After hanging up the phone, Lili looked up at the man sitting in the private room, a fawning smile spreading across her lips.

"Ms. Yun, Wenwen said she'll be here soon."

Yun Ziqian was only wearing a shirt, the top button undone. He held a wine glass to his lips with one hand. When he heard Lili's words, he lifted his eyelids to look at her, the lenses of his glasses reflecting a cold light.

He curled the corners of his lips into a cold, mocking smile. "Despicable."

He knew Wen Wen was the kind of person who wanted more than what she had.

"You're responsible for bringing Wen Wen to Fu Yuheng. Don't forget what I told you."

Lili nodded repeatedly, "Leave it to me, I'll definitely get it done for you."

As she spoke, she picked up the wine glass with both hands, stretched it out, looked at Yun Ziqian expectantly, and called out softly, "Little President Yun."

Yun Ziqian's expression was cold and indifferent as he casually clinked glasses with Lili. "I'll take care of the contract for you."

Lili and Wenwen are in the same dance troupe, but she wanted to enter the entertainment industry a long time ago. She filmed several web dramas, but they didn't make much of a splash.

"Thank you, Ms. Yun." Lili said with a smug look on her face.

The taxi stopped in front of the bar. Wen Wen straightened her hair in front of the phone's front camera, pushed the diamond ring onto her ring finger to make sure it was eye-catching enough under the light, and then opened the car door and got out.

When Wenwen arrived at the bar entrance, Lili was already waiting there.

She was wearing a sequined mini-skirt and high heels. As soon as she saw Wen Wen, she greeted her warmly, took her arm, and smiled like a flower.

"You've finally arrived. Fu Yuheng has been waiting for you in a booth inside for quite a while."

Wenwen was pulled inside by her, her high heels clicking crisply on the gleaming bar floor.

The music pounded against her eardrums, and the colorful lights swept across her face, making her meticulously made-up face look radiant.

The glimmer of light and color in her eyes dispelled most of her hesitation.

"Did he say anything?" Wenwen asked Lili, tilting her head.

"He didn't say anything, he just asked how you were doing." Lili leaned close to her ear and whispered, "I think he misses you a lot, he kept looking towards the door."

Wen Wen's heart skipped a beat, and the corners of her mouth unconsciously turned up slightly, but she quickly suppressed it: "Who cares?"

Lili led her to the booth.

Fu Yuheng sat there alone, his long, slender fingers holding a wine glass, looking down at his phone. Wen Wen walked up to him and stopped.

Fu Yuheng raised his head, his gaze passing over the phone screen and landing on her face, a hint of a half-smile on his face.

"Here I am." His voice was neither loud nor soft, yet it was exceptionally clear amidst the noisy music.

"Mr. Fu, you have such refined tastes." Wen Wen sat down opposite him, crossed her legs, casually placed her bag beside her, raised her hand to tidy the stray hairs by her ear, and the diamond ring on her ring finger flashed under the light.

Fu Yuheng glanced at her ring and smiled:

"Yun Mingyi is quick on his feet. I've only been gone a few months, and you're already a member of the Yun family."

Wen Wen sensed the barb in his words, but instead of being annoyed, she laughed: "You're already married, can't I find myself a good partner?"

Fu Yuheng raised an eyebrow. "I remember you said before that you wanted to have your wedding at Lake Como. It seems Yun Mingyi is going to help you make your dream come true."

He really didn't expect that Wen Wen could actually hook up with Yun Mingyi.

Wen Wen looked at Fu Yuheng, recalling the contact information that had been blocked from her, the news that Fu Yuheng had taken another woman abroad to get married, and the image of herself biting her pillow and crying in the dead of night.

Anger, resentment, and some other inexplicable feelings were mixed together.

She looked directly at Fu Yuheng. "Fu Yuheng, what do you take me for?"

"You just throw things away like that, you just block people like that, are you even a man?!"

Fu Yuheng did not respond to that.

He leaned back on the sofa, his gaze sliding from her eyes to her lips, and then to her exposed collarbone.

Fu Yuheng was silent for two seconds, put down his wine glass, and reached out to grab her wrist.

