Soldiers' Assault: Veteran Special Agents and New Recruits

Chapter 323 Operation Sharp Sword (Please Subscribe)

Not long after Jackie Chan and Wu Liuyi drove off, a commotion came from the back of the car.

On the dark, dusty forest road, in the back of an empty van, a rustling, crawling sound suddenly came from.

If someone who didn't know the situation heard this, they would definitely be scared out of their wits.

However, Jackie Chan and Wu Liuyi were not frightened. Instead, they both breathed a sigh of relief, and the tension on their faces relaxed at this moment.

Since almost half an hour has passed and Miao Lian can still move on his own, it proves that he is not injured.

In other words...

He has been playing dead ever since Zhuang Yan pulled the trigger.

Otherwise, half an hour would have passed, and even if the bullet hadn't hit the heart, it would have bled to death anywhere else.

Then, as if from the dead, Miao Lian's head appeared between the two seats.

Apart from being a little weak, I'm perfectly fine.

"Section Chief Miao, we meet again. How are you? Are you injured?"

Although Jackie Chan already had a pretty good idea of what was going on, he still asked with concern.

"Thank you, I feel great now."

Miao Lian reached into his clothes and pulled out the breastplate that Jackie Chan had installed for him. Looking at the dents on it, he said with lingering fear, "This little thing was actually quite useful; it saved my old life."

"I only completed half of it; the other half was up to you," Jackie Chan said modestly.

"No, no, no, you saved my life."

Miao Lian was very grateful to Jackie Chan, but then said with great concern, "Xiao Zhuang has now passed the test. I hope he will have a smooth journey ahead."

"It definitely will. This cancer in Yuanshan Town will be removed soon," Jackie Chan said.

As Jackie Chan and Miao Lian chatted, the van returned to the county town and, under the secret protection of the police, was transported to the city by helicopter overnight.

Meanwhile, they started contacting TV stations to release information and spread false news.

the next day.

Zhuang Yan refused to sleep in the same bed with Ma Qitong, and instead slept on the sofa for the night, using the excuse that the best night would be reserved for their wedding night.

I got up early in the morning, ran to the living room, turned on the TV, and watched the morning news.

Ma Qitong had the nanny cook breakfast and came over to call Zhuang Yan to eat breakfast when the news that Zhuang Yan was interested in was finally reported on TV.

"According to the latest news obtained by this station, J authorities arrested two fugitives who had fled from SC province and unexpectedly discovered the body of a drug enforcement officer in the car."

According to local authorities, the body was identified as a police officer surnamed Miao, who went missing a month ago near Yuanshan Town and was murdered last night.

Despite the two fugitives' vehement denials—that they stole the car on the road and were unaware there were bodies inside—they claimed they had stolen the vehicle on the road.

However, J still suspects that it was the work of two fugitives. One of them is extremely vicious and, standing at two meters tall, has killed many people along the way. He is very likely the murderer.

... "

The news on TV continued to play, but Zhuang Yan's thoughts had already wandered off.

My anxiety, which had lasted all night, subsided after seeing these news reports, even though I heard that the person had been murdered.

Zhuang Yan knew that Miao Lian's heart was on the right side, unlike a normal heart which is on the left.

This was something Miao Lian had told him personally.

Furthermore, before Miao Lian told him to fire, he deliberately pointed to the left side of his heart, making a clear hint that only he could understand.

News reports now specifically mention that a two-meter-tall fugitive was found with Miao Lian's body. The fugitive was extremely vicious but denied killing Miao Lian.

Zhuang Yan could hear a second layer of meaning in these seemingly ordinary news reports.

Because this was specifically said to Zhuang Yan!

The entire news report essentially tells Zhuang Yan that Miao Lian has been successfully taken in by Jackie Chan, and the fact that he denies killing someone implies that Miao Lian is not dead.

Two-meter-tall giants are rare, and Zhuang Yan immediately thought of Jackie Chan.

Having confirmed that Miao Lian was not dead, Zhuang Yan's biggest concern was resolved. Now he only needed to focus on collecting evidence, and his mindset naturally stabilized.

Ma Shichang and Ma Yunfei were completely unaware of the various shady dealings hidden within this news report.

Because Zhuang Yan was decisive and efficient, he killed a police officer, thus fulfilling his pledge of loyalty and gaining the approval of both men, officially becoming a core member of the Ma family.

In accordance with the provincial public security department's contingency plan, Zhuang Yan continued his investigation.

As a travel photography enthusiast, he accompanied Ma Qitong around every day with his camera, actually taking pictures of various information about Yuanshan Town.

Intelligence was continuously transmitted to the J side, laying a solid foundation for the next step of the operation.

Jackie Chan and the Ace of Spades commando team split into several groups, taking turns to secretly protect Zhuang Yan, ensuring that they could cover Zhuang Yan's evacuation at any time in case of any unexpected events.

In the blink of an eye.

A month has passed.

With the help of Zhuang Yan, a super undercover agent, all sorts of things the Ma family did to sell books were exposed and became evidence in the hands of the J side.

After this period of effort, the collected evidence could be piled up to a meter high, enough to deter Ma Shichang's entire family.

So the Provincial Public Security Department, which had been holding back for a long time, joined forces with the Border Police to launch "Operation China's Sharp Sword," officially organizing troops to carry out a crackdown.

Destination—Yuanshan Town!

A squadron of over a hundred people from Bianfang WJ, traveling in several trucks, along with a medical vehicle and a command vehicle, headed straight for Yuanshan Town.

Jackie Chan, along with the Ace of Spades commando team, launched a surprise attack from the air via helicopter.

Yuanshan Town is the stronghold of the Ma family group, and the entire town is inhabited by their people. If the army wants to eradicate this cancer, it has to clean up the entire town.

The book peddlers were identified from among the common people and brought to justice.

The battle, which began outside the town and continued all the way to the Ma family's mansion, required identifying the peddlers from among the crowd one by one, making it destined to be a very time-consuming affair.

The task force was deployed to prevent the core members of the Ma family from taking the opportunity to escape during this period.

They took a direct approach, arriving in Yuanshan Town and rappelling down from near the Ma family villa. They then stormed the town and captured the Ma family group's leader in one fell swoop.

The Ma family had been operating in Yuanshan Town for over ten years, employing at least three hundred to five hundred thugs.

Among them, the number of book vendors who regularly stayed in the villa was definitely no less than one hundred.

Given that Ma Yunfei had previously visited the United States and received professional combat training from PMC, it is highly likely that he has formed his own personal guard.

With their fully American-equipped and American-trained personnel, their combat effectiveness was guaranteed to be formidable.

To take them down...

With just a dozen or so members of the Ace of Spades Commando Team, this was not an easy task that could be easily accomplished; a slight misstep could lead to disaster.

Jackie Chan's task is also very challenging!
