Wizard's Journey

Chapter 604 Unbridled and Unrestrained

Chapter 604 Unbridled Recklessness (Part 4)

Before the witch died, only two thoughts remained.

Is this really the strength of a level two wizard? Am I too weak to even last such a short time?

Couldn't my two seniors, Putton and Kinleygri, have been any faster...?

Tens of kilometers away.

"Oh? A strange level two wizard has appeared over at Youlin's place. She just asked me to call you two senior brothers to go and provide support. Hehe, hurry up and go. Your junior sister's safety is the most important thing. We can't let anything happen to her during the academy war. Idlin's matter is not urgent. We can put it off for now."

The white-bearded old wizard was only half a meter tall, a deformed dwarf, and he was speaking to two of the dozen or so wizards behind him who were second-level wizards.

This was actually a level three archmage, the dean of the Shadow Thousand Eyes Wizarding Academy.

"Mentor, where are my junior sister's coordinates? I'm coming over right now."

Upon hearing that Junior Sister Youlin was requesting support, Puton, who doted on his junior sister the most, couldn't help but show a hint of anxiety and involuntarily tugged at his own hair.

Beside Putton, Kinley shook his head in disappointment.

"Hmph! Fine, we'll talk about Idlin later. A mere second-level arcane wizard, thinking he's all that and has some tricks up his sleeve, trying to break the academy rules to become the dean—how utterly ridiculous and ignorant!"

With a cold laugh, Gingris took to the air and flew away, activating his Wizard's Shield, clearly revealing the mark of his Level 3 Honor Badge.

"This is a Level 3 Honorary Rank. Only wizards who haven't practiced the Wizard's Shield after activating it can sense it. Let's see if we can scare that annoying wizard away and save some time. Hmph, I really want to go over there right now and teach that guy named Idlin a lesson. How dare he threaten our mentor to become the academy's dean with his Level 2 wizard status? He's overestimating himself!"

Kingsley's indifference made Putton sigh.

"Sixth Junior Brother, that Idlin is indeed terrifying. He is extremely powerful. None of the 128 Level 2 Wizards in the academy are his match. Even Level 3 Arch Wizards have a lot of trouble with his various mysterious and strange witchcraft. Be careful."

Putton spoke in a low voice, clearly indicating that Idlin's strength had been imprinted in his mind, making him somewhat uneasy about his sixth junior brother who had just returned from an alien demon-hunting expedition from the Sixth Ring Holy Tower.

"Hmph, one hundred and twenty-eight arcane wizards? If he had seen the scene of millions of terrifying alien creatures attacking so easily during the Demon Hunting Expedition, he would know how insignificant he was. Even I am just a pawn in the Demon Hunting Expedition, and he... hmph, is just a machine for a wizarding world that is narrow-minded and only good at cultivating the next generation of demon hunter wizards."

Kinley's words really made Putton uncomfortable.

When Kinleyri satirized Iglin, didn't he also satirize himself, and even his mentor, without realizing it?

I wonder if the harsh realities of his years of demon-hunting expeditions have made him start to neglect some social rules.

Putton forced a smile and said, "Haha, in short, junior brother should just be careful not to overdo it and make him back down. After all, he is fighting for the academy, and although his obsession is a bit strange, it's not a big deal."

"Don't worry, we've arrived at the coordinates the mentor gave us. Let's see if Youlin is nearby..."

"Ah! That...that's...Youlin!!"

Upon discovering Youlin's head and the shouting emanating from him, Putton yelled. Jin Leigri, standing nearby, froze for a few seconds before his body suddenly blazed like fire, roaring to the sky, "Whoever it is, I'll kill you!"

…………

Green's side.

"Run! It's terrifying! This monster is impossible to defeat!"

In a short moment, only three first-level arcane wizards remained after being slaughtered by Green. No one could withstand Green's attacks for even a single round, and no one could pose even the slightest threat to Green. Absolutely none!

The remaining three wizards screamed and fled into the distance. The irresistible slaughter was like a nightmare, chilling everyone to the bone.

The mutated magnetic field mutated and split a wizard, but Green coldly watched the three fleeing wizards and did not pursue them.

He was only a level one wizard, yet he was already so frightened that he fled the battlefield. It would be pointless to chase him to death. In comparison, there were still more than ten battles on this battlefield waiting for Green to turn the tide.

While Green might not have the power to reverse the entire Academy War, he was confident he could change the situation in this battleground outside of the Nine-Headed Wrath Academy.

"Master Grimm..."

The three first-level wizards of the Nine-Headed Wrath Academy, who had been rescued by Grimm, lacked the ability to teleport with elements. They arrived late, having traversed hundreds of meters, and watched in horror as Grimm utterly shattered the battlefield. The three wizards felt a chill run down their spines.

Even among the wizards on their own side, the three wizards felt a chilling fear within them.

Is this the Demon Hunter Dark Wizard who stood atop mountains of corpses and seas of blood, and who once changed the course of a world war?

It was indeed as powerful as a monster!

Ordinary level one arcane wizards are nothing more than lambs to the slaughter in front of him, utterly powerless to fight back.

Perhaps, in the eyes of this terrifying demon hunter wizard, these arcane wizards are no different from the countless alien creatures that have been killed at will in other worlds.

"The three of you go and provide support over there. Rescue those wizards; you absolutely cannot let them escape this battlefield alone!"

Green gave the three low-level wizards orders.

"Yes, Master Green."

The three wizards hurriedly followed Green's instructions and flew towards a battlefield thousands of meters away in the sky, while Green, after a spatial distortion, appeared in another relatively distant part of this battlefield.

"Gah gah, it's my young master here, Izema!"

It turns out that when Green first arrived at this battlefield, he detected Izema's presence, so he sent Hachi to search for it and locate its spatial coordinates.

Izema was surrounded by more than ten guardians of the Two-Headed Serpent Academy and accompanied by three first-level wizards, but he was being driven back by two second-level wizards from the opposing side, and it seemed that he had already lost a lot of the guardians of the Two-Headed Serpent Academy.

"Green!"

Izema looked at Green with excitement. Although he was unwilling to admit Green's power, he knew that he was on a completely different level from himself. Green was an incredibly terrifying second-level wizard.

At this moment, having such a terrifying wizard as an ally is obviously a relief.

On the other side, the white-haired old witch with a thousand eyes in shadow, upon seeing Green, suddenly took out a crystal ball and said calmly, "Here."

Almost simultaneously, the distant sky resembled a fiery cloud, accompanied by a violent, rumbling flame. A figure, seemingly a burning fire spirit, charged forward aggressively, its deep, angry roar like a volcanic eruption, radiating an intense hatred that seemed intent on annihilating the Nine-Headed Wrathful Enemy. The wizard's Level 3 Honor Badge shone brightly.

"King Leggeri, wait for me! Don't be impulsive!"

Putton shouted from behind.

"Gah, young master, what's going on? It looks like they're coming for you?"

Amidst Hachi's questioning voice from his shoulder, Grimm's cold eyes beneath his mask of truth glanced indifferently at the fireball.

The fireball, which was almost at its peak, suddenly stopped with a "whoosh" when it was about 300 meters away from Green. After a few seconds of silence, the wizard in the fireball suddenly let out a hoarse shriek, as if he had discovered something extremely terrifying and unbelievable.

"This...this is...ah! Run! Otherwise...we'll all die!"
