Soldiers' Assault: Veteran Special Agents and New Recruits

Chapter 245 Directly transferred from the General Staff to form Lone Wolf Team B! (Please subscribe)

Jackie Chan and the other two were scared off by the blind date. Counting the few days they spent back at their old unit, they still had more than a week left before their month-long family visit leave.

Considering that there was still such a long vacation ahead of us, it wouldn't be right to go back to Team A and just sit around doing nothing.

Moreover, they have been guarding the capital for so many years. Apart from the three years that Jackie Chan spent here when he was studying, Xu Sanduo and Cheng Cai have never been to the capital.

So I decided to spend a few days in the capital first.

With Jackie Chan acting as their free tour guide, they began their tour of the capital city as soon as they got off the train.

First, go to Tiananmen Square in the capital to experience its solemnity and grandeur; then go to the Palace Museum to appreciate its magnificence and majesty; and finally, go to the Great Wall to feel its vicissitudes and grandeur.

Summer Palace, Old Summer Palace Ruins, Beihai Park, Temple of Heaven Park, Prince Gong's Mansion, Capital Museum...

Anyway, they couldn't spend the money in the army, and their families didn't need the salary subsidy, so Jackie Chan and his two friends just stayed there and had a lot of fun.

Money doesn't matter, the main thing is to have fun and enjoy yourself.

Given the special nature of the A-team unit, who knows when the next leave will be after returning to the unit? So, we should seize the opportunity to have some fun.

After this crazy trip, Jackie Chan and his team gained some insights.

Frequent, intensive travel is truly physically demanding.

No wonder Jackie Chan's past life, which involved traveling back in time, gave rise to the bizarre special forces-style tourism; it turns out it wasn't just a random name.

Jackie Chan and his team spent a week visiting more than a dozen major tourist attractions.

Two to three per day.

After a week of intensive travel, Cheng Cai and Xu Sanduo were exhausted, and they would just lie down and fall asleep as soon as they got back to the hotel every day.

Even Jackie Chan, who is in the best physical condition, didn't want to move after returning to the hotel.

Fortunately, this kind of unrestrained and crazy travel is probably only done once or twice in a lifetime. Once you've had your fun and are satisfied, it's worth the fatigue.

The twenty-eighth day of my vacation.

Jackie Chan, Cheng Cai, and Xu Sanduo returned to Team A. The remaining two days were used to adjust their condition so that they could quickly get back into shape after their vacation.

I don't know if it was just a coincidence or if they were deliberately waiting for Jackie Chan to come back.

During these two days of rest and adjustment, orders from the military region's superiors came down to Brigade A one after another, like dumplings being dropped into a pot.

The first event is the selection of special forces soldiers for the second A-team, which will officially take place in half a month.

Yuan Lang remains the chief instructor for the selection!

The other instructors include Qi Huan, Wu Zhe, Tuo Yonggang, and a total of 8 people, who are specifically responsible for assisting Yuan Lang in completing this selection process.

It was quite surprising that Jackie Chan wasn't among the instructors selected.

Even Yuan Lang felt something was very wrong and specifically asked the brigade leader, Tie Lu. After Tie Lu inquired with his superiors, he received a vague answer.

Jackie Chan has other arrangements, which are being handled by the General Staff.

Upon hearing that Jackie Chan was now under the command of the General Staff and being reassigned, Captain Railway immediately fell silent, knowing full well that he couldn't get any results from the inquiry.

I want to know the result.

The only way is to wait.

Subsequently, the military region issued a new document, the main content of which was that the military region would launch a large-scale joint military exercise, in which many units of the entire army would participate.

Team A not only had to send people to join the Blue Team, but also had to carry out a secret operation.

The operation's code name is "silence"!

It means quiet or silent.

The requirement is for Team A to form a four-person squad to complete a special, strategically challenging mission during this large-scale joint military exercise.

Yuan Lang immediately selected four teams and sent the list to the military region for review.

As a result, one person was shot down.

Yuan Lang could honestly accept that anyone else was eliminated, but he couldn't accept that this person was eliminated.

This person is Jackie Chan!

Filled with incomprehensible and intense dissatisfaction, Yuan Lang raised objections to the matter again.

Then the military region gave the same result: Jackie Chan's information is now under the jurisdiction of the General Staff, and it was clearly indicated that there would be other arrangements later.

Yuan Lang immediately shut up!

Yuan Lang sensed something unusual and knew that something big was about to happen to Jackie Chan.

Moreover, this important matter did not drag on for long; only a little over a week later, an official document was issued to Team A, and the truth was revealed.

The matter originated six months ago.

Not long after the epic showdown between Lone Wolf A and Spade A, the leaders of the General Staff, based on information from the confrontation and the needs of modern special operations reform, decided to...

Lei Keming, the former captain of the Lone Wolf Commando Team, was transferred to the Northwest Military Region to form the Black Tiger Special Operations Brigade.

He Zhijun, who was promoted from the position of battalion commander, was reassigned to the Wolf Fang Special Operations Battalion and continued to serve as the battalion commander.

