Chapter 128 An Unknown Civilization Stirs Up

For a moment, Lu Shang felt he had been cheated after learning the principles behind observation technologies beyond the universe.

"Lu Shang, we've finally found the location of the brains of those plasma-state beings!" The mastermind, Rabi, excitedly informed Lu Shang through the swarm network.

"Really? Where is it?" Lu Shang asked hurriedly.

He knew about plasma life forms; these native creatures of the G universe were really just a mass of plasma, without internal organs, without a brain, and even the source of their psionic energy was uncertain.

Now that the rabbi said he had found it, Lu Shang's curiosity was piqued.

The rabbi replied, "Just as psychic perception suggests, it is distributed throughout their entire bodies."

"Their brains are structured as a network of quantum entangled particles that do not exist in the main universe and are located in atomic orbits."

Lu Shang was stunned. He could understand each word Rabbi said individually, but he couldn't understand them when they were put together.

What is a quantum entangled network brain?

Lu Shang said, "Wait a minute, explain yourself clearly. I don't understand. What is a network-based brain?"

Rabbi thought for a moment, then countered with a question to Lu Shang: "In the main universe, most natural organisms' brains are connected by chemical bonds, you know that, right?"

"Yes." Lu Shang nodded.

Molecular chemical bonds, such as base pairs, DNA, RNA, and amino acids, are all included in this category. They were covered in biology textbooks before, so Lu Shang thinks they are not difficult to understand.

Having confirmed that Lu Shang understood these concepts, Rabbi continued, "Then, what if we replaced all the molecular chemical bonds with quantum entanglement between unknown particles?"

Lu Shang fell silent.

After a simple shift in perspective, he suddenly understood why plasma-state life had been so difficult to comprehend before.

The problem lies here: the particles that make up the brains of plasma-state organisms are connected through quantum entanglement, not through molecular or atomic bonds!

Therefore, it doesn't matter if all the particles of a plasma organism exhibit random Brownian motion, because in a quantum entangled network, the position changes are actually not significant!

From the perspective of the bee colony, these plasma-state organisms appear to be moving particles without any rules or patterns. However, from the perspective of other plasma-state organisms, they operate according to their own set of regular patterns.

The mastermind, Rabbi, said, "This is why these plasma-state beings in the G universe, despite their bodies exhibiting irregular motion, still possess the ability to think. No matter where the particles that make up their bodies move, their positions within this network-like brain do not change significantly, allowing them to operate in a regular manner."

Lu Shang understood the principle.

The question is, can the bee swarm utilize such a psionic brain?

This is nothing like the biological brains of the past. No matter how outlandish those biological brains were, they were still made of molecular matter.

Now, it exists directly in the form of a network.

Lu Shang asked, "Can this kind of network-based brain you're describing be absorbed by a bee swarm?"

The rabbi had already thought of a solution.

"This problem isn't difficult; we just need to replace the quantum entanglement with chemical bonds."

If quantum entanglement can lead to interaction, does that mean chemical bonds cannot?

The brain is still the same brain, only its mode of existence has changed to a more regular and rational one, as seen from the perspective of a bee colony.

The rabbi thought for a moment and then added, "Of course, this is only theoretically plausible; whether it will work in practice remains to be seen."

However, this frantic expansion has not yielded much benefit. The highest level of psionic life discovered so far are the plasma-state life forms captured when they first entered the G universe.

The psionic energy is generally around level 30 or 40, with a very small number of individuals reaching level 50. The Glorious Saint that Lu Shang commanded the planetary creatures to beat up was one of these rare exceptions.

During their subsequent expansion, the swarm discovered that, apart from plasma-state creatures, the highest level of psionic beings in each plane was only level twenty-three.

Since the network-type brain of plasma-state organisms has not yet been fully analyzed, the bee swarm can currently only use the level 23 psionic brain.

Just as Lu Shang was pondering whether he should expand the G universe in a faster and more efficient way, a group of uninvited guests arrived.

The initial contact between the two parties was not particularly explosive.
