Wizard's Journey

Chapter 1110 The War of Civilizations

Chapter 1110 The War of Civilizations (Twenty-Two)

"Grimmon, something seems off."

Standing tall on the high platform of the fourth front, Green's wisdom, erudition, mystery, and imposing figure are admired by low-level wizards who come and go. The War of Civilization is the era in which legends are created in the history of wizards. If one can achieve something in the War of Civilization, it is almost equivalent to becoming famous for all time.

Without a doubt, in this war of civilizations, at least within this base, the name of the Archmage of the Tower of Annihilation has quietly begun to circulate among the other archmages who guard it.

Among these wizards, some must have been lucky enough to survive until the end of the war. Through them, the names of the wizards bearing the marks of the Tower of Annihilation were passed down to future generations, serving as material for later wizards to praise the heroic figures of ancient wizards and to collectively forge the will of wizards.

"Something definitely... isn't right!"

Grimm stared, not only was the power of the Space-Based Star Destroyer's single shot much weaker than before, but on the distant front, no Void Fleet was attempting to launch a strong attack through the gap in the Wizard's battle line torn apart by the Space-Based Star Destroyer. Instead, a full-scale offensive was underway!

Is this a sign that the final battle is about to begin?

In this light, the Holy Tower base still has the upper hand in terms of resources, and this Metal Destroyer Legion is the first to give way.

Uh...

The melodious sound of horns echoed across the fourth front. Behind them was a wizard's barrier, where repair wizards were racing against time to fix the energy nodes. Another large group of alien creatures from distant times and spaces fell into the irradiated world and were being slaughtered by the wizards.

"It's an emergency assembly call! Quick, emergency assembly!"

Upon hearing the horn, the low-level wizards scattered across the fourth front gathered towards the Stigmata wizards in their respective areas. Green and Little Eight on his shoulder turned their attention to the Stigmata wizards of District 335 who had blown the horn.

The fourth front is the responsibility of District 335.

"Damn it, it seems the final battle is indeed about to begin. That old bastard Yi is currently in a sealed state. I wonder which guy the Wizarding World will send in."

As Xiao Ba was speaking, Green suddenly turned his head as if sensing something and looked in the distance.

Over there, a terrifying creature that made Green tremble with unease was rapidly approaching the base. Could it be that it was transferred from within this radiation-filled world?

Magic surged, and as Grimm concentrated, his six pairs of compound eyes blinked incessantly. Suddenly, a dazzling light burst forth from the pupil of the World Eye in the center of his forehead. In Grimm's eyes, the world instantly transformed into a simple black and white dotted line structure. Extending beyond his field of vision, he could finally make out with difficulty what it was: a colossal object composed of countless bizarre ribbons of hair, each strand intertwined with the others, looking incredibly ferocious and eerie.

Surrounding this terrifying creature are tens of millions of miniature creatures, each resembling a tangled mess of hair, threads, and ribbons.

These are creatures native to the Radiation World, Radiation Creatures!

"It is the master of the Saha Soul."

Through these radiated creatures, Grimm has confirmed the identity of the arriving Overlord. As the native Overlord, the Soul of the Sovereign has the advantage of being empowered by the power of the world, while the Overlords of the invading world are more or less suppressed by the world's origin. With this disparity, the Overlord's power is far beyond what ordinary Overlords would be willing to confront head-on.

It's not surprising that this Overlord was brought in to fight the Metal Destroyer on the space-based Star Destroyer.

"Damn it, right, the Wizarding Alliance in this world is on the defensive. How could I, Eighth Master, forget that? Wahahahahaha... Ga!?"

Just as Xiao Ba was laughing triumphantly, the core of the fortress base behind him experienced a strong tremor and distortion of spacetime, as if the entire radiation world was shaking because of it. However, it was not a rejection, but a kind of inclusiveness. The Great World had enough original foundation to accommodate the arrival of any life!

"Who is it?"

Green and Xiao Ba went in the same direction. The front line of the war and even the Metal Destroyer's robots also looked over. Having had several head-on battle experiences, the Metal Destroyer Legion knew that the wizards had this kind of ability. Wherever the wizard's will covered, as long as the wizard's will needed it, it would rush to provide support at the fastest speed. The entire Wizard Alliance seemed to be integrated as a whole, advancing and retreating together.

