Wizard's Journey

Chapter 2067 Abyss Intestines

Compared to the expansion of rules by the wizarding civilization, the expansion of the Abyss Moss by completely changing the rules of the world and connecting all worlds into one is undoubtedly more thorough.

"Is this the abyssal intestines described in ancient wizarding texts?"

After searching for months in the ancient ruins world, with little interest in the endless abyssal monsters, Grimm finally found the entrance to the abyssal intestine in a canyon.

The so-called abyssal gut refers to those spacetime tunnels that are completely connected by the rules of the abyss.

The abyssal intestines were not formed by human intervention, but rather by the constant attraction of world rules of the same attribute, which gradually intertwined their spacetime, forming a spacetime channel that, like intestines, intersects and becomes tangled within many abyssal worlds.

Green, like a paper doll, slowly descended from the sky, looking at the enormous abyssal vortex.

The vortex, about thirty kilometers wide, sucked in the demonic energy from all directions like a whale drawing in water. Standing at the vortex's mouth, Green could clearly feel the immense suction force emanating from within.

Green tried his best to extend his consciousness into the vortex, but it was separated by the enormous suction force, making it impossible for him to know what was inside.

"We don't know where it leads, let's go and take a look."

Thinking this, the flat paper figure, Green, was pulled by the enormous suction force and jumped into the vortex, disappearing without a trace.

It was pitch black all around, filled with abyssal demonic energy. Strangely, Green did not feel any spatial or temporal pressure. His eyes under his blond hair kept looking back and forth, but he did not find anything. Meanwhile, the suction force around him gradually began to decrease.

suddenly!

As Green emerged from the abyss's intestines, what appeared before him were countless, endless black worms, struggling, howling, and fighting amongst themselves.

There are seven vortexes in the sky, all of which are pouring demonic energy into this place.

Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!

The azure sun, tinged with a hint of dark green, was accompanied by eerie red clouds drifting across the sky, casting an ominous glow.

Having just adapted to the rules of this space, Green was struck by several consecutive arcs of lightning from the sky. After a burst of azure spiritual light emanated from his body, Green remained floating in the air as if nothing had happened, unmoved.

Green was unharmed, but the other creatures sucked into the abyss's intestines were not so lucky.

In the distance, several more crackling thunderclaps resounded. Before the creatures that had just been drawn into this space could react, they were struck by lightning and turned into dust, falling from the sky.

"The Source of the Abyss!"

Although Green knew from ancient texts that the source of the abyss might appear in the abyss intestines, even the ancient wizards' texts were only fragmented pieces and did not describe it in detail. He never expected that he would find the source of the abyss in the first section of the abyss intestines he entered.

The so-called source of the abyss is these wriggling worms, the abyssal demons before reaching adulthood at level three!

The reason why the Abyss Demons are so few in number is not because they lack a foundation, but because they need to transform from larvae into adults. In this transformation process, the vast majority of larvae complete this process in the source of the abyss, fighting each other to produce the strongest, and only the strongest can survive.

As the flat paper figure of Grimm gradually became fuller, he descended in a three-dimensional form. As if sensing this, the wriggling demonic insects retreated from the ground where Grimm was about to land.

Green reached out and grabbed a worm in his hand.

The black worms vary in size depending on their evolutionary time. The worm in Green's hand at this moment had just reached the level of a first-level creature, about fifteen centimeters long. Its surface had already grown some fine scales, and its head had a large, swirling mouth full of teeth. It struggled in Green's hand, even viciously biting at Green, but to no avail.

"This is an even more precious specimen than the Abyss Demon Ancestor!"

As he spoke, Grimm took out "Grimm's Fairy Tales." Unlike other versions of "Grimm's Fairy Tales" that are readily available in the wizarding world, this version of "Grimm's Fairy Tales" contains many creatures from countless world dimensions sealed within it by Grimm's sealing magic. Therefore, at the end, these creatures appear in the form of wizarding script.

