Wizard's Journey

Chapter 1984 Abyss Battlefield

Chapter 1982 Abyss Battlefield (Part 7)

Empress Dowager Cixi, the 12th Iron Empress, was probably the one with the heaviest responsibilities among all the Iron Empresses in history.

The Death Stars accumulated by successive Iron Queens have been destroyed one after another during the Abyss Wars, and their wealth has been exhausted. Now, there are only two Death Stars that can perform normal combat operations. Two others are under repair due to severe damage, and one is under construction, but only a small part of the work has been completed, and the completion date is far away.

That's not all. The number of Iron-Blooded Elders has also decreased sharply from dozens during the Three Races War before the War of the Abyss to only twenty-two now, and the situation is extremely precarious.

This shows that not only did the Tricksters suffer heavy losses in their continuous battles with the Abyss, but the Sword in the Stone was also lost. In fact, the Ironblood Galaxy and the Mother Nest were also severely damaged, and even two Ironblood Empresses fell and became history.

As for the damage to the mother nest, although the exact details are unclear, it certainly wasn't much better.

The desire to end the war was deeply rooted in the hearts of every participating race. The protracted war had caused enormous losses to all races, and some were even on the verge of a power reshuffle, likely to be replaced by newer races and thus exit the stage of dominance.

On this day, a secret meeting was convened by the Iron-Blooded Empress.

"According to reliable intelligence, the wizard legion is about to arrive, and the Vajra Brahma Ancestor of Sanskrit is also on his way. The day of the final assault is just around the corner. What are your predictions?"

The Empress did not wear the heavy Predator helmet. Compared to male Predators, the Empress did not have the four standard fangs. Although she also had dark green skin, she had a softer appearance. However, as the Predator Empress, the strongest female warrior, and the pinnacle of power of the Predator Galaxy Clan, the 12th Predator Empress appeared much more capable and had a more refined look.

Looking around, at the round table platform, there were six Iron-Blooded Elders participating in the meeting.

Unfortunately, although the Twelfth Iron-Blooded Empress is the strongest female warrior in the Iron-Blooded Galaxy Clan, she is still far inferior to the unparalleled power of her predecessors, and several elders in the clan are stronger than her.

"Over the years, the Abyss Demons have clearly been using our race as a breakthrough point, attempting to dismantle the resistance forces on this battlefield. Therefore, we must launch a decisive battle with overwhelming force, and not drag it out endlessly like those smaller races. The losses suffered by Ironblood Galaxy in this Abyss War far exceed those of the Mother Nest and the Devourers. It is no exaggeration to say that the life and death of Ironblood Galaxy is now hanging by a thread!"

This Ironblood Elder wore a standard elephant-trunk-shaped Ironblood helmet. His imposing figure exuded an aura of authority. A giant sword was stuck in the stone slab beside him. As one of the strongest elders in the Ironblood Galaxy, he naturally had enough authority to speak.

"According to intelligence obtained by our secret spies, the Abyss Demons are also divided into two different factions: one advocating the infinite expansion of the Abyss and the other advocating breaking through dimensional barriers. As more and more races join the war after feeling the threat of the Abyss, the Abyss Demons are growing larger and larger. The Abyss Demons' leadership has completely leaned towards breaking through dimensional barriers. The information from the Plane Watchers further confirms this intelligence."

His voice was incredibly suppressed. This Ironblood Elder wore a dark gold bull-horned helmet, and his four fangs opened and closed his mouth as he spoke. On his pale green face, there were six eyes, making him a rare mutant among the Predator race!

The Iron-Blooded Elder in charge of intelligence reconnaissance paused as he spoke, and at that moment all the Iron-Blooded Elders, including the Empress, turned their attention to him, clearly indicating that this Iron-Blooded Elder held a special position within the clan.

"This is why I strongly endorsed the Demon Master's proposal and wholeheartedly invited the wizards to join the war! Since the faction of the Abyss Demons advocating for the expansion of the Abyss has reached its limit, this will obviously be the Abyss Demons' last struggle, and the intensity of their attack will be unprecedented. At that time, the Iron-Blooded Galaxy will serve as the breakthrough point..."

Drop drop drop!

Da da da da, da da da da, da da da da...

Suddenly, a flurry of footsteps echoed from outside the conference room. A group of iron-blooded generals, disregarding the high-level meeting in progress, pushed open the door. To the astonishment of the Twelfth Iron-Blooded Empress and the Iron-Blooded Elders, the generals rushed in, urgently exclaiming, "A large army of Abyss Demons has gathered near Wood Sprout Star and is breaking through the outer defense system of the Wood Sprout World. Their combat power is astonishing; the outer defenses will likely not be able to hold out for long!"

kindness! ?

This sudden change shocked everyone present. The scene was so familiar. The tenth Iron-Blooded Empress and several elders had also been ambushed and killed in the same way. There must be a high-ranking traitor or spy in the Iron-Blooded Galaxy. Who could it be?

After a brief, eerily oppressive silence, the 12th Iron-Blooded Empress made a decisive decision!

"Elders, come with me to investigate the true strength of the Abyss Legion!"

After saying that, with three clicks, the 12th Iron Empress instantly completed her full armored state. Her helmet was shaped like a golden eagle, and at the same time, two lightsabers swirled and crossed in the conference room at an astonishing speed before being accurately caught by the Iron Empress's left and right hands.

The other Iron-Blooded Elders also instantly armed themselves, and under the tense gaze of the Iron-Blooded Generals who broke through the wood, they walked out of the conference room step by step, exuding a cold aura filled with iron and blood.

These iron-blooded generals, seasoned by countless battles, were not tense because of the impending battle. What they were tense about was Her Majesty the Empress and the many elders whom they needed to protect and dedicate themselves to. The abyssal demons did not gather such a large army to come to this planet for no reason. The Iron-Blooded Empress and the elders had just held a meeting here when they were attacked!

Following a large number of guards, the group passed through a long tunnel. As the heavy metal gate in front of them slowly opened, the brilliance of the nearby stars replaced the artificial lighting. This was also the knowledge that the wizard had studied about the influence of the greater world on the surrounding smaller worlds.

Outside the gate, the exotic mountain peaks and forests, painted in shades of red and yellow, rise and fall, lush and verdant.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...

The Iron-Blooded Empress, accompanied by numerous elders and generals, floated in mid-air amidst a lush forest. If it weren't for the open door to the conference room below, there would be almost nothing amiss.

Looking up again, through the hazy atmosphere, they could vaguely see dense clusters of lights around several large aircraft. Without a doubt, those were the battle traces of the Guardian Legion.

"This planet is locked in spacetime. Such powerful spacetime control! Even I am completely suppressed!"

This elder, one of the strongest in the Ironblood Galaxy, spoke with a stern voice. He had originally intended to choose an ordinary planet for safer concealment and had not made a big show of deploying a war legion to protect it, but unexpectedly, it became the other side's opportunity.

Rumble rumble rumble!

The friction between the metal debris and the atmosphere illuminated streaks of flame. Most of them burned up halfway through their fall, yet they continued like a meteor shower, one after another. At this rate, the defenses set up on this planet probably wouldn't last much longer.
