less than five hours?

"Are you telling the truth?" The old man stood up.

Xu Jiawei nodded.

"Alright, I believe you, Commander Zhang. Bring those demonized warriors you found under your command. Don't alert them." The old man finished speaking with a look of reluctance and heartache.

The number of demonized humans in their organization is increasing; being demonized is tantamount to being dead.

I don't know if there's any room for maneuver.

Xu Jiawei delivered the medicine, and when Commander Zhang came in with four soldiers, he immediately subdued the men, and the four men had no chance of escaping.

He was knocked unconscious and tied to a chair.

"Chief, this way we won't alert the enemy," Commander Zhang said.

The old man nodded and instructed Commander Zhang to administer the four different potions to different people one by one. Xu Jiawei took notes, noting that the Bright Purification Mushroom was the most effective, followed by the potion made from the rare herb, and finally the two common herbs. Xu Jiawei discovered that another, cheaper herb was actually more effective than the more expensive one.

Their bodies turned black, their faces showed pain, and they woke up, wailing.

Considering that everyone's level of demonization is different, Xu Jiawei instructed Commander Zhang to feed him different potions again after the effects of the potion wore off, and then continue testing.

Commander Zhang looked at the suffering soldiers and finally nodded firmly.