Wenwen tried to break free, but couldn't.

With a gentle tug, she fell into his arms.

"What do you mean, 'what do you mean'? Don't you know?" Fu Yuheng's voice lowered, his thumb pressing on the delicate skin on the inside of her wrist, slowly stroking it. "Wen Wen, you calculate for yourself how much I gave you back then."

"Is it that you don't want it, or that you don't want enough?"

"Isn't what I want enough?" Wen Wen turned her head, her nose almost touching his chin, and laughed angrily. "What I want is you. Have you ever given that to me?"

"That's not who you want." Fu Yuheng turned his head slightly, his lips brushing lightly against her forehead. "What you want is the position of Mrs. Fu."

Wen Wen stiffened, as if someone had exposed her most unbearable secret. She bit her lower lip, her eyes quickly welling up with tears, her voice low and sharp: "Yes, that's the kind of woman I am."

"Then why did you touch me?"

Didn't you say you loved me?

Fu Yuheng looked at her but did not answer.

The dark red light fell on half of her face, and her eyes shone with an astonishing brightness. The expression, a mixture of grievance, ambition, and desire, felt all too familiar to him.

He suddenly chuckled softly, then cupped the back of her head and kissed her.

Wen Wen was stunned for a moment, then struggled violently, pushed Fu Yuheng away, and slapped him across the face.

This slap only made a sound, but didn't hurt.

Fu Yuheng pressed his tongue against the side of his slapped cheek, chuckling nonchalantly. He raised his hand, gripped Wen Wen's neck, and asked in a low, teasing voice, "Can Yun Mingyi satisfy you?"

"Marry him and live like a widow?"

Tears still clung to Wen Wen's eyes as she glared angrily at Fu Yuheng. "What else can I do? Marry you?"

"You're married, how dare you come looking for me?!"

Fu Yuheng scoffed, "So what if you're getting married?"

He leaned close to Wen Wen's ear and whispered, "Wouldn't it be better if you married Yun Mingyi and became my wife?"

"What you had before, I'll give you now, and I can even have more."

Wen Wen felt her heart pounding violently in her chest.

Fu Yuheng grabbed her neck, and the two kissed again, their kiss as intense as lightning striking fire.

Fu Yuheng tightened his grip on her waist.

Wen Wen wrapped her arms around his shoulders, closed her eyes, and let herself sink into the sofa.

A dark red light flowed across the intertwined figures of the two, and the diamond ring occasionally flashed a glimmer in the dim light.

Fu Yuheng picked Wen Wen up and carried her straight upstairs through the crowd.

Meanwhile, upstairs, Yun Ziqian coldly watched them. His men had recorded everything Fu Yuheng and Wen Wen did from the moment they met, and cameras had also been installed in the private rooms they went to next.

He didn't believe that his uncle would marry Wen Wen.

-

It was bright outside, but the curtains were only half drawn, and the grayish-white light from outside seeped in through the gaps, falling on the messy bedding and the crossed arms.

Fu Yuheng woke up, his fingers idly twirling Wen Wen's hair scattered on the pillow.

"Awake?" His voice was still hoarse from just waking up.

Wen Wen didn't speak. She looked at him for a few seconds before slowly sitting up, the thin blanket slipping off her shoulders.

She turned her head and glanced at him, her expression a mixture of hatred and love: "Fu Yuheng, you're a bastard."

"You didn't say that last night." Fu Yuheng propped himself up on his arm, pulled her closer to him, rested his chin on her shoulder, and chuckled softly, "Lie down a little longer."

Wen Wen tried to break free, but he couldn't. Instead, he held her even tighter.

She pursed her lips and suddenly said, "Remove me from the blacklist."

Fu Yuheng freed one hand to reach for his phone, tapped a few times in front of her, added her number and WeChat back, and then tossed the phone onto the bed.

"It's back."

Wen Wen looked up at him, her eyes swirling with emotion, but in the end she only reached out and pushed him in the chest: "Don't bother me anymore. There can't be any mistakes in my relationship with Yun Mingyi."

