The moment the sound faded, a bright yellow talisman flew through the air, wrapped in golden light, and struck Sang Youqiang precisely with a "snap".

The vermilion patterns on the talisman instantly lit up, like a red-hot branding iron embedded in Sang Youqiang's body, sizzling and emitting wisps of white smoke.

"what!"

Sang Youqiang let out a shrill, ear-piercing scream. The black, powerful hand gripping Sang Dong's neck suddenly released its grip, and he was slammed against the charred wall behind him by the immense force transmitted through the talisman.

He twisted his body frantically, but he couldn't break free from the thin talisman. With each movement, the talisman shone even brighter, burning his soul and body.

Sang Dong lost his grip and fell heavily onto the cold ground.

He curled up, clutching his neck and coughing violently, vomiting a mouthful of scarlet blood that splattered onto the blackened brick floor, a horrifying sight.

The cinnabar runes on his body had long since faded, his skin was a deathly pale blue, his eyelashes drooped heavily, and he vaguely looked in the direction from which the sound came.

A small figure walked in through the doorway.

She was a child who looked only four or five years old, wearing a pink and white dress and with two pigtails.

She stepped over the threshold with her short legs, her little brows furrowed, and her round eyes showed no fear, but rather a seriousness beyond her years, like a little adult.

It was Xiao Jin.

"What...what are you?!"

Sang Youqiang was both in pain and shocked, staring intently at the little girl who walked in, his voice trembling.

He was caught off guard by the talisman. He thought it was some enlightened master who had come, but it turned out to be just a little kid.

But the power of that talisman was definitely real. Just who is this little girl?

Xiao Jin ignored him and quickly ran to Sang Dong's side, squatted down, and touched his arm with her little finger.

The skin beneath her fingertips was icy cold, like a block of ice. Her little brows furrowed even more, and her lips pressed into a straight line.

She immediately stood up, turned to look at Sang Youqiang, who was nailed to the wall, and her childish voice was filled with undisguised anger: "You big bad guy!"

She stood with her hands on her hips, puffed out her chest, and looked indignant: "You set a fire that killed someone, and now you want to harm your own son! You've been clinging to him for so many years, blinding him, and draining his life force. You're worse than a bedbug in a sewer!"

"You little brat, what do you know!" Sang Youqiang roared venomously, his eyes bloodshot. "He was unfilial! He's the one who killed me! I'm his father, even if I did something wrong, he can't report me! I want him to pay with his life!"

As he spoke, he suddenly channeled his remaining resentment, causing his body to surge with yin energy as he tried to break free of the talisman's restraints and lunge towards Xiao Jin:

"Since you've delivered yourself to my doorstep, give me something to eat first!!"

The black mist surged over menacingly, carrying a chilling aura.

Xiao Jin wasn't afraid at all; she just let out a soft hum and took a small step back.

She spread her legs, put her hands on her hips, and suddenly opened her small mouth.

The next second, a bizarre scene unfolded.

The chilling, malevolent energy surging and seeping from the cracks in the walls of the abandoned bungalow seemed to be suddenly pulled back by something, and all of it rushed rapidly into Xiao Jin's mouth!

The wind swirled and howled in the room, and all the cold air kept seeping into that small body.

The white frost that had formed at the base of the wall was melting at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Sang Youqiang's sinister smile froze instantly, replaced by eyes filled with terror.

He could clearly feel his strength rapidly draining away.

The yin energy he had accumulated by constantly eating ghosts was completely absorbed by this little girl, like drinking water!

"No, impossible! What kind of monster are you?!"

He screamed in terror, his soul becoming increasingly transparent as his power drained, and his body, pinned to the wall, began to feel weak.

The once arrogant and domineering ghost now only had the fear of survival in its eyes. It desperately tried to crawl into the wall and escape into the ground, but the talisman held it firmly in place, rendering it unable to move, and it could only watch helplessly as its power was drained away.

Xiao Jin puffed out her cheeks and sucked intently.

