Wizard's Journey

Chapter 781 Farewell and Summoning

Chapter 781 Farewell and Summoning

Inside the Nine-Headed Wrathful Hall.

The four members of the Netherworld Heart Saint Mark Wizard, the Nine-Headed Wrath Saint Mark Wizard, Peranos, and Wu Tong sat side by side, along with Varo, Gahei, and Alice...

Youquan sat down next to Peranos, and Green bowed to the several Saint Mark Wizards and more than ten Level 3 Arch Wizards in the hall. These Level 3 Arch Wizards were either Peranos's friends or other disciples of his uncles and uncles. They returned Green's bows and looked surprised as they sensed the powerful force contained within Green.

Two of them caught Green's attention: they were the former deans of the 78th and 80th floors of the Black Tower.

The oppressive aura of a level three archmage emanating from Green was being fully contracted within his body beneath the seven-colored runes. Even the Nine-Headed Wrath Saint Mark Wizard and the Netherworld Heart Saint Mark Wizard couldn't help but stare at him for a few more moments. The two archmages who had long served as the deans of the Black Tower Wizard Academy naturally knew what this meant.

Clearly, Green now possesses power comparable to, or even surpassing, that of the former Level 3 Archmage, Youquan, yet he has not achieved the same widespread fame in the wizarding world as Youquan once did.

Now, with the war of civilizations imminent, although the Holy Tower rules have not yet issued a critical war alert, some conflicts between academies should have subsided.

Inadvertently, the status of a great wizard like Green was diminished by the rules.

Finally, Grimm's gaze fell between Youquan and Alice, and on the aged and weak mentor Peranos. Gahei in his arms was no longer the same as before, looking as thin as a rake, lying motionless in Peranos's arms, like an oil lamp about to go out. When he saw Grimm enter, he did not say a word, and then weakly closed his eyes again.

"Hehehe, Green, come here."

Peranos saw Green and smiled with satisfaction, waving to him. Green quickly walked over to Peranos, bowed, and whispered in his ear.

"tutor."

Green's voice was low and slightly choked as he sensed the faint glow of Peranos's soul fire, knowing that his mentor, as Senior Sister Youquan had said, did not have another year or two left.

Peranos gently stroked Green's cheek with his withered hand, his gentle gaze as if he were looking at his own son.

"Although I left no bloodline, I left my will."

Green looked at Peranos's cloudy eyes, forced a smile, and nodded repeatedly. At Peranos's prompting, he sat down next to his second senior brother, Varo. Varo had already advanced to the second level of wizard, but he looked incredibly old, with a white goatee that was nearly a foot long. He nodded to Green.

"Oh dear, this black cat has turned into this. I'm too lazy to argue with it anymore."

On Green's shoulder, Xiao Ba looked at Gahei, who was panting heavily in Peranos's arms, and sighed.

Visitors came in droves. Peranos introduced Grimm to several unfamiliar Stigmata Wizards and some Level 3 Archmages. The Faceless Mask Nilmazar also came to see them off.

Many others left as well, and a month later, even the Netherworld Heart Saint Mark Wizard and the Nine-Headed Wrath Saint Mark Wizard had departed.

Peranos called Youquan, Varo, and Green over separately.

"Actually, besides the three of you and Vivian, I have taken on two other disciples. One of them was before Youquan, but unfortunately he was unable to advance to become a formal wizard. The other was in the same period as Youquan. He had more outstanding talent than you, but he also failed to advance to become a formal wizard."

Peranos actually said such a thing.

"Fortunately, I have the three of you, and I am already very content. Your future disciples must remember to carry on the will of our lineage of wizards and uphold the civilization of the wizarding world!"

As he spoke, Peranos took out a bloodstone, a quill pen, and a bracelet.

The Bloodstone was given to Youquan, seemingly a natural treasure for bodily regeneration. After Peranos whispered something in Youquan's ear, Youquan solemnly accepted the Bloodstone with both hands and quietly nodded.

Then Peranos handed the quill to Green.

"This quill pen is an ancient magical artifact given to me by the Black Sota Saint Mark Wizard. I have kept it with me all these years, unwilling to part with it. Now I give it to you as my legacy. From now on, any magical runes drawn with this quill pen will have a certain degree of enhancement in the power of the elemental rules."

