A Colossus rushes in at the start

Chapter 16 Planetary Creatures Are Too Overwhelming

"The only regret is that the enemy has the ability to distinguish these infected aliens. If the enemy couldn't distinguish them, it would be perfect, and we would be naturally invincible in terms of intelligence."

If the Star River Alliance didn't have the ability to detect infected individuals, then Lu Shang would be in an absolutely invincible position in the intelligence war. Every time Lu Shang thought of this, he felt very regretful.

"I see," the individual bee in the swarm realized.

Good news kept coming. Just after finishing training his own bee colony, a message from bee colonies in other places brought Lu Shang even more joy.

"Mastermind, we have completed the celestial structure you asked us to design."

"So fast?!" Lu Shang exclaimed in surprise.

An individual bee explained, "The whole thing isn't complicated; much of it is just the existing biological design of the bee colony. We're just combining these design concepts together."

"What are the specific results?" Lu Shang pressed.

An individual member of the swarm replied, "It still needs to be tested in practice, but preliminary estimates suggest that the carrying capacity of these planetary organisms can at least expand the psionic brain to a scale of five million."

Due to the planet's geological structure, expanding to 500,000 psionic brains is already the limit. Digging deeper into the caves would not only easily lead to the collapse of the Earth's crustal plates, but the pressure and temperature would also be unsuitable for the psionic brains to maintain their activity.

Therefore, several months ago, Lu Shang ordered the bee swarm to design a planetary structure that could maximize the capacity to accommodate psionic brains.

And now the results are in.

Upon hearing the scale of five million psionic brains, Lu Shang's breathing became rapid.

"How can we guarantee the strength? How can we guarantee it won't collapse?" Lu Shang pressed.

An individual member of the swarm explained: "We considered using psionic energy to counteract the gravitational pressure of celestial bodies, but that would waste some of the psionic energy. So we adopted a structure that combines skeletal cavities with organic fluids to support the crust. The planet's gravity is no longer a problem; instead, it combines with the crust to become a natural gravitational armor for planetary life."

"Even without psionic energy, as long as it's not a Colossus-level attack, none of the Star Alliance's existing weapons pose any threat to it."

Lu Shang couldn't wait any longer; he immediately ordered, "Execute the celestial-level incubation immediately!"

"OK."

In a yellow dwarf star system located in the Bogu Nebula, a swarm of Behemoths, which had been waiting in orbit for a long time, released a large number of bee-like creatures toward a solid planet with a volume equivalent to 1.3 times that of Earth.

The bio-sacs carrying the worker bees fall to the ground like rain, and the worker bees quickly incubate the hives on the spot. Then, a large number of long, thin bee swarms burrow into the ground, all the way to the Earth's core.

Then these organisms stimulated their intestines to transport large amounts of solid hydrogen and solid oxygen from the surface into the Earth's core. The low temperature temporarily removed the planet's core, and the swarm of bees continued to expand space near the core while lowering the temperature.

Large amounts of solid hydrogen and solid oxygen turn into gas after absorbing heat, and then combine to form water molecules in a high temperature and high pressure environment.

With water, many things become simpler, because water carries heat to the surface, while cooled water sinks.

Using water as the medium for temperature circulation, psionic energy is used to accelerate the flow of water and bring the temperature to the surface. The temperature of the Earth's core will be rapidly cooled, eventually turning it into a lump of solid iron.

The planet's original magnetic field disappeared, replaced by a vast amount of organic swamp covering the surface. Long, slender bee swarms, like blood vessels, crisscrossed the entire planet, creating an intricate network. They then transported warm organic solutions to maintain a suitable temperature for the bee swarms to move around in the countless excavated cavities.

It shares the same template as Nest Star, but unlike Nest Star, its geological structure is largely replaced by a skeletal organism of the swarm species. These organisms devour the planet by simultaneously consuming its crustal material and replacing it with their own.

When the psionic brain, organic solution, skeletal creatures, tubular creatures... all the swarm creatures gradually merge into one, like anglerfish, by connecting together.

Planetary life has been born!

……

Boschken, the capital of the Diaz Empire.

To ensure that the administrative center of the Dias Empire was not captured, the Dias Empire's high command deployed more than one hundred fully-equipped imperial fleets in this star system.

This is the empire's strongest military force to date, known to outsiders as an "impregnable fortress".

On this day, the patrolling fleet detected an incomprehensible gravitational wave, and then a nest star covered in swamps suddenly appeared only tens of thousands of kilometers away from them.

Immediately afterward, the fleet commander heard a report from his subordinate: "An extremely strong psionic signal has been detected! Far exceeding all previous Alliance records of swarm psionic units! Surpassing even the Void Gods!"

"Look! Those are eyes!"

It was unclear who spoke from the bridge, but the fleet commander looked toward the projection and saw that many eyes had opened on this swampy, beehive-like planet, each eye no smaller than a continental planet.

This bizarre scene truly shocked the minds of the Imperial soldiers in the fleet.

"What are you all waiting for? Attack! Attack! Destroy it now!"

The fleet commander, who was the first to react, gave an order and immediately requested assistance from other fleets within the Star System. And then... that was the end of it.

Except for a few fleets that were aware of their own severe lack of strength and managed to escape, more than a billion warships were crushed into a metal ball and floated in space.

"Tch, still no use, just like before."

"It's so weak that it doesn't even meet the purpose of testing the limits."

Lu Shang curled his lip in disdain. He had originally come to test the power of the planetary creatures, but before he could even unleash their full power, the enemy was wiped out.

It's like using cheat codes to slaughter other players; it's really not exciting.

Lu Shang, using the eyes of the planetary creatures, glanced at the Dias people's home planet and had an idea.

"Got it."

Lu Shang ordered, "Go, go and dismantle that star."

"OK."

The planetary creature responded and, in the blink of an eye, arrived near the star.

Its spacetime bubble is extremely stable, allowing it to directly teleport to a location very close to a star, and it can deflect high-energy particles from the star with its psionic energy, enabling it to exist near the star for a long time.

With a simple activation of psionic energy, a pillar of fire rose from the surface of the star, with a large amount of stellar matter surging out and then dispersing at the end, as if a towering fire tree had grown from a boundless sea of fire, with each leaf on the fire tree being the size of Australia.

Lu Shang tried a few more times and found that, apart from mining stellar matter, planetary life forms could do much less.

At least one of them couldn't tear the star apart directly.

"It seems this is the limit, but I'm still quite satisfied with my abilities," Lu Shang murmured.

Subsequently, Lu Shang ordered the planetary lifeforms: "Extract stellar matter directly on-site and hatch their own kind."

"Okay," the planetary creature replied.
