Soldiers' Assault: Veteran Special Agents and New Recruits

Chapter 178 The Chief of the Capital Military Region Personally Meets with the Leader (Please Subscribe)

After the exercise department announced the results, the exercise came to a close.

The sky was beginning to lighten with the first hint of dawn!

The approaching daylight of a new day seems to herald a brand new era, breaking through the darkness and entering the world, bringing a powerful torrent to the development and construction of our army.

Everyone participating in this exercise knew that this fierce torrent was none other than the Ace of Spades team.

A special operations team that creates miracles!

Yuan Lang was very satisfied with the outstanding performance of the Spade A Squad, which almost single-handedly defeated an entire mechanized infantry division, making Captain A very proud.

He personally led a team by helicopter to the Red Army camp to welcome the "great heroes" of this exercise.

At this moment, the Spade A team was in a very "glorious" position, surrounded by nearly 20 officers, including an eighth-level commander.

If you randomly pick one of these people and Jackie Chan bumps into them on the street, he'd have to stand up straight, salute, and call them "Commander."

But now they have become his defeated foe.

Looking at the leaders who had gathered in several circles, their expressions varied, with most of them frowning deeply, and some even having anger in their eyes.

Xu Sanduo and the others felt uneasy and sat there without daring to move.

Jackie Chan was left speechless, both amused and exasperated!

It took them decades of hard work to develop and countless generations of officers and soldiers to work together to become one of the best mechanized infantry divisions in the military region.

But then they ran into the Ace of Spades team, which was a good thing.

In just one night, they not only knocked the word "elite" off someone's head, but also slapped a record for the fastest defeat on someone's head, a "shameful mark" that they probably won't be able to shake off for ten years.

Such a terrible thing...

No matter which unit they were assigned to, the officers would never be in a good mood.

The fact that the officers of the mechanized infantry division didn't call on the guard company to swarm and beat up the Ace of Spades squad already showed a lot of restraint.

Do you expect them to have nice expressions on their faces?

That's impossible!

When Yuan Lang entered and saw this scene, he felt very sorry for the mechanized infantryman. He felt sorry for him because he was really unlucky to run into Jackie Chan's Ace of Spades team.

While I sympathize with him, it doesn't affect his happiness.

Upon entering, he stood ramrod straight and saluted, reporting in an exceptionally loud voice, "Reporting to the commander, I am here on orders from the exercise department to bring back our exercise personnel."

The officers at the Red Army division headquarters weren't fools; they could tell at a glance that Yuan Lang was deliberately trying to show off.

Enjoy the fruits of victory as if you were a winner.

otherwise.

There was no need to send anyone to personally pick up the Blue Army, who had wiped out the Red Army's division headquarters.

All it takes is a phone call from the exercise department, and the Red Army will immediately send the person back.

The Red Army has already lost enough face; they don't want the Ace of Spades squad to stay a second longer, and they can't possibly detain them.

However, Yuan Lang did not make a phone call. Instead, he took a helicopter and flew to the Red Army division camp in a grand manner, announcing that he was going to take people away.

Is this just a show-off?

What else could it be!

However, despite knowing that Yuan Lang was just showing off, the officers of the mechanized infantry division could do nothing but glare at him angrily.

They can show off their skills based on their abilities, what can others do?

"Very good, you're from Team A, right? I'll remember this today, you were once a supporter of the army."

The Red Army division commander's face turned ashen with anger. After uttering some harsh words to save face, he impatiently waved his hand and said, "Your men are all here. Take them away now. Don't bother seeing me out."

"Yes, sir."

Yuan Lang's smile widened even further.

He saluted and waved to Jackie Chan and the others, saying, "What are you still doing there? Hurry up and come over! Are you waiting for someone to chase you away with a broom?"

"Haha, as expected of Captain Yuan, you really know how to speak sarcastically."

Jackie Chan chuckled inwardly, but didn't laugh out loud, lest he really anger the Red Army strategist and get surrounded and beaten by thousands of people.

He quickly stood up and called out, "Guys, we've finished this little job, it's time for us to go home, let's go!"

Having been watched by a group of leaders for some time, Xu Sanduo, Wu Liuyi, and the other 15 men, who had felt numb all over several times, quickly grabbed their weapons and headed out the door.

When the officers of the Red Army division heard Jackie Chan say that beheading their entire division was just a small matter, they were taken aback.

His face immediately turned even uglier than before.

Division Commander Zeng Yongjun was so angry that he almost vomited blood.

If looks could kill.

Jackie Chan should at least be killed and turned into mincemeat!

"Hey, big guy, well done! You really made our Captain A look good. When we get back to base, I'll have a few drinks with you."

The Ace of Spades team filed out of the command tent, and Yuan Lang chased after them with a smile, patting Jackie Chan on the shoulder, his face full of excitement and joy.

Seeing his subordinates shine in the exercises.

Yuan Lang felt even happier than if he had won the award himself!

"How about we drink until we drop?" Jackie Chan laughed.

Jackie Chan was also very happy to lead his team to break the national record, proving that the Spade Ace Squad, which he had personally created, did indeed possess cutting-edge combat capabilities that led the entire army, and to become famous overnight.

"No, no, no, that won't do."

