Survival at Sea: I Became Number One by Growing Mushrooms

Xu Jiawei, who was participating in the event, was unaware that the entrance had been blocked.

She found a pass token less than ten minutes after the third level opened.

After picking up the pass token, she can stay in this space for a while until all the tokens are found, at which point the third level will end.

Xu Jiawei can continue to stay here to gather herbs and materials, which is certainly not the good intention of the trial.

Finding the pass token doesn't mean the end, because other players could steal it at any time.

You must always be vigilant about other players around you; the list won't be finalized until the very last minute.

Two hours later, the third level ended.

Xu Jiawei safely collected herbs in the space, and no players dared to provoke her. When they saw her, they would run away without looking back. She hardly encountered anyone along the way.

No one dares to provoke her, let alone the number one on the leaderboard. Are they crazy or have lost their minds?

However, the players with average or weaker strength were quite active, with some of their tokens changing hands several times.

When the final list came out, their guild and the official team had basically all advanced to the fourth stage.

Upon entering the fourth level, the group felt somewhat lost, as darkness enveloped them.

The challenge was to find a way out. It was pitch black all around, and you couldn't see anything. Finding a way out here was incredibly difficult.

Of course, this event has no time limit, and you can withdraw at any time.

Hsu Chia-Wei tried using glowing mushrooms for lighting, but the mushrooms went out as soon as they were made.

"Lighting is not permitted during this trial."

Well, Xu Jiawei didn't care and started walking forward based on her intuition. She walked for an unknown amount of time, and the scenery around her didn't change at all.

Based on her intuition, Xu Jiawei felt that three days had passed, and it seemed that she couldn't go to the other trials. Although she was a little disappointed, she didn't regret it. What she could hold in her hands was what truly belonged to her.

Other players felt the same way; they had come this far, how could they give up so easily?

For the first three days, no one gave up. But after half a month and a month, some players finally couldn't take it anymore and chose to give up. They said they would go crazy if they stayed in the darkness any longer.

One person left, and another followed, until six months later, when the sound of trials echoed through the silent space.

[Congratulations! Ten players have passed the trial and advanced to the final stage.]

Xu Jiawei checked the time and found that only ten minutes had passed. This must be some kind of time-manipulation spell. She had been in the dark space for at least half a year, but only 10 minutes had passed when she came out.

Many players who chose to give up were very frustrated, wondering why they couldn't have persevered a little longer. They thought they had been inside for more than a month, but they were out in less than two minutes.

Some people even stayed for five months before coming out, which was a huge loss for them.

These people looked at the players who had passed the level with awe. They were all tough guys. They were able to persevere through this. This level must have been a test of willpower.

Ye Ye, Wishing for 1.8-meter-long legs, Bumblebee, and Raindrop Bear suffered from severe hallucinations due to insufficient mental strength, and were ultimately forced to leave and were eliminated.

But to Xu Jiawei's surprise, it was Bai Jian, who had the lowest attributes, who persevered to the end and passed the test.

Bai Jian knew that if he wanted something, he had to fight for it himself.

No one will pity you just because you feel sorry for her. She has to stand up on her own to escape her family of origin and become stronger.

So even though she was plagued by hallucinations, even though she was so lonely she was going crazy, she had to keep going. The feeling of loneliness in the dark was unbearable, and she wanted to end her life all the time.

But he persevered each time and passed the test.

Everyone was still shaken; they probably never wanted to stay in the dark again and would have to sleep with the lights on from now on.

There are still five people left: Robert, Bai Jian, Xu Jiawei, and Yan Ling. They have entered the fifth level. Of course, there are also two other players who did not show their abilities but passed the test.

"The fifth stage is to go to the Temple of Inheritance. The first player to arrive will receive the highest reward. All players who arrive at the Temple of Inheritance will be considered to have completed the stage and will receive other rewards."

"Looks like we'll be competing for the final round, and I won't let you off easy," Yan Ling said.

"Of course, whoever arrives first gets it," Xu Jiawei said.

Xu Jiawei then looked at Si Yunming and said excitedly, "Brother San Dian, let's have a race to see who gets there first."

The competition piqued her interest, and Si Yunming's lips curled slightly: "Okay."

The group rubbed their hands together, eagerly awaiting the start of the trial.

As the countdown ended, Xu Jiawei rushed out first. As soon as she crossed the starting line, she immediately realized the problem: the pressure here seemed to be ten times that of normal pressure.

Every step she took was extremely difficult, but with the blessing of the water god, this little bit of pressure was no problem for her; it just made her a little slower.

As expected, it was a trial set up by the water deities, which truly suited their status.

Si Yunming also sensed the difference, so he transformed into a black shadow and rushed towards the finish line.

After running 1 kilometer, the pressure suddenly increased, even Xu Jiawei was so pressured that she staggered and had to adjust her center of gravity to stand still. The pressure here was at least 20 times greater, and even Xu Jiawei and Si Yunming slowed down.

Even the power of words couldn't hold on any longer, so they had to reduce their energy supply. The others were almost pushed to the ground by the pressure.

After two kilometers, Xu Jiawei's speed slowed down, but she could still keep going. The pressure increased to 30 times the normal level, a pressure that even Xu Jiawei found difficult to maintain.

Bai Jian, who had pulled ahead of the others, had started crawling forward on all fours, but unfortunately, she couldn't keep going and was eliminated.

Xu Jiawei maintained her first position steadily. After 10 kilometers, even Xu Jiawei was forced to lie on the ground. It took her ten minutes to barely stand up. Her bones creaked. Every step she took felt like climbing ten mountains.

She was only 100 meters away from the Temple of Inheritance, and every step she took was extremely difficult, taking at least a minute to take one step.

Everyone slowed down.

Two hours later, Xu Jiawei was the first to reach the finish line. The moment she stepped across the finish line, she felt incredibly comfortable. Countless energies surged into her body, strengthening her physical abilities.

Her body had become stronger than before. Although her attributes hadn't changed much, she clearly felt that her explosive power was stronger. Whether it was attack or speed, she used to need reaction time, but now her body could react instantly.

"Congratulations to the trial participant for passing the test and obtaining the Sea God Divine Spark. Since the player already possesses the Water God Divine Spark, the two sparks will be merged."

Finally, Xu Jiawei got what she wanted most: her Great Godhood of Inclusivity gained another attribute.

The first place winner receives a divine title, but it's unknown what the second place winner receives.

Xu Jiawei has already been teleported back to the trial entrance; she'll have to wait for the others to come out before she knows.

When Xu Jiawei came out, she noticed that the atmosphere was not right and Bai Jian had gotten into an argument with the others.

Bai Jian's attributes are very low, so he is no match for that group of people. Fortunately, he has the help of the officials, so although they are at a disadvantage, they can still persevere.

What's going on?
