Reborn in 2010, the AI in my mind is too powerful.

Crawford's smile faltered, but being a top-tier professional manager, he steadied himself slightly. His expression, serious yet tinged with sadness, said with a hint of distress, "Mr. Chen, could you perhaps understand our situation a little?"

Chen Yiran felt that the person in front of her had acting skills that surpassed 99% of the actors in the world; the expression of emotion was truly top-notch.

Seeing that Chen Yiran did not respond, Crawford continued, "Every investment of the Bahrain sovereign wealth fund has its strategic significance. Our decision-makers must consider the domestic political environment and public opinion when making any decisions."

For Bahrain, Manalun is not just a number in an annual report. It is one of our few windows to the outside world, representing Bahrain's determination to transform its overall national economy.

Although we are also an oil-producing country, we are not in a competitive position in the Gulf region. We need this kind of inspiring propaganda. In the eyes of the royal family, this matter itself is more important than the specific amount of money.

As a professional manager, I can only maximize profits within the scope of my authorization. Furthermore, although I am British, I have worked here since the inception of the Bahrain sovereign wealth fund, and I understand the hardships Bahrain has faced in its national transformation.

I am certainly not qualified to judge your actions, as that is a manifestation of your free will. However, I still hope that we can handle our relationship in a more harmonious way.

I believe that as a McLaren fan, you can appreciate Bahrain's support for McLaren. We are very dedicated to building the team, and despite disagreements with Dennis's supercar business, we haven't engaged in internal strife but have instead done our best to support them.

Chen Yiran felt that this person had some skills. For some reason, he spoke very nicely, but he still had to be disciplined when necessary.

"Say something useful. I can't be convinced by a few words from you. If I don't get the answer I want today and my expectations aren't met, I will start the F1-related project. You said it yourself, this is a manifestation of my free will."

Crawford thought for a moment and said, "If you don't want to do regular business with us, how about sponsorship? I can arrange for a good spot on our F1 car for you to advertise. Believe me, an F1 car body is the best reflection of a company's competitiveness."

If you're truly interested in motorsport, we can hire you as a team consultant. Alternatively, we can help you find suitable teams within the paddock. We can even facilitate an acquisition if you still have a passion for McLaren; in that case, we can collaborate.

Like Red Bull, you could establish the newly acquired team as McLaren's second team, and then you could personally handle all operations. McLaren could provide historical data, and you could provide new technologies. Both teams could operate independently, but maintain technical cooperation.

Chen Yiran didn't want to make a fuss anymore. He felt that no matter how much pressure the person opposite him exerted, he could still find a way to prevent him from losing his temper. The various suggestions he made all seemed pretty good.

We should give these sweet dates away quickly.

"Mr. Crawford, I'm not here to be a GG (Ghost). My global profile is far greater than McLaren's right now; being a GG for an F1 car means nothing to me. Consultant? I don't need anyone to give me a title to get into the paddock. Second team? That's an insult to me; second team sounds like a backup plan."

Crawford opened his mouth to say something, but Chen Yiran waved him off.

"Let me finish. You keep talking about Bahrain's difficulties. I've looked into it too. Bahrain proposed an economic vision a few years ago, right? It aimed to reduce its dependence on oil and develop finance and technology."

Crawford's eyes lit up, and he nodded, saying, "Yes. Well, to be honest, things are alright in finance, but it's really difficult for the Gulf countries to develop technology."

Chen Yiran began listing Bahrain's shortcomings: "Your neighbor, Qatar, has natural gas, one of the world's largest reserves. Dubai in the UAE has successfully transformed itself, with tourism, finance, and aviation all thriving. Not to mention Saudi Arabia, which has the world's second-largest oil reserves."

What about Bahrain? Their oil business is failing, and their financial services industry can't compare to Dubai's anymore. It seems your vision is unlikely to be realized.

Crawford smiled again: "That's right, if someone could lend us a hand now, I believe the Bahrain royal family would be overjoyed."

Chen Yiran nodded: "You also need to work hard yourselves. Actually, Bahrain does have some development foundation. For example, you are a network node in the Gulf region, and you have an advantage in submarine fiber optic cables. In terms of taxation and geographical location, you are not bad."

So you guys are really suited to building large data centers. Google built one in Finland before, and Facebook just announced a few days ago that they're going to build one in Sweden.

Bahrain's objective conditions aren't actually bad. First, submarine fiber optic cables. You're a telecommunications node in the Gulf region, with fiber optic connections to Europe and Asia. Second, electricity prices. Energy is cheap in the Gulf countries, that goes without saying. Third, taxes and location. Between the Middle East and Europe, it's a natural transit hub.

Crawford inquired, "I know all that, but can Bahrain really build data centers? I happen to know a little about this. Google is in Finland, Facebook is in Sweden, both in cold locations. Bahrain doesn't seem to have any advantages in this regard."

"What is high technology? What is research and development? Using new technologies is research and development. What others don't have is high technology. In fact, there are already some companies in the United States doing business in large-scale liquid cooling."

Also, you don't need to build a huge data center right away. What you need to do now is to secure a foothold and create that impression in Silicon Valley. You're doing this, and there are policies strongly promoting it.

Only when the technology matures will you have a sufficient advantage to compete with the countries around you.

I can be the first to try something new and build a small GPU supercomputing center there, but you'll have to provide the funding and some R&D expenses to research large-scale liquid cooling for data centers.

Crawford's smile vanished, and after a moment's thought, he said, "I can't make that decision myself, but I'll report it to the higher authorities immediately."

"Sure, but they'll have to come to the US to talk to me later. I've been away for too long, I need to go back. And afterwards, I might have to go to Canada to watch a game."

"Okay, we'll contact you as soon as possible."

The trip to Europe ended quite successfully, and Chen Yiran took Olson back to the United States the next day.

Even if he's lazy, he'll have to come back and do some work. We can delay things with AMD a little longer.

Oracle needs to go there quickly; he's been staying on someone's yacht for many days.

Chen Yiran had high hopes, but once the trip was over, her schedule became even more packed.

Crawford contacted Chen Yiran, who said that Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa would be visiting Washington on June 7 and then hoped to meet with Chen Yiran in Silicon Valley on the 9th.
