Wizard's Journey
Chapter 1969 Infiltration by a Doppelganger
Chapter 1967 Infiltration by a Doppelganger
Andersen, the third disciple of the First Wizarding King!
The power of destruction lies in its ability to traverse the vast river of time and return a portion of the material energy that has been destroyed in the flow of time. However, the power of Andussemo, the third disciple of the first Wizard King, is far more than that.
"Although the location in time and space is crucial, concerning information about the three Spring Ancestors, it is only a medium-sized world. With my level eight True Spirit Wizard's life strength, infiltration in the conventional sense would be tantamount to burying my head in the sand; this world simply cannot support it. But I am far inferior to my mentor in his ability to self-seal at will and integrate the rules of the Memory World Garment. I can only infiltrate in my own relatively clumsy way."
As he spoke, Andersen muttered a witchcraft incantation, and a black crack slowly opened in front of him.
An endless stream of chaotic and illusory power emerged, with countless fragmented thoughts popping out. Some even tangled together, attempting to cross into reality through the crack. However, when Andersen's hand, adorned with an ancient-patterned circular ring, pierced through the crack, these thoughts, like tangled coils of yarn, were instantly untangled, the chaos and fragmentation vanishing completely, leaving the surface as calm as a still lake.
When Andussemo's hand retracted from the crack, a black bat was dragged out by it.
With its bright green eyes covered in light gray down, two small fangs, and big, watery eyes, it doesn't look ferocious at all; instead, it's rather cute.
The bat was only the size of Andersen's palm. It stared at Andersen with its big, watery eyes, trembling with fear.
"What are you trying to do? I'm not a bad person. I grew up drinking my own blood. Where are you from?"
Looking at the medium of consciousness in his hand, which he was quite satisfied with, Andersen was extremely pleased, and gently stroked the bat's back with his other hand.
Seemingly too frightened, the little bat could no longer resist and turned to bite Andersen's palm. But it cried out "Ouch!" in pain, its wings flapping incessantly, and its two little fangs almost fell out from the pain.
Antusimo grinned, unconcerned. He reasoned that this little creature, equivalent to a level three being, could not possibly harm him in the slightest.
"Hehehehe, don't be afraid. I brought you here just to borrow your body for a while."
Andersen tried his best to appear kind and approachable, but as a terrifying monster trapped in the deep illusion world for several eras, and as Grimm's disciple who inherited Grimm's will, he naturally bore some of Grimm's image. As soon as he said these words, the little bat cat suddenly exploded, becoming extremely stiff and staring blankly.
goooo...
Swallowing hard, the little bat's already large, watery eyes became even more pitiful, almost as if they were about to overflow with tears.
"Please don't eat me, okay? I'm not kidding, I didn't grow up drinking blood. I've loved eating poop since I was little, you know, those excrements, the stinkier the better. My biggest hobby is collecting the feces of all kinds of creatures, mixing them together to make feces wine, and then taking feces baths. I don't taste good at all, waaaaaah..."
This little bat is terrified.
Andersen's smile grew even more sinister. His face, hidden in the shadows, revealed a wicked curve at the corners of his mouth, and his eyes were filled with a strange look as he drew closer and closer to the little bat.
"Ah! No! There can never be a future for us! I don't like you like this..."
Halfway through her sentence, seeing that she was powerless to resist and Andersen's lips were getting closer and closer, the little bat twisted and turned shyly and said, "Then be gentle, it's my first time, I like it gentle..."
Boo!
Before the little bat could react with its eyes closed, a brief kiss was over, and Andersen's lips parted, his wicked smile widening.
"Ah, is this what kissing feels like? Is this what falling in love feels like? I feel like we've become one, it's so wonderful."
The little bat was completely captivated.
"Yeah, it's amazing, hehehehe."
The sudden sound startled the little bat. When she opened her eyes again and turned her head, an unbelievable scene unfolded before her: she had an extra head! The face of the other head was none other than a shrunken version of Andersen's face, looking at her with a wicked grin. The little bat felt as if the whole world had turned to stone, and she stood there dumbfounded, completely frozen in place!
"Hehehehe, don't be afraid. I'm just borrowing your body temporarily. It's an honor for you to be valued by the disciple of the great first Wizard King, a Seven-Ring True Spirit Wizard. Come, follow me to the World of Ten Thousand Stones."
Having said that, ignoring the resistance of the other side of his body, the little bat's body, under the control of Andersen's will, flew towards the Myriad Stone World.
In the void, Andussemo himself was not satisfied with this. He then silently chanted the incantation again and created another clone in the same way. He created nearly a hundred clones in this way and sent them to the Myriad Stone World before stopping the witchcraft incantation and focusing all his attention on collecting information from each clone.
……
The mountain peaks are steep and rugged, fraught with danger and mist, with layers upon layers of verdant mountains, fierce and cruel – this is the best description of the natural rules of the myriad stone world.
"A world of countless stones, with such cruel ecological rules!"
This is a mud monster, with a flat face and a thoughtful look in its eyes, reminiscent of Andersen.
A three-meter-long spotted giant snake could barely be considered a level one creature at most. Even if its venom posed a slight threat to a level three creature, it wouldn't be fatal. The powerful metabolism and self-healing abilities of higher life forms are unimaginable to lower creatures. Therefore, upon first arriving in the Myriad Stone World and seeing this giant snake, Antoine Seymour's mud monster clone easily killed the potential threat from a distance.
However, an astonishing scene unfolded!
The flower petal snake, casually cleaved in two by the mud monster, gushed blood from the severed point. With a "squeak," wherever the blood splattered, the flowers and plants withered and died instantly, while the rocks and soil turned charred and melted, emitting an unbearable stench.
If that were all, it wouldn't be a big deal. But after the excruciating pain of the snake being severed in two, the tail instinctively struggled incessantly, while the head, mistaking it for an attack from the tail, retaliated wildly, biting at the tail. It had almost no ability to think and acted entirely on instinct.
"I wonder if all the natural rules of this world tend to be vicious. No wonder it can survive among the forces of the Spring Ancestor. The top creatures that have evolved in such a vicious world must be incredibly powerful."
……
Meanwhile, Andersen's first bat clone was also observing the scene inside the eagle's nest on the hilltop.
The eagle spread its wings and carried a small creature resembling a badger back to its nest. Ignoring the chicks inside, it ate the meat and then only picked up a small piece, leaving the rest to fall off the cliff. It seemed to prefer wasting food rather than letting its young chicks have enough.
How could such a small amount of meat possibly be enough for these six eaglets to eat?!
Sure enough, in a short while, the young eagles began to fight fiercely for the food, biting each other until they were bleeding from head wounds, before finally finishing off the small piece of meat, all while the male eagle watched coldly.
"I sensed a very ominous sense of oppression, as if the entire world was striving to cultivate the strongest beings in the natural food chain. These top-tier creatures of the world are definitely not creatures in the conventional sense, and their vitality must be extremely powerful!"
As the little bat spoke, though it was out of fear, it couldn't help but lick its lips, because the stronger a creature's vitality, the more vibrant its blood!
"Searching for the intelligent rulers of this world."
Andersen, however, was indifferent to these natural laws; he was merely a doppelganger of his will, and when he died, he died.
