High Martial Arts: Starting with a Martial Saint Peak Cultivation

the other side.

Inside the residence of the Jianghai City Inspector, the atmosphere was extremely heavy.

"Your Excellency, a terrible disaster has occurred! The number of insectoids surging from the Heavenly Cave in the west of the city far exceeds expectations. The martial arts forces, hastily engaged in battle, have suffered heavy casualties and are being forced into retreat!"

A martial artist reported anxiously.

The middle-aged man in the main seat suddenly stood up.

His aura, that of a mid-stage Martial King, emanated uncontrollably, causing the tables and chairs in the hall to tremble.

His name was Zhao Shanhe, the Jianghai City Inspector appointed by the Dragon Martial Division of the Great Xia Kingdom. He held a high position and was responsible for guarding the city.

"Mobilize all garrison troops! The Second and Third Legions, go all the way! Tell every soldier that their homeland is behind them, and they cannot retreat a single step!"

"yes!"

The reporter had just left.

Another monitor scrambled in.

"Your Excellency the Inspector! The energy level of the Heavenly Cave has been confirmed as medium! Seventh-tier insectoid energy fluctuations have been detected deep within the crack, including at least one Insect King! It is estimated that the Heavenly Cave will stabilize in ten minutes, and that beast will emerge!"

The hall fell into a deathly silence.

A seventh-tier Insect Emperor is comparable to a human Martial Emperor-level powerhouse!

Zhao Shanhe was only at the mid-stage of King Wu.

There isn't even a single peak Martial King in the entire Jianghai City, let alone a Martial Emperor.

"Damn it..." Zhao Shanhe's face was gloomy, his fists clenched so tightly they cracked. This was beyond his control.

They didn't dare delay any longer.

Immediately establish emergency communication to request assistance from higher provincial authorities.

Thirty seconds later.

Even more despairing news came from the other end of the communication.

Due to the suddenness of the incident, the few Martial Emperors who were closest to the incident were dealing with other Heavenly Caves, and it would take at least an hour for them to arrive with support.

Jianghai City has to hold on, even if it's impossible!

"One hour... It would be a miracle if Jianghai City could hold out for even half an hour until the Insect King comes out."

Zhao Shanhe gave a desperate, bitter laugh.

He hung up the call, took a deep breath, and a glint suddenly flashed in his eyes.

correct!

That divine might that just soared into the sky!

That terrifying vortex of spiritual energy was definitely the aura of a Martial Saint, and it seemed to be more than just someone who had just entered the Saint level!

As long as that mysterious big shot takes action, the crisis in Jianghai City will be resolved immediately!

"Wu Feng!" Zhao Shanhe roared.

A trusted grandmaster instantly appeared before him: "My lord!"

"Quick! Gather all city surveillance footage and activate the aura detection system. Search for that Martial Saint senior with all our might! We must do everything in our power to get him to help! I, Zhao Shanhe, would even kneel before him!"

"yes!"

Wu Feng accepted the order and dashed out of the mansion in a blur.

Zhao Shanhe grabbed his sword, donned his armor, took one last look at the photos of his wife and daughter on the wall, and then turned and headed to the front lines.

"Senior... I beg you..."

The battlefield in the western suburbs of the city has become a living hell.

The corpses of insects piled up like mountains, and the blood of warriors stained the earth red.

Thousands of warriors formed a circular battle formation, which teetered on the brink of collapse under the onslaught of the outer swarm of insects.

"Hold on! The city is just behind us!"

"Reinforcements are on their way!"

Amidst a roar, a figure descended from the sky, unleashing the overwhelming pressure of a Martial King!

Zhao Shanhe unleashed a slash.

The ten-foot-long blade of energy swept across like a crescent moon, instantly wiping out all the insectoids within a thirty-meter radius in front of it!

"The Inspector General has arrived!"

"Brothers, kill!"

Morale was boosted.

Zhao Shanhe led more garrison troops to join the core of the battle formation. His blade flashed like a dragon, and dozens of Zerg were killed with each strike.

But the insect infestation was so severe that the cracks continued to widen.

It has reached a diameter of fifteen meters!

He could feel the terrifying aura deep within the crack slowly awakening.

The insect king is about to emerge!

"I must hold on..." Zhao Shanhe gritted his teeth and persevered, praying in his heart that the mysterious martial saint would appear in time.

at the same time.

An old residential area five kilometers away.