Upon hearing that they were going to drink until they were completely drunk, Yuan Lang waved his hands repeatedly, laughing and cursing, "You drink like an animal, who the hell can outdrink you?"

"How about you introduce your sister to me? It's not easy to find a man as outstanding as me," Jackie Chan joked.

"Go to hell."

Yuan Lang laughed and tried to kick Jackie Chan's butt, but Jackie Chan easily dodged it. Thinking of a mischievous idea, he retaliated, "How about I introduce you to some beautiful women from the provincial military districts?"

"No, I just want to recognize you as my brother-in-law, haha."

Jackie Chan could tell at a glance that he had no good intentions, so he wouldn't fall for his trap and stuck to the old topic.

"Don't mistake my kindness for treachery. The girls in the provincial military district's weightlifting team are all top-notch women, broad-shouldered and strong, capable of lifting hundreds of kilograms. They are a perfect match for you."

Yuan Lang gave a serious introduction, but the slyness in the corner of his eye betrayed him.

"Well……"

Jackie Chan was speechless and rolled his eyes at him.

Although he promised himself that he was also a big guy, he thought about the female weightlifters on the weightlifting team who could lift him up and throw him.

Jackie Chan got goosebumps all over!

I doubt many men would like their wives to lift them up and throw them out.

……

In the atmosphere of the record-breaking exercise, the entire Ace of Spades team was very happy, and the superior-subordinate "identity" between Jackie Chan and Yuan Lang completely disappeared.

Like good buddies, we joke and bicker as we move forward.

Wu Zhe, Tuo Yonggang, and the others didn't rest either, recalling everything that happened last night, and the ashen faces of the Red Army command after the exercise ended.

They couldn't help but feel smug and excited, whispering to each other as they walked.

The decapitation operation was successful.

The members of Team A of Spades were truly surprised.

Every member of the Ace of Spades team still feels like they're in a dream, unable to help but feel lost and experiencing a strong sense of unreality.

I was afraid that when I woke up, I would find it was all a dream.

Overwhelmed by this unimaginable surprise, Team A of Spades boarded the helicopter that came to pick them up, filled with excitement.

I thought we would return to the combined arms camp or go to the Zhurihe base.

As it turned out, Yuan Lang secretly hid a big surprise: a helicopter carrying the entire Black Spade A team was dispatched to the Capital Military Region in one flight.

Minister Yang of the Operations Department personally greeted them at the airport and led the Ace of Spades Squad to the military region.

They received a warm reception from the military region leaders, who were personally led by Chief Gao, and listened to their evaluation of the exercise.

Looking at the officers who appeared before me, all of them carried the exclusive color of Level 8 on their shoulders.

They all start at level eight, with the highest being level ten.

Not to mention Xu Sanduo, Wu Liuyi, and the others, the highest military rank they had ever seen before joining the A Brigade was only the regimental commander level, which was only 23 cents.

During last night's decapitation operation, they were just "playing as substitutes" outside and had never experienced what it was like to be a legendary level 8 master.

Now it has suddenly been upgraded.

Moreover, it jumped several levels at once.

Looking at the dazzling Level 8 exclusive color in front of them, they finally understood what "a constellation of stars" meant, and what it meant to be so nervous that their palms and the backs of their hands were covered in sweat.

Even when the leader came over to shake hands, Xu Sanduo and the others were so nervous that their hands trembled uncontrollably.

Even Jackie Chan and Yuan Lang, who are well-traveled and experienced, couldn't help but feel a little nervous when they saw this group of big bosses from the military region.

He looked very flustered.

Fortunately, the two had experienced the grand scenes of the battlefield, which forged a strong enough heart, and they managed to hold on to their last bit of strength.

Without the leader's warm greetings and conversation, he was too nervous to speak properly.

Why did Chief Gao bring a large group of people in their exclusive level 8 colors to meet Jackie Chan and his entourage? The answer lies in the conversation between the two sides during their meeting.

Commander Gao highly praised the Spade A team for their outstanding performance in this military exercise.

He repeatedly mentioned that the performance of the Spade A team was precisely the capability of modern special forces, providing valuable experience for the military region to explore modern and information-based reforms.

This was to recognize the exemplary performance of Team A of Spades, who broke records multiple times during the exercise last night.

Chief Gao immediately presented the award to Team A of Spades.

All the veteran team members who participated in the exercise, including Yuan Lang, who led the team, were awarded the honorary title of "Model Individual in Combat Readiness" by the entire army.

And a collective third-class merit award was awarded!

Although a collective third-class merit is not as prestigious as an individual third-class merit and cannot be included in the criteria for promotion, it is still a very high honor.

Moreover, the collective third-class merit is just a bonus; the real protagonist is the individual model soldier in the entire army's combat readiness.

The Third-Class Merit Citation can be issued by the regimental headquarters, while the title of "Model of Combat Readiness in the Whole Army" can only be issued by the military region, and it is a special honorary title.

An honorary title is a very high honor.

Any one of these achievements would far surpass a third-class merit, let alone an honorary title at the army-wide level, which is an even more remarkable honor.

To put it bluntly.

With this honorary title in hand, as long as Xu Sanduo's subsequent performance isn't too bad, after training in the Old A for a year or two, his promotion to officer is a sure thing.
