Wizard's Journey

Chapter 1426 Knight

Chapter 1425 Knight

In the wizarding world, if there is any mysterious being who can rival the Five Rings True Spirit Wizard, there is probably only one person: the Supreme Knight Overlord!

In ancient times, in the wizarding world, there were no wizard apprentices as a medium. It was a time when there was a huge gap between ordinary people and wizards. Humans whose spiritual power was not up to level ten were not even qualified to come into contact with wizards. Humans whose spiritual power was up to level ten did not have a wizard apprentice stage. They would try every means to comprehend the power of nature, thereby stepping into the realm of wizards and seeing a completely different world.

Compared to the ancient wizarding world, the number of ordinary humans was enormous, a number far greater than that in the modern wizarding world. It was precisely this enormous number that enabled the ancient wizards to maintain large wizarding legions that conquered all directions despite their low advancement rates.

There are no records in the wizarding world regarding the earliest origins of knights.

Perhaps in the eyes of those high and mighty wizards, the knights of the past were just a group of stronger humans organized together. There was no clear distinction between knights and strong humans. As the trend took shape and the circles of commoners and nobles gradually solidified and formed, they had their own rules, and thus knights emerged.

While there is no clear boundary for the birth of knights, there is a clear record of the birth of bloodline sorcery, specifically the dark domain of ancient black wizards!

Ancient dark wizards would certainly not conduct such dangerous bloodline experiments on themselves. Compared to the mature bloodline magic in the modern wizarding world, which wizard apprentices can easily master, countless poor experimental specimens died in cruel experiments when dark wizards first began exploring in ancient times.

To better reflect his experimental expectations, the black wizard would not choose monkeys, frogs, or mice for his specimens, but rather humans!

Among the countless dark wizard laboratory bunkers housing humans, a poor legendary knight unfortunately fell into the hands of a dark wizard. This more robust and precious experimental material was not used indiscriminately by the dark wizard, but only when obtaining some crucial experimental data.

Fear and loneliness filled him. Every day, he witnessed his companions being snatched away by the black wizard with a sinister grin, never to return. The knight felt like a carefully raised animal, destined to be slaughtered when the time came. He knew this all too well.

Finally, on this day, the black wizard with a stiff smile and dead fish eyes stopped in front of the knight's bunker cell with her evil chimera.

"Hehehehe, are you ready?"

With each step the old witch took, a layer of black smoke would cover the stone slabs beneath her feet. This black smoke seemed to be tiny, living insects, burrowing around.

The knight remained silent, facing death with the courage to do so, unwilling to lose even the last shred of his dignity.

On the experimental table, the knight felt that his hands and feet were completely numb. It wasn't some kind of witchcraft from the old witch, but rather that his stiff body was not circulating properly and he had lost all feeling.

"The secret of life lies in blood and soul. Blood holds countless messages, each as vast as a world unto itself. If one could decipher these worlds, one could unravel the essence of life. Unfortunately, even a wizard's life and energy are finite. This is the secret of the endless truths of the world. Though I cannot fully comprehend it, even grasping a tiny fraction of it would be enough to change the entire wizarding world… Do not be afraid, you are advancing towards the mysteries of life and death!"

Glug, glug, glug, glug...

Accompanied by an evil "hehehehe" laugh, the old witch took out a heart that was beating "thump, thump" from a jar filled with a thick, yellowish liquid that looked like soup. The heart was pale gold in color. As the old witch chanted a deep, obscure incantation, disgusting worms crawled out of the heart, seemingly to keep it fresh and alive.

"There's a unique blood and energy power within your body that's not found in ordinary experimental specimens. Use this power to merge with your heart, but the process will be a bit painful, hehehehe, because I don't like anesthetics!"

A month later.

"So it failed again. What a pity about this precious golden lion demon heart. Such valuable materials are not easy to obtain. Let's just dispose of it..."

The old witch left, followed by a chimera that was over twenty meters long, with a heavy and massive body and three snake heads. One of the snake heads nimbly reached into the cell and swallowed the knight's supposed corpse whole.

a few days later.

The old witch was extremely fastidious about cleanliness and had very strict requirements for the hygiene of the laboratory environment. She also had her own methods for disposing of waste.

The Strange Language Water Mirror, a magical mirror connected to the Strange Language World, shows a fat, wrinkled, synthetic beast slowly excreting its waste into the Strange Language illusory world in front of the other water mirrors.

……

"Where is this?"

From the filthy excrement, something kept wriggling and slowly crawled out—it was the knight who had received the heart transplant!

Now, his hair and clothing have been completely digested by the chimera's digestive system. He is naked, protected by a layer of light golden scales that prevent him from being completely digested by the chimera.

"My...my heart..."

The knight, who was proficient in the power of qi and blood, was horrified to discover that he had no heartbeat and his pulse had completely disappeared, making him exist like a walking corpse.

It seemed that the golden lion demon's heart had undergone some special mutation with him. The heart's enormous energy allowed the knight to survive for a period of time in a special way, even though it was dead, and he was able to deceive the black wizard by feigning death.

"No!"

Having overcome initial fear and despair, the knight enters a fantasy world, striving to save himself and find the power to resurrect himself...

After the Second War of Civilizations.

The Strange Water Mirror, lost in the Wizarding Continent, was found by an ancient elemental wizard. Like many ancient elemental wizards, this wizard also ventured into the abyss to trace the footsteps of a one-star true spirit wizard, attempting to make a name for himself in this so-called new wizarding system that transcends elemental wizards.

In the competition with the elemental wizard, the Abyss Body Refining Wizard gradually fell into a complete disadvantage. This Saint Mark Wizard also failed to step into the path of the true spirit. With little soul fire left, the Saint Mark Wizard reviewed his life experience in his final moments, sighed, and decided to spend his last moments in the illusory world, finally entering the Strange Water Mirror.

Perhaps it was fate's arrangement that, in the final days of the old wizard's life in the fantastical world of Strange Words, he unexpectedly encountered a knight who had continuously pushed his limits to unimaginable heights in this vast and illusory realm!

"Return to the wizarding world, follow in the footsteps of the one-star True Spirit Wizard, and perhaps you will become the new hope for Abyss Body Refining Wizards!"

The old wizard murmured with satisfaction.

"A knight must have his own dignity; a knight must live for himself!"

………………

I've been staying at my grandma's house deep in the mountains these past few days. Yesterday the Wi-Fi was working, but I just couldn't get any data, it was driving me crazy! So I came out to town today to upload this. QAQ It's truly deep in the mountains, there are no neighbors, only elderly people living there. It takes more than an hour to get to town, and it's pitch black outside, there's no light at all.