Standing on the balcony, Chen Yuan could clearly see the entire battlefield.

Zhao Shanhe, who was fighting a bloody battle, and even the several enormous insect kings deep in the rift, which were stretching their bodies and eagerly waiting to break out.

Chen Yuan's brows furrowed more and more tightly.

It's not that he has any lofty savior complex.

It's simply because it's too noisy.

The roar of the insects, the clash of weapons, and the screams of agony were so loud that he couldn't even concentrate on studying martial arts techniques.

"Noisy."

Chen Yuan uttered two words calmly.

He didn't even raise his hand, his eyes just narrowed slightly.

An invisible holy might, carrying the pure spiritual energy of the "Primordial Holy Scripture," pierced through several kilometers of space like a sharp sword, heading straight for the Heavenly Cave in the west of the city!

Puff puff!

The swarm of insects that were attacking the warriors froze instantly, and the next second they all exploded into a bloody mist, leaving not a trace behind.

The countless dead insects on the ground vanished in the blink of an eye!

This is not over yet.

That terrifying force pierced through the swarm of insects and plunged straight into the dark crack in the sky cave!

On the other side of the celestial cave lies the world of the Zerg.

Six seventh-tier insect kings, each several meters long and with glossy black carapaces, were lying in wait for the space to stabilize.

Sensing the weak aura of the martial artists outside, his heart was filled with rage.

They will break out of the Heavenly Cave in a matter of moments and wreak havoc on the rivers and seas!

Can be sudden.

A terrifying power enveloped its entire body, so powerful that it made its soul tremble. Before it could even struggle, its massive body was instantly crushed into a pile of flesh.

Along with the surrounding insectoids, they were also wiped out, and the Heavenly Cave instantly became deathly silent!

The western front line.

All the martial artists stood frozen in place, staring blankly at the empty battlefield.

What about the insect swarm?

The swarm of insects that was just there... where did it go?

Even the heavenly cave in front of them stopped overflowing.

Zhao Shanhe's pupils suddenly contracted.

He suddenly looked up towards the city, feeling the fleeting, terrifying aura, and trembled all over.

It wasn't fear, but rather overwhelming excitement!

"Such a terrifying attack must have been made by that Martial Saint senior!"

The staff responsible for monitoring the situation in the cave in real time repeatedly replayed the footage from earlier.

But all they saw was the sudden disappearance of the insect swarm and the Heavenly Cave.

There was no trace of any figure or energy fluctuation!

"Quickly! Send the surveillance footage from earlier to the Dragon Martial Division immediately! Also, send the detection data for that terrifying aura; we must find out the identity of this powerful individual as soon as possible!"

The person in charge reacted, his voice trembling with excitement, and quickly spoke to his subordinates.

The Dragon Martial Arts Division is the highest martial arts management organization established in their Huaxia Kingdom since the revival of spiritual energy.

And the one who started all of this was Chen Yuan.

Standing on his own balcony, he calmly withdrew his gaze and rubbed his ears.

"Finally, some peace and quiet."

With a casual strike, he easily pacified a medium-sized celestial cave without even using one-fifth of his own strength.

Peak of Martial Saint.

On this planet, you can do whatever you want!

Just as Chen Yuan was feeling the still surging power within his body and his smile grew even brighter, the system notification suddenly sounded.

[“Host's first attack detected, triggering hidden achievement: First Kill”]

[Bonus Reward: Saint-level movement technique "Close at Hand, Far Away" (Mastered to perfection)]

[Note: With a single step, one can reach any location within sight. At its peak, one can shatter the void and roam the starry sky.]

["Does the host wish to claim it immediately?"]

"There are hidden achievement rewards?!" Chen Yuan's face showed surprise.

The system brought him another surprise!

"Claim it now!"

He then closed his eyes and quickly digested and comprehended the movement technique.

The matter was settled a few minutes later.

Just as Chen Yuan opened his eyes and stopped paying attention to the situation on the western battlefield, happily studying the new movement technique, he suddenly raised an eyebrow.

Someone is coming.

Its aura was at the Grandmaster level, and its speed was extremely fast; it was rushing towards the neighborhood where he was located at full speed.

However, he did not exude any malice.

"Tsk tsk, seems to be looking for me."

Chen Yuan pursed her lips but didn't dodge.

He wanted to see how this official organization of the Great Xia Kingdom planned to treat him, this mysterious Martial Saint.