Amidst the turbulent fluctuations of spacetime, lightning ripped through the sky, streaks of thunder danced in the radiant light, and elemental power surged and rippled across the heavens. Faintly, Green seemed to glimpse some scenes from the ancient dragon world.

"Hiss, could it be...?"

Just as Green was beginning to speculate, a sinister laugh, "Hehehehe," suddenly rang out from the depths of the turbulent base. Under the suffocating pressure, the elemental power of the entire vast battlefield converged in that direction, and endless blackness spread out.

The sky suddenly darkened, without a trace of light. Occasionally, metal robots were affected by the darkness and fell from the sky like raindrops.

Even some of the strange crystal terminators, whose originally intense pink light spots were now compressed around their bodies, leaving only a few pitiful light spots floating on their surfaces.

A true spirit wizard of the seventh ring, whose true form is a mixture of metal, energy, and flesh, and who pioneered the rules of light and dark wizardry, has descended!

Grimm was taken aback. He had only enslaved the infernal giant Ebadan King using the Titan's Ring of Depletion a few hundred years ago, and now the Wizarding Alliance had sent a seventh-circle True Spirit Wizard to descend upon him. Could it be...?

Its towering figure, reaching ten thousand meters, resembled a colossal giant, its body brimming with boundless elemental power, like a massive vortex devouring vast energy from all directions. Its true form was obscured as it surveyed everything on the vast battlefield.

The serene yet chilling pressure emanating from it instantly spread to the edge of the war front. In its eyes, any creature under its dominion was nothing more than a firefly of varying brightness.

A legion near the base was being watched, and millions of low-level robots suddenly struggled before inexplicably stiffening and falling from the sky.

Click, click, click...

Each step was accompanied by layers of spatial ripples. The indistinct, ten-thousand-meter-tall giant, formed from the gathering of dark clouds, slowly emerged amidst the swirling, turbulent elemental power. Its eyes, one bright and one dark, resembled two burning flames, radiating a captivating light.

That giant tortoise... the giant tortoise of Tiandu Peak!

After the qualifying battle at Grimm's Tower, the giant tortoise that travels to the heart of the wizarding world is called the Giant Tortoise. This is the Giant Tortoise of Tiandu Peak. There are five mountains on its shell. There is no castle on the top of the mountain. Only mechanical puppets live inside, which receive the wizarding apprentices who come once every hundred years.

That giant tree... the Tree of Life!

The seventh-ringed True Spirit Wizard not only incorporates three elements—metal, energy, and synthetic beast flesh—into his true form, but also attempts to incorporate a fourth element: life force.

The giant tree, with its roots intertwined on the left arm of the Seventh Ring True Spirit Wizard, blossomed, concentrated, and gathered, its immense life force condensed, resembling a giant shield.

On his right arm was a magic staff with intertwined light and shadow, two dragons playing with a pearl, biting a black smoke-swirling energy crystal, the power it held unknown.

The most dazzling brilliance comes from the ancient, upright ring on the finger that grips the magic wand, filled with raging flames!

Like the fiery light of a sun bursting forth, dazzling and savage, unyielding, fanatical and irritable, arrogant and domineering, that was Abaddon, wielding the infernal furnace!

Beside Abaddon, the ancient ring once again displayed a few more scattered patterns, but these were not on the same level as the ring and were completely overshadowed by the radiance of the patterns on Abaddon, the King of the Infernal Giants.

"Ebadan...the Overlord?"

Green's eyes burned with fervor as he gazed up at the Titan's Ring of Depletion, utterly incredulous. In just a few hundred years, this Infernal Giant King, with the help of a seventh-circle True Spirit Wizard, had actually advanced to the level of Overlord!

Possessing the Ring of Depletion, a Titan that commands a supreme will!?

"Damn it! Activating his true form didn't deplete his Sovereign Soul? This little guy has advanced to an eighth-level True Spirit Wizard? No! Impossible! Could it be…?"

Xiao Ba was filled with doubt and unease, also staring intently at the Titan's Worn Ring.
