Wizard's Journey

Chapter 595 Deterrence Clash

In the advanced elemental knowledge class of Nine-Headed Wrath, Green, as usual, brought Little Eight along to teach dozens of wizard apprentices under the lectern.

These wizard apprentices are all elite wizard apprentices cultivated by the academy with all its might. They have some unique insights into wizarding knowledge, and have begun to learn wizarding knowledge and modify it according to their own characteristics, rather than being low-level wizard apprentices who simply copy the basic theories.

Although he was tasked by Peranos with training wizard apprentices, Grimm's courses still required payment, and the fees were extremely high, costing each wizard apprentice ten magic stones per lesson.

In addition, the Wizard Tower will also give Green a basic quest reward of one thousand magic stones for each class.

This is the treatment a level two wizard should receive.

To become a Stigmata Wizard, the first task is to have sufficient resources to maintain the Wizard Tower Academy system. The expenses required for thousands of formal wizards and tens or hundreds of thousands of wizard apprentices every hundred years are no small amount.

"Leveraging higher-multiplier rules, the combination of elements or the structure of elements is the most basic skill and method mastered by wizards."

As he spoke, Green extended his index finger, and an ice bee appeared, its wings flapping at a high frequency, lifelike.

"Hehehe, you all better watch carefully, Eighth Master. Don't think you can ignore it just because ice element doesn't relate to the element type you're researching. Eighth Master has seen plenty of guys like you back in the day. Let me tell you, wizards..."

Green nudged the little dog aside, signaling it to shut up.

"This Ice Bee spell can manipulate the ice element rules by thirteen times. Some spells among formal wizards can even easily manipulate the element rules by twenty times. Therefore, this spell is not considered powerful, and can even be described as weak."

Below the platform sat a group of somewhat bewildered wizard apprentices, taking notes on the lessons with a mixture of understanding and confusion.

Green's course is different from other wizards' courses, a fact that has become clear to wizarding apprentices who have been keeping up with Green's course for almost a year.

As for what the difference is?

Other wizards teach the principles and knowledge of witchcraft, but what Professor Green teaches is wizarding knowledge, the method for wizards to pursue the truth!

Wizardry knowledge can enable ordinary people to become wizard apprentices, but wizardry knowledge is the ladder for wizard apprentices to become wizards. Lower-level wizard apprentices only feel like they are looking at flowers through a fog when listening to Grimm's courses, but for the most elite higher-level wizard apprentices, this is the elite wizard apprentice training model.

However, how many wizards can reach the level of pursuing truth like Grimm are arcane wizards?

How many people would be willing to teach these wizard apprentices and waste their time?

"However, this is only basic knowledge of elemental energy. The so-called basic means that it is easy to get started, but theoretically it has limited potential. After leveraging ten times the rules, it will be extremely difficult to optimize the structure of elemental magic. Wizards cannot rely on changing the structure of elements to leverage the power of endless rules."

With a "whoosh," another fireball ignited between Green's fingers. This was a basic sorcery that could manipulate the rules of five times the fire element.

"Besides altering the structure of elements, what we can do is optimize their properties. This is also fundamental knowledge for wizards to leverage the multipliers of elemental rules, such as compressing the fire power of this fireball spell!"

The fireball in Green's hand gradually shrank, beginning to be filled with an unstable explosive state.

This was an inspiration that Green briefly studied during his wizarding apprenticeship, specifically the "Fire Element Intensive Fire Shield Spell," but he did not pursue it in depth.

After the wizard apprentices had carefully observed and recorded everything, Green dispelled the Condensed Fireball spell, and with a flash of his hand, the Ram's Horned Nightmare Staff sprouted from his flesh.

Such a bizarre scene caused many wizarding apprentices in the audience to gasp in shock, thinking that it was an evil magic wand made from Grimm's own flesh and blood. Low-level wizarding apprentices always have all sorts of strange and wonderful fantasies about high-level wizards. Grimm was the same way. This is caused by the gap between appearance and truth.

"Witchcraft artifacts are also a method for wizards to leverage the elemental rules to amplify their abilities. The principle is consistent with the essence of leveraging rules through knowledge. In addition to the knowledge of runes and magic circles, earning magic stones and resources is also a manifestation of wisdom."

Beneath Green's greyish-white face of truth, a mocking and sarcastic glint appeared in his eyes.

"Disdainful? Hmph, if you possess enough wealth, the wizards you employ will be your most powerful magic wands!"

hiss……

Several wizard apprentices who heard Green's "outlandish and absurd remarks" were clearly frightened by Green.

Hired wizards?

This is unimaginable for wizard apprentices who live off dozens or hundreds of magic stones, but if they have enough magic stones to transform into wizard spirits, it all seems to make perfect sense.

After a long silence in the classroom, Green suddenly chuckled softly again.

"Of course, these are all superficial powers. They might make you appear stronger, but compared to the true power that wizards seek, they are insignificant!"

With a mysterious, deep voice emanating from beneath the Grimm's Mask of Truth, crackling sounds filled the air as a bolt of lightning flashed between the two ram's horns of the Ram's Horned Skull Magic Wand. As the clash of ice and fire elements created a destructive force, carried by the lightning rules of the World Garment, the light in the entire classroom began to distort, pulling towards the black lightning from all directions.

Behind the distorted light where light and shadow intertwine, the cold eyes beneath the face of truth gaze upon the wizarding apprentices in the classroom, who are already stunned by this breathtaking natural phenomenon. Green is like a gazing down from the highest point of truth.

"This is the true power that elemental wizards seek—the power of the essence of higher rules!"

Most of the dozens of wizard apprentices were stunned. Some trembled and were almost out of breath, while a few were filled with longing and anticipation, as if they could see the wizarding path on the tower.

"tutor!"

"Ah, mentor..."

The expressions of the several eager wizard apprentices suddenly changed drastically, and two of them even shouted, as if something unbelievable had happened.

Beneath the mask of truth, Grimm's eyes slanted backward, keenly sensing a slight disturbance.

"An unknown, illusory world?"

The elemental rune notes recorded on the blackboard behind him twisted on their own, forming the face of a gaunt old wizard. A dark, withered claw, seemingly about to reach out from the blackboard, attacked Green's back.

Crackling sounds!

The black arc of electricity flashed and disappeared in an instant, and the entire blackboard vanished. The wizard tower was destroyed by Grimm's super-powerful attack, triggering the magic circle alarm. A large number of guard puppets, academy guardians, and arcane wizards rushed over.

"You have become my prey. You will fully experience the fear before death. Tremble, flee, heh heh heh heh heh heh heh..."

A hoarse, deep voice emanated from the void, sending chills down the spines of almost every wizard apprentice, leaving them drenched in cold sweat.

Green stood motionless on the high platform and sneered, "Hmph, if you have the guts to show yourself, then come on over. Your fate will be the same as those two Hermits."