"The profound truth, dimensions, and the sealing technique of Grimm's Fairy Tales."

As Grimm's magic surged, the magical worm in his hand struggled incessantly, yet it was still broken down into countless cube-shaped runes, which were then sealed into "Grimm's Fairy Tales." A few short wizarding words slowly emerged: Abyss Worm.

With a "bang," the book "Grimm's Fairy Tales" closed and disappeared into the dimensional gap. Grimm walked forward step by step, and the black demonic insects that were constantly wriggling around him all retreated, making way for Grimm.

A short while later, Green found a milky white cocoon, about one meter tall, which floated towards the vortex like a hydrogen balloon.

The demonic energy continuously spewing from the vortex did not blow it away; on the contrary, it seemed to have a great attraction to it. After a cold laugh, Grimm floated to the cocoon, reached out his palm to touch it, and almost instantly peeled away the silk and pulled out the cocoon. While a layer of cocoon wrapped around Grimm, it revealed a black worm inside with its mouth open like a chrysanthemum, undergoing transformation.

After losing its silk, the demonic insect fell to the ground, while Green curled up into a ball and gradually became a new cocoon, drifting towards the vortex.

The pupa floats out of the vortex and is immediately detected by the dragons of the abyss world. The strongest dragon among them picks it up and completes the next stage of its life journey!

One by one, the pupae were neatly arranged by the abyssal dragons in the most comfortable caves.

The ground was covered with fire crystals, and the cave ceiling was covered with crystal stones. The white pupae formed a circle, twelve in total, including the white pupae that Grimm was disguised as. After an adult abyssal demon entered the cave, he counted the number of white pupae in the cave and then left.

In this world corrupted by the abyss, although the creatures that once ruled this world are no longer the dominant class due to the abyss's mutations, they still retain considerable intelligence and survive the predation of various abyssal creatures, becoming a link in the food chain.

The creatures that once existed in this world were called the Uru Giants, but now they are merely mutated beasts of the Dragon Ranch.

"They're demons!"

Adult Uru giants are five meters tall. Due to the mutations in the abyss, some are even taller, some have become twisted and ferocious, and some have lost their intelligence and become beasts, no longer stable.

There were about three hundred Uru giants in this small tribe. After the Abyss Demons descended, the Uru giants were terrified.

"I need twelve sacrifices."

With no right to object, the chieftain could only select the twelve lowest-ranking members of the tribe. These chosen ones struggled incessantly, and the elite warriors knocked them unconscious one by one before carrying them away with the Abyss Demons.

Inside the cave!

The unconscious Uru giants awoke one after another, but no matter how much they struggled, they could not break free of the ropes binding them.

puff……

The top of the white cocoon is slowly melting.

After watching helplessly as the top of the white pupa gradually melted and a hole appeared, the black worm opened its chrysanthemum-like ferocious mouth and transformed into a blur, snapping onto the face of the Uru giant with a "smack." Then, its body began to wriggle and squirm, getting smaller and smaller, until finally everything burrowed into the Uru giant's mouth and entered its body.

Therefore, it seems that the abyssal demons lurking in the dimensional food passage are merely displaying the talents they possessed in their childhood.

After emerging from the white pupa, Grimm coldly watched everything unfold. The Uru giants, whose bodies had been burrowed into by the abyssal larvae, fell into a coma once again as the special substance secreted by the demonic insects within them was released.

Taking out his notebook, Green wrote: The abyss larva needs to undergo two transformations to become an adult. It transforms from a combat larva into a pupa of a parasite, and then the parasite transforms into a mature form. The evolution of a wizard's spiritual constitution can be learned from this. After passing through the rules of the wizard ancestor, a wizard can then complete a new transformation through acquired evolution to achieve a spiritual body.

After finishing his notes, Isolation ignored the only conscious giant, Uru, and walked out of the cave on his own.
