Wizard's Journey

Chapter 478 Gathering

Seven days later.

Grimm met up with another level-three demon hunter archmage who possessed the original will of the wizarding world.

The sheer size of the two armies of abyssal monsters, each consisting of tens of millions of abyssal creatures, was terrifying, yet it was only mobilized by two wizards, which was truly unbelievable.

Layer upon layer of abyssal monsters roared and howled at each other, but after a short while, they merged into a team centered around the eight wizards in the middle.

From afar, the terrifying army of abyssal monsters was gathered together, and the dark and mysterious place inside the army was the mysterious and unknown wizard leader, the Demon King, the object of hatred and fear for the locust people of the Flame Soul World.

Solem, Vicky, Millie, and Kredia, in their various forms, stood on either side of Grin behind him. Little Hachi, with its bright red and green feathers, stood on Grin's shoulder, their eyes meeting Grin's as he looked at the three wizards flying in from afar.

It is worth mentioning Solangm.

Even though it was shattered into pieces by the extremely powerful Locust Saint's sword, it inexplicably reappeared in the sky a few moments after the battle ended.

In that instant, Green truly felt the fluctuations of an unknown, illusory world.

The three wizards opposite were all level three demon hunter wizards, their auras filled with the wisdom and control of elemental wizards.

Three wizards, flanked by two level-three archmages, one male and one female, one with a level-three honor medal and the other with a level-two honor medal, were surrounded by powerful elemental fluctuations that seemed to converge on them like ribbons, constantly being pulled onto the wizards' protective shield.

The male wizard had a green frog crouching between his palms, croaking. His face was abnormally pale, and his eyes held a sinister and violent aura.

The witch possesses a pair of dark wings and is a rare dark elemental witch. Her black hair burns fiercely, like the black flames on the head of a locust-man.

At this moment, the witch seemed to sense something strange and looked at Green with a puzzled expression, staring intently at this first-level witch hunter wizard who possessed a first-level honor medal.

Without a doubt, it was the mysterious power of the dark source that gave the witch this inexplicable feeling.

As for the third-level archmage in the very center, who is also another archmage who initiated the abyss summoning, she is a witch. She rides a giant cobra, which hisses and flicks its tongue. Her hair is covered with tiny snakes, and her sharp red eyes are chilling.

"The Wizard of Grimm?"

The sorceress who had also initiated the abyss summoning asked in a hoarse voice, and when she opened her mouth, two long, venomous fangs were revealed.

Green kept recalling the information of the nine demon hunter wizards with first-class honor medals who participated in this demon hunting expedition, which was in the combat command.

Nine demon hunter wizards with first-class honor medals, plus six holy mark wizards, a total of fifteen wizards capable of summoning the abyss, led the legion of abyssal monster servants to sweep through the area affected by the continental shockwave.

As for the continental shockwave, it was a localized global catastrophe caused by a legion of six Stigmata Wizards and tens of thousands of Ming Wizards who, after long preparation, formed a super-massive magic array after detecting a weak point in the continental plate.

According to the information received by Green from the combat command, the range of this continental shockwave attack covered approximately one-twentieth of the Flame Soul Continent, and the results were astonishing, successfully completing the previously planned mission.

"Grimm has met the Great Wizard of Mesawa. These are my companions: Soram, Vicki, Millie, and Catherine."

Green and his group of five demon hunter wizards all bowed respectfully to the level three archmage with a head full of thin snakes. This was an archmage with great potential to advance to the level of a Saint Mark Wizard.

"Um."

Misawa simply nodded to the other four wizards, seemingly uninterested in these low-level wizards, while her eyes were fixed on Grimm, revealing a hint of appreciation from a senior for a junior.

"Now that we've met, let's clear away the obstacles together. Have we encountered any troublesome locust-people tribes before?"

The witch asked casually, yet with a hint of concern.

Green nodded.

"We did encounter a troublesome locust tribe seven days ago, but fortunately, we have already wiped them out with the help of the massive Abyss Legion we have gathered."

