Wizard's Journey

Chapter 416 The War to Annihilate the Dark Empire (Part 8)

Numerous witch hunters with medals of honor from the surrounding area quickly gathered around Grimm.

Meanwhile, these changes seemed to have attracted the attention of some resistance forces in the Flame Soul World, who secretly followed and flew over.

The first group of demon hunter wizards to arrive consisted of four people. All four were level two demon hunter wizards, and all four of them wore level three honor badges. They all stared at Green in surprise.

Demon hunters with the First-Class Medal of Honor receive the attention of the primal will, which can stir up ripples of the primal will and summon nearby demon hunters with the Medal of Honor.

"Kill him!"

Green was constantly waving his Ram Horned Skull Magic Staff, fighting alongside a dozen demon hunters against the swarming Flame Soul World slave monsters. Upon seeing reinforcements, he immediately shouted to the four of them.

"Um?"

The expressions of the several demon hunters changed drastically, their eyes filled with disbelief.

This mere infant locust-man, with a constitution less than five, was something this first-class honor medal demon hunter could crush with a flick of his wrist...

As for the fledgling locust, it was crying in fear as it fled with all its might.

Based on human age estimates, he would be only about twelve or thirteen years old.

Despite their anger at the order issued by Green's Medal of Honor, the group dared not hesitate and mobilized their natural powers to give chase, as if they were about to easily kill this insignificant little fellow.

call out!call out!

Suddenly, two incredibly fast blades appeared, as if they were a deadly strike that had been secretly gathering power for a long time. The blades, burning with the power of raging flames, were tens of meters long!

The four level-two demon hunter wizards were shocked and hurriedly stopped in their tracks.

Of the two demon hunters attacked, one of them had an extremely weak wizard shield, supported only by the will of the wizarding world and a level three honor medal. Therefore, he was extremely cautious and disappeared in a hurricane.

The other witch hunter seemed to rely extremely heavily on the wizard's shield, and his reactions were slightly slower.

With a loud "bang!"

The blazing Soul Greatsword collided with the Wizard's Shield. The Wizard's Shield only offered slight resistance before shattering. The Demon Hunter Wizard managed to escape the fatal blow by transforming into countless blue light specks and saving his life. However, upon reassembling, he coughed up a large amount of blood.

Meanwhile, the witch hunter appeared dizzy and his soul seemed to be injured.

Almost instinctively, the witcher tilted his head back, swallowed a vial of potion, and fled without looking back.

Grimm, who was being harassed by the slave monsters, naturally noticed the change in situation. His expression shifted slightly, and he muttered to himself, "Level three locust-men? Two of them?"

Green would never believe it was a coincidence, but the fact was that two Locust Saints had appeared in front of him!

The three level-two demon hunter wizards were also taken aback, but then they immediately understood.

A mission that can be summoned by a first-class honor medal demon hunter must not be a simple mission. That young locust man is probably hiding some amazing secret!

Thinking this, one of the three demon hunter wizards, a middle-aged woman with a single eye, stretched out a withered hand, her five fingertips igniting with purple light, and said to the two demon hunter wizards beside her, "Hold them off for now."

The two demon hunters, a man and a woman, nodded.

As several Level 2 Demon Hunter Wizards with rich combat experience and Level 3 Honor Medals, they would have had no problem holding off the two Locust Saints if they hadn't been careless and been ambushed.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The sounds of explosions from the fierce battle in mid-air were incessant.

The demon hunter wizards summoned by the first-class medal of honor, Grimm, had not yet fully arrived. In the blink of an eye, three more flew in, one of whom was a third-level demon hunter grand wizard with a second-class medal of honor, his body hidden under a wide black wizard's robe.

With the help of the demon hunter wizard beside him, Grimm escaped the clutches of the slave monsters of the Flame Soul World and shouted to the three newcomers, "Kill that young locust man! We can't let him get away!"

"Um?"

The three witch hunters were all startled and looked at the young locust-man who was almost in a state of extreme terror.

With three whooshing sounds, three demon hunter wizards, along with Grimm, chased after the locust man from different directions.

Woo woo la la...

Suddenly, from behind a towering, fiery red nest next to the young locust-man, a large swarm of slave monsters flew out, chasing several demon hunters. Upon seeing the numerous demon hunters, a small portion of the slave monsters swarmed over.

"Again? Is this really just a coincidence?"

Beneath the surface of truth, Grimm's two-colored eyes were secretly astonished. Just killing a mere insignificant locust-man required so many so-called coincidences to hinder his progress.

call……

Suddenly, a ball of black flame, over thirty meters long, appeared. With a loud "boom," a demon hunter being chased by the black flame was blasted away and fell to the ground. His azure eyes looked over.

But the moment those azure eyes saw Green, they froze.

"Hey, it's you!?"

The angry roar startled Green, who then realized that the World Guardian must know some of his identity and recognize him.

After all, Green was the instigator of the invasion of the Flame Soul World by wizards, and he should be on the kill list of the world's top rulers.

Therefore, Green in this world must always be vigilant and carefully protect himself.

In fact, in Green's plan, he was determined not to step into the Darkborn Empire alone. Otherwise, if he were to encounter the Locust Saint who had appeared in front of the Gate of the World, Green would not have the support of the source of magic at this time, which would be no joke.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...

Ripples spread from Grimm's First Class Medal of Honor, and more and more demon hunters were gathering from all directions, focusing their attention on the world guardian of the Flame Soul World.

At this time, most of the guardians of this world are fighting against the massive army of Ming Wizards in the high sky, and rarely appear on the ground.

After a slight change in expression, Green whispered to Hachi under the guise of truth, "Go and mark the target immediately, and follow them secretly."

"Huh? Okay."

The mark Green was referring to was, of course, Little Eight's infamous poop and pee technique.

Relying on Hachi's mysterious power, any creature marked by Hachi will almost never be able to shake off that unique stench for its entire life.

With a "whoosh," Little Eight flapped its wings and flew away quickly. Green waved his hand at the many elite demon hunter wizards who had gathered around, and said coldly and sinisterly, "Kill him."

More than ten elite demon hunter wizards surrounding Green flew away in response, including two powerful level three demon hunter wizards, one with two level three honor medals and the other with one level three medal and one level two honor medal.

More than two hundred slave monsters surrounded the guardian of the Black Flame World, while in the shadows, locust people who had fled the chaos of the Dark Annihilation Capital continued to gather.

The world guardian roared.

"You wicked leader, today is your death day!"