Placing the quill in Grimm's hand, Peranos said in a deep voice, "Promise me that your wizard tower will one day be built on the Wizarding Continent, and that you, as an elemental wizard, will pass on your will!"

Greene also solemnly accepted the quill pen and quietly nodded.

Finally, Peranos handed the bracelet to Varo, and after giving him some more instructions, Varo nodded.

With a satisfied and carefree smile, Peranos slowly rose, leaning on his magic staff. He gently embraced his wife Alice, with whom he had shared many years of life's hardships. He knelt down, picked up Gahei from the ground, turned around, and walked away into the distance without looking back.

Like Vivian, Peranos chose to spend his final moments in the wizarding world.

Youquan, Varo, and Green stared until Peranos completely disappeared. Youquan sighed and said softly, "My mentor hopes that I can survive in this war of civilizations by all means possible."

Varo put on the bracelet and said in a low voice, "This is a spatial magical artifact that my mentor bought with all his wealth. He hopes that I can become a mentor, or even the dean, of the wizarding academy that Green establishes in the future."

Green put the quill away and glanced at Varo.

"My mentor only wants me to represent the will of the elemental wizards and establish the Wizard Tower on the Wizarding Continent. That's all."

"well……"

Youquan patted Green on the shoulder and left without looking back.

"Although my mentor is proud of me, he ultimately chose you to carry on his will. Advance your Saint Mark as soon as possible and strive to leave your own legend in this war of civilizations. After 1,500 hourglasses, come to the First Ring Holy Tower. I will introduce you to several Saint Mark Wizards who will carry out the assault and destruction mission together."

"understood."

Green nodded.

Fifteen hundred hourglasses represent more than three years. Those who can participate in the destruction mission with Senior Sister Youquan must all be renowned high-level Saint Mark Wizards.

After Youquan left, Grin and Varo turned around and looked at Alice, who was all alone in the main hall. Just as they were about to say something, Grin's expression suddenly changed, and he tightly held onto the Mask of Truth.

"What's wrong?"

Varo stopped and asked.

"Damn it, an academy war has to start at a time like this!?"

Once, in Sky City, in order to obtain the most perfect microscopic eye of the sixth phase of the Project of Truth, Grimm signed a fate contract with the Stigmata Wizard of the Heart of the Fortress, helping his prized disciple, the Stigmata Wizard of Superconducting Light, to guard the source of magic power, otherwise the price would be the destruction of this Face of Truth.

Unexpectedly, just as the world was on the verge of preparing for the Third Civilization War, an academy war broke out.

At a time like this!

Suppressing his anger and rage, Green hurriedly bid farewell to Alice, Ivan, Cappuccino, and Varo, temporarily resisting the summoning of the source of superconducting light magic, and used the Nine-Headed Wrath Wizard Tower teleportation array to arrive at the Seventh Ring Holy Tower.

Huff, huff, huff, the enormous shadow of the Mysterious Thousand-Headed Bird descended upon a demon-hunting castle atop the Tree of Life.

"Master, this is your boundless guiding light!"

The wizard, who specializes in researching and breaking the personal magical restrictions on magical artifacts, delivered the oil lamp that Grimm had exchanged with Peacock Feather Tajiberi in the ancient sealed space deep underground, using the Phantom Ring, thus completing the contract.

"The Boundless Lamp! An ancient magical artifact specifically designed to break through restrictions and constraints?"

After receiving the Boundless Lamp, Greene briefly observed it, then nodded to the level two wizard opposite him, no longer resisting the summoning of the Wizard Tower's magic source by the Superconducting Light above his head.

As more and more superconducting light magic found its target and gathered on Grimm, a faint portal to spacetime opened, and Grimm rushed in quickly.

"Hmm? This feeling..."

On the Superconducting Light Wizard Tower teleportation array, Green was still in a dazed state from forcibly traversing time and space.

Faintly, violent tremors, roars, and vibrations of elemental magic could be heard. Even the source of magic that summoned Grin showed signs of instability, seemingly having activated the phantom protection of the wizard tower's source of magic, which was rapidly depleting its magic reserves.

What surprised Green was how those world wills gathered together.

Several Stigmata Wizards have descended upon the wizarding world?

impossible!

Could it be that these fluctuations in the world's will are all caused by the will fluctuations of a Grand Wizard with a First-Class Honor Medal?
