Wizard's Journey

Chapter 1769 Alliance Conference (Part 7)

With a pair of azure wings, the Elf King's head was a bright red strawberry, its eyes clear and watery. Daya gazed at the Black Witch King in silence for a long time.

After a long while, fear finally overcame indignation. The plant spirit king lowered his strawberry head, which had been fervently questioning him, flapped his azure wings, and retreated, sighing, "The perfect world described by the Wizard King truly belongs only to fairy tales."

With its curved, menacing crystal fangs, the plant spirit king was flanked by a hundred-meter-tall, hairy monster. Beneath its long, brown-black fur, a pair of small eyes glared at the indignant spirit king as it retreated.

"To have grown to this extent in just a few thousand years, you are a rare and outstanding being in the Alliance. However, it is precisely because of your youth that you have not been exposed to the history of the Wizard Alliance. Don't think that the peace and beauty of the Alliance in recent years is everything. This is just the time for the Alliance to fulfill its original purpose. We are all just pawns in the hands of wizards, and we can never escape this fate."

This hairy monster was enormous, appeared to move slowly, and had a voice that carried an indescribable sense of vicissitude and lingering emotion.

"You did not experience the brutality of the Alliance's early days, and you do not know the ferocious and terrifying side of those wizards. You are proud of this huge and powerful organization because you were born into this rule and adapted to this rule. But to the wizards, you are still just a pawn, a pawn enslaved and driven by the rules."

The Elf King roared in a low voice, "No, this is merely a one-sided phenomenon within the Alliance, just a very few isolated dark occurrences. The Wizard King is a reformer who will usher in a new era, and the Alliance will surely become even better!"

The hairy monster shook its head and ignored the elf king.

Although things weren't going well after the Elf King incident, the Alliance Conference was acting in accordance with the supreme rules of the Demon Hunting Expedition. Even the Black Witch King could only make these verbal pronouncements and dared not cross the line. If there were any outrageous actions, they would inevitably be met with a united response from the many rulers. Otherwise, the Alliance rules would lose their binding force and enforcement power, and would naturally begin to collapse and disintegrate.

After the Elf King retreated, another wave of will appeared!

Beside the young emperor, the black-eyed, half-bodied demon doll with button eyes looked at the crystal coffin Prometheus and calmly asked, "So, when will the Demon Hunting Expedition begin?"

Prometheus's eyes shifted from the Black Witch King to the demon doll within the crystal coffin.

Prometheus knew very little about this ruler who was personally introduced to the Alliance by the Wizard King, and the information he had was extremely scarce. However, as soon as he entered the Alliance, he got along well with the Quantum Light of the Cosmic World and followed the Ancestor of Wizards to participate in the conquest of the Chaotic Void Domain. His strength must be among the top peak in the Alliance.

"According to the deductions of the first Wizard King, after being amplified by the rules of the Wizard Ancestor, and with the growth and rise of a new generation of innate wizards, the wizarding world will usher in a new era of qualitative change three thousand years later. This peak will be reached after several eras, with the transition between the old and new eras completed. The ancient wizards will be replaced by innate wizards, and the wizard bloodline will replace the primitive human bloodline to rule the wizarding world. Therefore, the first Wizard King decided to launch an attack on the Dark World three thousand years later, beginning the Demon Hunting Expedition."

[At this point, I hope readers will remember our domain name: 10 ...

When Little Emperor noticed that Prometheus's gaze kept falling on him, he couldn't help but take the sticky lollipop out of his mouth and mumbled, "Hey, hey, hey, what's with all this staring at me? I haven't done anything to you, I'm a good boy!"

"Three thousand years later?"

The demon doll, its mouth sewn shut with ugly threads, pondered for a moment before saying impatiently, "Didn't they say the Dark Portal is about to pierce through the dimensional esophagus? When those desperate monsters, in order to enter the world of matter and energy, actually agree to the conditions of the Primordial Dark Ancestor and complete the promotion of the Dark Rules, what will your wizarding world use to fight against the Dark Portal?"