Fu Yuheng smiled but didn't say anything.

Wen Wen ignored him, lifted the covers and got out of bed, putting on her clothes one by one.

Her dress from last night was wrinkled. She stood in front of the mirror, touched up her makeup, put the diamond ring back on, and tidied her hair. After making sure there were no visible marks, she picked up her bag and walked out.

She opened the door to the private room, her high heels clicking silently on the carpet in the hallway.

She stopped after walking a few steps.

Yun Ziqian stood at the corner of the stairs, his back against the wall, his arms crossed over his chest, and his eyes behind his glasses were frighteningly cold.

He had clearly been waiting for her for a long time.

Wen Wen paused for a moment, then smiled and walked over as if nothing had happened.

"Little Yun, you get up really early." She stopped in front of Yun Ziqian, her tone light and casual.

"You seem quite busy." Yun Ziqian straightened up, looking down at her with a mocking smile. "Preparing to marry my uncle while climbing into someone else's bed. Wen Wen, how could you be so despicable?"

Wen Wen didn't even blink, but instead smiled even more: "You should have said that to your uncle last night."

"It's a pity, he only listens to me now. You can go and tell him, and see if he believes you or me."

"Do you think I wouldn't dare?" Yun Ziqian's voice was extremely low, each word seemingly squeezed out from between his teeth.

Wen Wen took a half step forward, raised her face, and her eyes were filled with blatant provocation: "Go ahead. Go now. Do you think your uncle doesn't know what kind of person I am?"

"But he still wants me. What can you do about it?"

Yun Ziqian stared at her, his jaw clenched tightly.

The next second, he suddenly reached out and grabbed Wen Wen by the neck, slamming her against the stair railing. Wen Wen's back slammed against the cold iron railing with a dull thud, her throat was tightly choked, and her breath stopped instantly.

She didn't struggle or beg for mercy, she just stared at him, her eyes glistening with tears from lack of oxygen, but the corners of her mouth were still stubbornly upturned.

"You're asking for it," Yun Ziqian said through gritted teeth.

Wen Wen forced out a broken laugh, her voice already hoarse, yet she still looked at him defiantly:

"You...if you're so capable...go ahead and strangle me..."

The veins on the back of Yun Ziqian's hand bulged, and his knuckles tightened more and more.

Wen Wen's face gradually flushed red, then turned pale.

Just then, hurried footsteps came from the stairwell, and two staff members rushed up and hurriedly pulled the person away.

"Sir! Sir, let go! You'll kill him if you keep pinching him!"

The two men grabbed Yun Ziqian from both sides and struggled to pull him off Wen Wen.

Wen Wen lost her support and slid down the railing to the ground, clutching her neck and coughing violently, gasping for breath, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably.

But the first thing she did after catching her breath was to raise her eyes, look at Yun Ziqian, and with a smirk, reveal that provocative smile again, mouthing:

"We'll wait and see."

Yun Ziqian was blocked by two staff members, his chest was still heaving violently, and his eyes were filled with murderous rage.

Wen Wen got up from the ground, picked up the bag that had fallen to the ground, and gently patted off the dust.

She wiped away the tears that had welled up in her eyes, didn't look at Yun Ziqian again, and slowly walked downstairs while holding onto the wall.

Yun Ziqian stared at her retreating figure, his face so dark it could drip water.

After the staff released him, he tugged at his collar, turned and walked in another direction. At the same time, he took out his phone from his pocket, opened his email, and uploaded the videos and photos he had received the night before. The recipient was Mrs. Fu's email address.

After confirming the successful delivery, he put his phone back in his pocket. When he looked up, the morning light from the end of the corridor fell directly on his glasses, casting a cold white glow.

As the farce ended, the people hidden behind the wall gradually revealed themselves.

The man's shirt was rolled up to his forearms, his hands in his pockets, and a hint of unruliness in his eyes. He glanced at Yun Ziqian's retreating figure, then at the direction Wen Wen had left in, and chuckled softly.

"What kind of commotion is this?"

The speaker was Zhou Kai.

He never expected to see such a good show so early in the morning.
