Wizard's Journey

Chapter 682 First Signs of Fame

time flies.

Besides focusing on their own rankings, the greatest pleasure for the demon hunters participating in the Seven Rings Holy Tower Ranking is to collect intelligence and information, exchange and understand each other, locate each other, try to make a name for themselves and obtain the title of demon hunter, and guess the strength rankings among the top three in the Seven Rings Holy Tower Ranking.

With only one month left until the end of the Seven Rings Tower Rankings, it's impossible for Green to have a third challenger.

The reason is simple: Yazhi and the third-ranked Demon Hunter Wizard on the Seven Rings Holy Tower list have been "fighting" in the world fragments for years, but still no winner has emerged!

In this way, even if the witcher who challenged Yazhi wins and gets second place, there is no way he can wait for the two witchers who are ranked third to accumulate three victories each before challenging her and accumulating three winning opportunities to challenge Green.

Many of the demon hunters ranked between fourth and one hundredth were anxious and furious!

The third-ranked Demon Hunter Wizard has been in the World Fragment for several years. The fierce competition that should have started during the final hundred years of the Seven Rings Holy Tower Ranking has turned out to be a scene of endless struggle between the third and second place.

At the top of the Tree of Life, Green naturally knew all this, but he didn't pay much attention to it.

It seems that Ya Zhi is at a disadvantage and cannot defeat her opponent. However, her opponent cannot easily defeat her after finding her whereabouts like Green did. This has led to the current protracted battle.

Neither side can afford to lose!

Now, Green's Demon Hunter Castle has begun to see frequent visits from unfamiliar wizards.

Among these wizards, some were level-two demon hunter wizards residing on the Tree of Life, all from not far from the demon hunter castle where Grimm was located; the others were wizards from various families in the central region of the Seven Rings Holy Tower.

There's no need to elaborate on the Zijingxiang family. They simply prepared a generous gift of a hundred witch essences for Green and then left without further interaction. Green had already signed a Seven-Ring Holy Tower contract with them during his wizard apprenticeship, becoming a nominal elder of their family.

Among the remaining families visited was the Isabella family, to which Amrund and Isabella belonged.

The Issa family delivered a personal letter from Amrund, expressing their desire for closer cooperation with Green, congratulating Green on achieving first place on the Seven Rings Saint List, and inviting Green to become an elder of the Issa family...

More than a hundred families, large and small, came. Green spent almost every day dealing with these matters. Among them were some powerful families with deep roots. Even Green dared not deal with them casually and had to receive them according to proper wizarding etiquette, which wasted a lot of time.

This was truly a torment for Green, who was rushing to complete the fifth phase of the Truth Project.

It is evident that joining a certain power, while bringing the convenience of acquiring resources, inevitably brings various problems, diverting the wizard's energy and making it impossible to concentrate fully on wizarding knowledge research as a low-level wizard.

"Young Master!"

Xiao Ba's shouts rang out, causing Green, who had just politely declined the invitation from Wiki's family, to frown, irritated, and impatiently say, "Who is it this time? Can't we just turn it down?"

"Hahaha, I'm afraid not, it's Solum and the former Blacksota Wizarding Academy!"

Upon hearing about the Black Tower Wizarding Academy, Grimm couldn't help but rub his temples. After the Black Tower Stigmata Wizard perished in the Infernal Furnace of the King of the Infernal Giants of Ebadon, the Black Tower Wizarding Academy was taken over by a Stigmata Wizard under the Seven Rings Holy Tower, and the name of the academy was changed accordingly. It was no longer the Black Tower Wizarding Academy it once was.

But the bond between Green and the Black Tower Wizarding Academy was undeniable, and the new headmaster actually used this to try and persuade him.

It seems that this new academy has indeed declined. The former Black Tower Academy was a terrifying dark wizard academy that many light wizard academies feared. Even the original light wizard destiny of Grimm was unintentionally snatched away by Black Tower Academy.

And this time, Sonam himself is coming...

"Then let's meet."

With a sigh, Green began to instruct Raab to prepare a new banquet.

"It really was him!"

The wizarding academy dean who accompanied Solem was none other than the Maskless Nilsmazar, a level three arcane wizard who had become the dean of the new academy and had come to visit Grimm in person.

A flat, featureless face, a black raven on his shoulder exuding an ominous aura, and a hoarse voice like a parrot mimicking the words of a wizard—he was once a cruel wizard who conducted bloody eliminations on a sea liner.

From the perspective of a level three archmage, Green realized that his survival was probably due to the cruel wizard's whim.

Otherwise, the real outcome would probably be like what that old witch on a broomstick said when the ship just arrived at the port of the Black Tower Wizarding Academy: there would be no need to care about Green and his "inferior" wizarding apprentices who had a very small chance of qualifying for the Holy Tower, and they would just be left to fend for themselves at sea.

The basic knowledge of Grimm's Face of Truth ultrasonic positioning and detection magic also comes from this famous sonic wizard of the Black Tower Wizarding Academy.

At this point, Neilmazar was no longer someone Green had to look up to; in fact, Green needed to personally visit him, accompanied by his disciple, just to get a glimpse of him.

"Green, your mentor saw you today hoping that you can..."

Solem acted as an intermediary, while Green, with dozens of experiences dealing with such situations, began his unfinished journey of rejection once again.

……

I had just politely declined and seen off Nilmazar and Soram when Xiao Ba flew over again!

Even the ceremonial tableware on the table hadn't been changed or washed yet.

"Who is it this time? Can't we just turn them down?"

Xiao Ba stuck out his tongue and said, "He's a Saint-Stigma Wizard, a Saint-Stigma Wizard with a demon-hunting record! Young Master, are you sure you won't see him?"

It's another Demon Hunter Chronicles...

Because of Raffi's death, the wizarding organization that Green had previously refused to join has now come to invite him for the third time, and this time a Stigmata Wizard has actually come!

However, Green was no longer a low-level wizard, and the Demon Hunter Record could no longer bring him any benefits. Joining the Demon Hunter Record only gave Green an additional identity and some additional obligations.

But if a Stigmata Wizard comes, it would be too much of a hassle for Grimm not to even see him; that would be utterly unreasonable.

"Labu, use the highest level of wizarding etiquette..."

……

Green felt utterly disgusted by the repeated meetings.

Once, Senior Sister Youquan also experienced something like this.

No, judging from the mentor's descriptions, Senior Sister Youquan was probably even more exaggerated than I am now. After all, there weren't any amazing experts on the Seven Rings Holy Tower Ranking this year. The only people I could attract attention from were the Seven Rings Holy Tower families and forces related to me.

In their eyes, Green was just an ordinary first-place winner in the once-in-a-century competition for the Seven Rings of the Holy Tower.

Of course, the Medal of Honor First Class still brought Green a lot of attention.

"Gah gah gah, young master, young master, this is incredible! Even Millie, Mina, and their father and mother have come!"