After Misawa and Grin's two massive Abyss Legions merged into one, they chatted casually while directing the Abyss Legions to rush in all directions.

"This world is somewhat similar to the wizarding world. In times of crisis, when the population of a race is dwindling, the races produce more outstanding geniuses who bravely resist."

It's likely that Misaka must have encountered some troublesome locust people to have made such a remark.

But as she spoke, Misaka smiled indifferently.

"However, the ruler of this world has not given birth to a hero who can change the world."

Xiao Ba became interested and chimed in, "Hehe, that Primordial Locust Flame God hasn't fallen yet, so who knows what miracle might happen?"

No matter how I listen to Xiao Ba's words, I can't help but feel that they carry a hint of mockery and sarcasm.

…………

Nineteen days later.

Unless the Primordial Locust Flame God leads all the locust people in his divine kingdom to appear in person, with the combined forces of Grin and Misawa's two abyssal demon servant legions, there is no locust force in this world that can prove to resist or stop them.

The vast and mighty army of abyssal monsters was invincible, constantly erasing one locust-man settlement after another.

The continental shockwave may be a major local catastrophe for the creatures of the Flame Soul World, but for the abyssal demons on this land, it is a rebirth.

From now on, this continent will be the source of abyssal monsters and the place where abyssal moss takes root the deepest.

The Abyss Monster Servant Legion, composed of Grin and Misaka, encountered another massive army of Abyss Monsters.

After a brief encounter, the wizards from the three sides began exchanging intelligence maps. After marking one point after another on the maps, they bid farewell and began to continue clearing away the exposed defensive forces of the Flame Soul World in this region.

…………

Six months later.

After six months of continuous clearing of this land affected by the continental shockwave, an unimaginably massive Abyss Legion gathered in a place called Mount Jilong.

The vast and mighty Abyss Legion stretched as far as the eye could see, completely surrounding the entire Jilong Mountain, making the sky and the earth completely impenetrable.

In the sky and on the ground, there were abyssal legions everywhere, summoned and led by the will of the wizards. The further in you went, the more numerous and densely distributed they became, forming a wall-like structure.

On the mountaintop, no abyssal creatures dared to approach, and a terrifying pressure emanated from the eleven figures.

The Dark Realm Stigmata Wizard, the Enigma Stigmata Wizard, and the Bone Clock Tower Stigmata Wizard were not present. Twelve figures gathered here, but the reason there were eleven terrifying figures was because Grimm's aura was far too weak compared to the other wizards present.

The surrounding space continued to collapse, and the Black Tower Saint Mark Wizard gave a cold and cruel "hehehehe" laugh to the many wizards present.

"I presume everyone has already gotten used to the Abyss Summoning? Please submit your tips on Abyss Summoning. As for the final assault on the Primordial Locust God Kingdom, the last place in this world not yet possessed by the wizard's will, it's tentatively set for six years later..."

…………

Outside the hilltop, Solem, Vicky, Millie, and Cressia were unsure of their own feelings.

The dozen or so wizards within that small space, surrounded by countless abyssal monsters, were the true main force of this expedition to this world, the controllers who determined the progress of the mission.

It's no exaggeration to say that if the Flame Soul World could kill all ten or so wizards inside, it might really change the course of the world!

"What do you think the wizards inside are like?"

Millie suddenly asked this question, her eyes filled with longing.

"Hmph... Who wouldn't want to go in and take a look? Even just standing there and listening to those great wizards with holy marks discuss the progress of the world expedition would be an unparalleled honor."

Wikipedia's words were filled with sourness and jealousy.

Hundreds of years ago, when Wiki fought Green, Green was someone Green couldn't defeat. But now, things have changed, and he doesn't even have the right to stand with Green anymore.

"Hehe, a Level One Demon Hunter Honor Badge, attracting the attention of the very will of the wizarding world, truly a wonderful item that can elevate a demon hunter wizard to the top in one fell swoop..."

Cretia murmured enviously.