Growing angrier with each thought, the black doll coldly declared, "Could it be that the accumulated power of the wizarding world over thousands of years could surpass the ancient monsters that have gathered and accumulated across various dimensions of the dimensional esophagus?!"

What are ordinary words to the True Spirit Rulers are like earth-shattering roars to the Holy Mark Wizards and World Lords!

The Dark Portal?

The Primordial Dark Ancestor?

The information unintentionally revealed by the demon doll sparked a series of hushed discussions among the unknown world lords and holy scarlet wizards. However, such ethereal legends, similar to the Wizard King or the Lever of Fate, could only be imagined. They recalled how, as a member of the Demon Hunter Expeditionary Legion, they had witnessed the scenes of those incomparably powerful and terrifying life forms vying for supremacy based on their civilizations amidst the vast conflicts between the world's various factions.

Thinking of this, and then of myself as a member of a powerful wizarding world, confident that with the long-standing accumulation of wizarding civilization, coupled with the birth of the unparalleled first wizard king, I would never fear any civilization's head-on collision, and would surely complete the revenge for the ancient shame, crushing everything in my path with an incomparably powerful civilization, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement.

Inside the crystal coffin, Prometheus shifted his sunken eyes from the light emanating from the word "Hua Di" to the demon doll.

"This is the intention of the First Wizard King. According to reliable sources, although the First Wizard King will not directly participate in the expedition, he will control the rules behind the scenes to guide the legion's progress. As for the Dark Portal? Hmph, everything is under the control of the First Wizard King. The First Wizard King has already devised a way to counter the rules of the Dark Portal."

Hearing this explanation, the demon doll scoffed, "If it were that easy to solve, your first Wizard King wouldn't have risked being swallowed up by time and space to summon me to this time and space!"

He complained once, but ultimately didn't press the matter further.

"Does anyone have any suggestions?"

Unwilling to get entangled with this powerful ruler any further, Prometheus continued to ask the many members of the Alliance Assembly.

"Gaa gaa gaa, I have it! I propose that the alliance send envoys to formally declare war on the Dark World before launching an expedition. We must fight a decisive battle head-on..."

The proposer was none other than the Eight-Rainbow Nevis on the shoulder of the Saintly Wizard, Lulianman!

Lu Lianman and Ye Ye were clearly surprised that Xiao Ba would suddenly act this way. The other world lords and holy mark wizards who did not know Xiao Ba's identity were greatly astonished that this "parrot" would act so presumptuously at such a grand event. The true spirit rulers who knew Xiao Ba's identity, on the other hand, showed puzzlement.

"Don't look down on Eighth Master. This is Eighth Master's own request; it has absolutely nothing to do with him!"

Oh……

"I see."

After nodding from within the crystal coffin, Prometheus ignored Little Eight and continued, "Does anyone else have suggestions? If not, this is the initial plan for the Demon Hunting Expedition. The detailed plan will be formulated by the Alliance's True Spirit Overlord according to the strategic guidelines of the First Wizard King!"

"Hey, hey, hey, what do you mean? Can't I make a suggestion? A wizard's soulmate is equivalent to a wizard. This is a rule established in ancient times. Hey, hey, feed me..."

Little Eight shouted and yelled, only to be mocked by a fire elemental deer beside him: "You think you're something special, but someone has to use you as a dipping sauce, huh? Moo moo moo, your real form is hilarious. Little one, you'd better behave yourself."

This scene seemed perfectly natural, merely an unintentional embellishment by the organizers.

P.S.: I had a severe spring cold for the past three days, and I almost collapsed. However, remembering that "The Wizard's Journey" isn't finished yet, and fearing that everyone would dig up my old post, I quickly got up to recover and write. As a result, I uploaded the first update by mistake yesterday while still dizzy, and I stupidly thought the second update was uploaded by mistake. I'm so annoyed. Sorry, my cold is halfway better today, and I've had enough sleep, so I'll stay up all night on my laptop to write the extra chapters. I'll try to upload three chapters, and I'll upload one first.
