Wizard's Journey

Chapter 1986 Abyss Battlefield

Chapter 1984 Abyss Battlefield (Part 9)

As they traveled, small groups of people visited them frequently, which allowed the wizards to obtain a great deal of information about the alliance in the area.

Of course, compared to these small groups of followers, the wizards were really concerned about the dynamic indicators of the six large groups. Unfortunately, it seems that because of the wizards' approach or the upcoming Brahma, the interests among the large groups have not yet been compromised and distributed. At least during the contact with these small groups, the wizards did not get much of the information they wanted.

Although the second Wizard King and Prometheus strategically defined this voting right as a pretext, and that the final decision would inevitably be made by force, this was merely the final resolution.

If the problem can be solved through a simpler voting method, that would be best!

Although the chances are slim, for wizards, fighting for legitimate financial rights is one way to quickly integrate into the community. Even if conflicts arise over the distribution of benefits, they will not become enemies.

Thus, the second Wizard King was also considering how many votes the wizards should vie for in this council battlefield, and at the same time, he also gave instructions on the resource allocation and supply arrangements for the wizarding world.

On this day, another group came to visit the Eternal Sky City. However, this time the visitor was quite special. He was no longer the leader or envoy of the small groups, but the Fool of the Trickster Clan!

Is that old guy back again?

The arrival of the Fool, the Deceiver, earlier alerted the Second Wizard King to some suspicious signs. Now he's back again?

"It seems something major happened on that battlefield. This guy received the news midway and then made up for it. The immense pressure exerted by the wizard legion is gradually affecting the situation on this battlefield? Hmph!"

The second-generation Wizard King murmured wishfully, snapping out of his reverie of reading the Book of Truth. After putting the Book of Truth away, he said matter-of-factly, "Then let's meet again, at the Welcome Fortress."

The report came from the second-ring True Spirit Wizard, who was also the direct descendant of the first Wizard King, the Wandering Dandelion. The witch nodded in understanding and silently left.

Half an hourglass time later.

Compared to the grand scene of welcoming the Fool, the first time, the welcoming fortress only had three people in the main hall: a second-circle True Spirit Wizard, a second-generation Wizard King, and the Fool.

"Hmph, could it be that Lord Fool is so fond of the wizard's fragrant tea at the Welcoming Fortress that he's reluctant to leave?"

The second-generation Wizard King joked, then added, "However, as we get closer to the battlefield, the other True Spirit Wizards have all gone to carry out their respective missions and are unable to come and greet you. Only the two of us are here. I hope you won't mind, Master."

It was still the same scarecrow wearing a straw hat, with eyes glowing with an eerie green light, like the pupils of a cat at night, its mouth wide open, with insects crawling around inside, and an indescribable eerie aura emanating from it.

"Hehehehe, the Wizard King took time out of his busy schedule to see this old man a second time and didn't turn me away. I guess I'm lucky."

The Fool's first sentence was nothing special, but his next sentence did cause the expression on the face of the second-generation Wizard King, Truth, to change slightly.

"However, I have indeed returned with important news to share, and I believe you will receive the intelligence soon. Some changes have occurred in the Ironblood Galaxy World Cluster. It is said that the Twelfth Empress was ambushed by the Abyss Demons while holding a secret meeting, and the specific situation is currently unknown. But judging from the fall of the strongest Tenth Empress, it seems that the Twelfth Empress is likely in grave danger. Your Wizarding World should also prepare for any changes in advance. That's all I have to say."

As the Fool, the Deceptive Master, looked at the Second Wizard King with a mocking and grotesque gaze, the Second Wizard King was already deep in thought, contemplating everything that was happening in the Ironblood Galaxy World Cluster.

"Alright, now that I've said what I needed to say, I'm leaving."

After finishing his self-deprecating remarks, the Fool, the Deceiver, left and returned to the Wizard Legion of the Demon Hunting Expedition, all for the sake of saying just a few more words.

The second-ring True Spirit Wizard rose to see them off, while the second-generation Wizard King remained lost in thought.

……

Another half hour of sand time has passed.

When the Second Ring True Spirit Wizard saw off the Fool the Deceiver and returned to the Welcome Fortress, the Second Wizard King had already left. In the empty hall, the witch sighed and silently took out her crystal ball to search for useful information.

"Green is moving too fast."

Speaking of which, as the oldest True Spirit Wizard in the Wizarding World, the Second Wizard King is undoubtedly the best candidate in the Wizarding World today in terms of experience, wisdom, courage and martial prowess. However, for some reason, many newly promoted True Spirit Wizards and Stigmata Wizards feel a sense of unease about this Wizard King.

If we must pinpoint the reason, it must be the difference in eras and differing perceptions.

This ancient wizard's understanding of the wizard's role was deeply ingrained, especially among some of the lesser wizards in the wizarding world. They harbored considerable dissatisfaction with the performance of this second-generation wizard king. The standard of living in the wizarding world had clearly declined compared to the time of the first wizard king, but due to their lowly status, they couldn't do much. As for the higher wizards, they only felt a little uncomfortable. After all, with a formidable enemy at hand, the second-generation wizard king, who advocated killing, might be more suitable for this stage than the first wizard king.

A short while later, the wandering dandelion obtained information about the location of the second-generation Wizard King.

the other side.

Inside the absolute space of the Eternal Sky City, it was brightly lit, without a single shadow.

Prometheus, the Metal Cube, stood side by side with the Second Wizard King. After a simple yet ancient ritual, a key appeared in Prometheus's palm. It was about half a meter long and had a semi-transparent, unreal texture, as if this were a medium to unlock mysteries. Under the solemn gaze of the Second Wizard King and Prometheus, the semi-transparent key was slowly inserted into the ground of this space.

Click, click, click, click, click, click...

As if awakening a savage and terrifying beast, the faint tremors emanating from the depths of the earth caused the two people standing solemnly in this space to reveal boundless anticipation.

Rumble rumble rumble rumble...

The sound grew closer and closer, and as the first crystal coffin appeared before them through the ground, it was none other than the former first-ring True Spirit Wizard!

The old wizard was in a deep slumber, surrounded by an astonishingly dense elemental mist. Every single hair and eyebrow of the old wizard inside the crystal coffin was lifelike, and his wrinkled elemental robes fluttered in the wind. With the rise and fall of the elemental mist, there was a faint struggle between his brows, clearly indicating that he had slowly awakened from his deepest sleep.

Immediately afterwards, another crystal coffin appeared.

However, although the wizard inside was an ancient wizard, whom many modern wizards knew nothing about, both Prometheus and the second-generation Wizard King knew him very well. With a smile, they looked at the third crystal coffin, the fourth crystal coffin, and the fifth crystal coffin...

The Demon Hunting Expedition is about to begin, and these ancient wizards, in their best condition, are slowly awakening from their deepest slumber. They are the absolute foundation of this eternal sky city!

"Awaken from your slumber, little ones! The war to hunt demons in the wizarding world is about to begin, and your mission is about to unfold, hehehehehehe!"

Regardless of seniority or status, the second-generation Wizard King has the absolute right to address these sealed wizards as "little guys"!

As their self-awareness gradually returned, one by one, the sealed wizards opened their eyes within their crystal coffins, including Prometheus's crystal coffin clones. In this eerily quiet atmosphere, Prometheus slowly uttered, "The Demon Hunting Expedition, the final battle!"