The Lone Wolf Commando Team underwent the most significant changes, being promoted to a whole new level.

It was reorganized into a strategic unit directly under the General Staff, while the Chengdu Military Region changed from direct management to temporary management, and continued to train in the Wolf Fang Special Operations Brigade.

This means that the Lone Wolf Commando squad has been elevated to the same level as the A-team.

This is also the standard way things are done in China!

No matter what you do, you have to have a backup plan, and strategic forces are no exception.

Having two strategic units at your disposal greatly increases your margin for error in battle; even if one fails, the other can take its place.

Lone Wolf and Team A.

That is to say, they became the left and right arms!

Team A is a regimental-level unit with over one hundred members.

Even the strongest Spade Axe Commando Team has a staff of sixteen, which can be divided into two action groups, allowing for more flexible formation during combat.

The Lone Wolf Commando Team only has six members, which is far too few.

Given the small number of personnel in the Lone Wolf Commando Unit, the General Staff specifically approved the formation of Lone Wolf B Team in order to improve its overall combat capability.

Because the Lone Wolf Commando Team became directly under the General Staff Department, the selection criteria for its members have also undergone significant changes.

The selection process has expanded from the former Kunming Military Region Army to the entire Chengdu Military Region, including the Chengdu Military Region Air Force.

And because Lone Wolf had become like a son to the General Staff, the General Staff paid special attention to his growth.

To ensure that this expansion of the Lone Wolf Commando Team not only meets the team's operational needs, but also allows for the cooperation of two squads: the main attack squad and the cover squad.

It can also raise the combat power to a higher level on the existing basis.

Reach the level of the Ace of Spades Commando!

After all, they are all his own sons, so he will definitely make them his right-hand men. It would be unacceptable for one to be strong and the other weak.

To quickly improve the Lone Wolf's combat effectiveness and reach the level of the Ace of Spades Commando Team.

Looking at the entire army.

Only one person can do it.

As a result, an official document from the General Staff was issued, ordering Jackie Chan to immediately go to the Lone Wolf Commando Team to serve as a special training instructor for the expanded team.

In coordination with the Wolf Fang Special Operations Brigade, we expanded and selected members to complete the selection and training of Lone Wolf B Team members.

The exact duration of the transfer is uncertain.

The main focus is on the complete formation of Lone Wolf Team B, which possesses mature independent combat capabilities.

Jackie Chan is now the apple of A-Team's eye. If Jackie Chan were suddenly transferred to the Wolf Fang Special Forces to lead troops, Captain Tie Lu would definitely be extremely unwilling.

Even if it's just a temporary transfer, the personnel file will still be under Team A.

Even if it's just a decision made by the military region, the battalion commander, Tie Lu, still has to go to the Capital Military Region to have a good discussion with the leaders there.

Unfortunately, the order was issued directly by the General Staff, and Staff Officer Li, sent by the General Staff, came directly to the door with the documents.

Even though Battalion Commander Tie Lu had a thousand reasons to be unwilling, he could only grit his teeth and swallow his anger in the face of the highest order from the General Staff of the Central Military Commission.

Moreover, due to the urgency of the situation, there was absolutely no time for the railway to have a buffer period.

Staff Officer Li, who brought the documents, didn't give Jackie Chan any time to prepare. He handed the documents to the railway, called Jackie Chan over, and immediately said that he was going to take him away and demanded that Jackie Chan go with him right away.

Jackie Chan was still in a daze, not having heard the whole story, only knowing that he had been temporarily transferred to the Wolf Fang unit.

What exactly would you do at Langya?

Because Jackie Chan hadn't read the official document, he didn't know he was going to lead the Lone Wolf B team.

However, since it was an order from his superiors, he had to obey whatever he was told. Jackie Chan didn't ask any questions and turned around to pack his luggage.

But Staff Officer Li stopped him!

The uniforms of Team A are completely different from those of Wolf Fang. Jackie Chan can't be unconventional this time, so he doesn't need to bring any equipment.

Once he arrives at the Wolf Fang Special Operations Brigade, he will help Jackie Chan prepare from head to toe.

Okay.

They even assigned someone to oversee the entire process, showing that the General Staff gave Jackie Chan a lot of face.

Given the high regard the General Staff has for him, what else can Jackie Chan say? Of course, nothing. He simply obeys orders.

The railway staff had no other choice but to pat Jackie Chan on the shoulder and say earnestly and reluctantly, "Jackie Chan, finish your mission soon and come back soon. Team A will always be your home."

The railway was genuinely afraid that Jackie Chan would run away, so they specifically reminded him that Team A was his home.

"Thank you for your concern, Captain!"

At this point, Jackie Chan couldn't say anything more and could only give a vague answer.

He then followed Staff Officer Li downstairs, got directly into the SUV that Staff Officer Li had driven, and left Team A without even showing his face.

There was a driver in the car, and it was only after getting in that Staff Officer Li formally told Jackie Chan.

Why was he suddenly sent to the Wolf Fang Special Forces Brigade?