Only after all the black mist in the entire room had been completely sucked away, leaving not a trace, did she close her mouth, pat her rounded belly, and let out a small burp.

"Ugh, the smell of something bad, it tastes awful." She wrinkled her little nose and said disdainfully, then looked up at Sang Youqiang's face on the wall, which had faded to the point of being almost invisible.

Sang Youqiang was utterly terrified; his voice was trembling.

"Little fairy... I was wrong... I'll never do it again."

"Please let me go, I promise I'll never bother him again! I'm going to reincarnate, I'm going right now..."

"It's too late." Xiao Jin shook her head, looking serious. "You killed three people and harmed my brother for so many years. You've done so many bad things. You can't be reincarnated."

As she spoke, she raised her chubby little hand, her short fingers overlapping to form a hand seal, with a faint golden light emanating from her fingertips.

She quickly muttered a short incantation.

A thin but bright golden light shot out from her fingertip, like a golden needle, and precisely pierced Sang Youqiang's brow.

"No!!"

Sang Youqiang let out a final, desperate scream before his voice abruptly stopped.

His body exploded instantly, turning into wisps of smoke, leaving not a trace, completely annihilated.

The talisman on the wall lost its target, drifted down, landed on the ground, and turned into a pile of ashes.

The room fell completely silent.

The wind stopped, the chill dissipated, and even the air returned to the temperature of a summer night, leaving only Sang Dong's faint breathing.

Xiao Jin quickly turned and ran back to Sang Dong's side, squatted down, and gently placed her little fingers on his wrist. After only a couple of seconds, her face fell.

"My brother got hurt... He ran away in anger, and I can't stop him from getting a full recovery..."

She muttered to herself, without the slightest hesitation, and brought her little fingertip to her lips. Her tiny teeth gently bit down, drawing a drop of bright red blood.

She endured the pain, furrowed her brow, and quickly drew a small talisman on Sang Dong's forehead with her bleeding fingertip.

She was drawing very seriously, and beads of sweat appeared on the tip of her nose. She was also softly reciting a calming mantra.

After the runes were drawn, they emitted a faint warm light that slowly seeped into Sang Dong's skin.

The rapidly dissipating vitality seemed to be caught by something, its rate of loss suddenly slowed down, and gradually stabilized.

A faint trace of color returned to Sang Dong's pale face, and although his breathing was still weak, it had become much more steady.

Xiao Jin breathed a sigh of relief, sucked on her little finger, then turned her head and shouted loudly towards the door:

"Grand-nephew! You can come in now!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than Yun Ziang strode in.

He was stopped outside by Xiao Jin, who said that the yin energy inside was too heavy and that he would cause trouble if he went in, so he could only stay outside and guard the place.

Hearing screams and the sound of wind inside, he was already in a panic. As soon as he heard someone calling him, he rushed in.

Upon entering the room, Yun Ziang was stunned.

Sang Dong lay on the ground, shirtless, with blood at the corner of his mouth and a deathly pale face. A peach wood sword with intricate carvings lay beside him, and many other things were scattered on the ground.

The scene looked exactly like the aftermath of a major battle in a horror movie.

"Young lady, is... is everything resolved?" Yun Zi'ang swallowed hard, looking at Sang Dong on the ground. "How is he? Is he alright?"

"He's not dead yet." Xiao Jin shook her head, pointing her little finger at Sang Dong. "He ran around too much in anger, so I sealed him off, but we need to get him to the hospital quickly, or he'll still kick the bucket."

She instructed, "Be gentle when you hold him."

"Okay, okay, I understand." Yun Ziang nodded quickly, carefully squatted down, and slowly picked the person up in his arms.

"Take the peach wood sword with you too." Xiao Jin bent down, picked up the lightning-struck peach wood sword from the ground, and hugged it to her chest.

Yun Ziang carried Sang Dong out, his steps steady and quick.

Xiao Jin followed beside him with her short legs, glancing up at Sang Dong's face every now and then, and muttering softly, "Hurry up and go to the hospital."
