All-out Tower Defense: My Card-Drawing Talent is a Bit Strange

"Yes, Your Excellency, Lola obeys your command!" The succubus girl showed no dissatisfaction and naturally followed Yang Fei's orders, as if this was not the first time. After bowing respectfully to Yang Fei, she returned to the recruitment hut and began to gather the newly emerged lesser demons.

Seeing that Lola completely obeyed his orders, Yang Fei felt a sense of unreality. Moreover, after careful consideration, he realized that although Mona and Lola shared the same surname and title, and even looked similar, they seemed to have very different styles of doing things and personalities.

In his actions, although Lola would still tempt him from time to time, Yang Fei could tell that it was not intentional on her part. It was probably just due to her own charm and racial characteristics, not from her true heart. On the other hand, Mona tempted him purely from her own heart, without any other kind of emotion.

In terms of personality, the two succubus servants are even more different. Lola is completely obedient to him, never refutes what he says, and has no dissatisfaction. She is the kind of person who is very obedient.

But Mona was different; whatever he said, she always looked disdainful, even mocking. Although she would still obey his orders, the different emotions these two displayed made it a completely different experience for him.

"Huh? I'm actually seriously thinking about these issues? These aren't important questions, are they?" Yang Fei suddenly snapped out of his reverie as he watched Lola reprimand the newly appeared lesser demons one by one. Thinking about the succubus's behavior and personality now was pointless; the key question was, what to do tonight?

Even if succubi are obedient, it's only a facade; their true nature will never change.

Yang Fei never doubted this, because he could sense that as long as he gave the order, Lola would still unleash her true nature and fight Yang Fei, and the final result would not be much different from Mona's.

Moreover, judging from the surnames and titles of the two succubus girls, they are clearly sisters. Good sisters will naturally share good things!

Thinking of this, Yang Fei felt a tightness in his waist and stopped caring about the aftermath of the hut. He only hoped that a third succubus would not appear, otherwise his Dao heart would be shrouded in darkness in the future!

Ignoring Sun Xiaoyu, who was staring intently at the hut, Yang Fei had originally intended to wait for his answer, but now he was in no mood for it. He decided to let Sun Xiaoyu think about it himself and headed straight for the city wall.

Let's deal with everything after today's monster siege is over; we'll leave the difficult tasks to ourselves tonight.

With a heavy heart, Yang Fei arrived at the foot of the city wall. He took a deep breath, temporarily putting aside the various unpleasant thoughts in his mind, readjusted his state, took out 10 white horizontal cannon defense tower cards from his backpack, and used them one by one according to the specific positions.

There's no way around it; my Sky Island is already a bit too big. It's fine for the other defensive tower cards that don't go up on the War Slab; I can just choose a decent spot in the Core Cabin using a god's-eye view. Anyway, I'll need to adjust it again once the War Slab is raised.

But these things are a bit different. Yang Fei never intended to put these ten flat-fire turrets on the War Slab. They could use their range advantage to fire from the Sky Island, so they had to be assigned fixed positions to avoid him having to make hasty adjustments during the war.

The reason for choosing this location is that it's not easy to estimate the exact location when building from a God's-eye view in the core cabin. While the God's-eye view can zoom in, it's still necessary to actually observe the area to select a specific spot on such a large island.

As the 10 cards disappeared at the location Yang Fei had chosen beforehand, ten cannon barrels, each 300 millimeters in diameter and 5 meters long, rose straight up from the ground.

The cannons were slowly lowered towards the direction of the war corridor. Yang Fei's lips twitched. Although he had expected it, wasn't this a bit cruel? As the saying goes, "lowering anti-aircraft guns to the ground is a military court-martial offense."

Even though this world doesn't have military courts, and the monsters that attack in the early stages are generally not intelligent species, Yang Fei still has a rather unethical feeling.

After all the gun barrels were laid flat, the gun carriage began to appear around the gun barrels. Gun positions, each large enough for one person to sit in, also appeared on the left side of the gun barrel. When the three were combined, the entire horizontal firing turret was fully formed.

"Cool!" That was Yang Fei's first impression of these ten horizontal-firing turrets. His second impression was "a sense of security." These things were clearly different in style from other defensive towers, which were obviously designed in a medieval or fantasy world.

These flat-fire turrets are clearly from modern times, and even their paint job is pure white, giving them a high-tech feel.

Moreover, compared to defensive towers like arrow towers and flamethrower towers, cannon towers give people a natural sense of security. Ten cannons in one cannon always give people the feeling that anything can be blasted into dust.

If they can't be destroyed by bombardment, it must be because the turrets' firepower is insufficient and there aren't enough of them. When he has enough money in the future and the trading market is opened, Yang Fei will definitely buy more of these defensive turrets, tens of thousands of them, to form a firepower network and bombard the monster horde. Just thinking about it is exciting.

Touching the turrets, Yang Fei, fueled by his rising pride, went up to the city wall. Looking at the crowd that was already waiting, and after checking that all the defensive towers had been fully charged, he didn't hesitate and directly activated the first wave of doubled extreme mode for the day.

"Understood, Trainee Lord Yang Fei-1, your Novice Trial Second Wave Doubled Extreme Mode (1x Extreme) Monster Siege will begin in ten minutes. Monster type: Slime, Monster level: Beast Level 0, Monster quantity: 5000."

"Please note that you have now activated the second wave of the Novice Trial in Double Limit Mode (1x Limit) monster siege. The three basic stats of the monsters have increased by 1.1 times. Please adjust your tactics accordingly."

"Please adjust the position of the War Slab... The movement and reconstruction functions will be restarted after the siege ends."

Five thousand slimes, with only 1.1 times the health of the normal difficulty level, were a bit too easy for Yang Fei, who had experienced nearly sixty thousand slimes with four times the stats. Moreover, this time it wasn't just that the enemies were weaker, but also Yang Fei's first major battle after his enhancement.

Yang Fei placed three gray-quality arrow towers and one gray-quality ice arrow tower into the charging stone slab. The succubus girl, Li Han and his duo, and Yue Lingling each had one arrow tower, while he himself remained in control of the ice arrow tower. After the charging stone slab replenished the basic energy of the defensive towers on it, Yang Fei started this challenge.

This time, Yang Fei did not send ground troops to stop the enemy. The 23 inferior demons and 7 tentacle monsters each occupied a white defensive tower and could simply gain experience.
