Chapter 342 This Outer God is Too Approachable

Chapter 342 This Outer God is Too Approachable

Unrest is raging across the homeworld of the Pulan people, and even the once-powerful Central Court has been visited by an uninvited guest.

"Sheriff Steel, these are dangerous times. What have you done to deserve this?"

Stiyl was bound hand and foot by the men of the Central Court, tied to a large iron pillar standing in the square with layers upon layers of thick chains.

If it weren't for the fact that there wasn't a pile of firewood at Stiyl's feet at this moment, it would be hard not to think of the now-obsolete practice of burning at the stake.

To ordinary people, Stiyl looks no different from any other Plandian, but he is surrounded by a distorted light, similar to an event horizon. However, to the Central Court's divine speakers, Stiyl is a completely different person. Beneath his harmless appearance, something terrifying seems to lurk, to the point that anything that can be manipulated by divine speech emits signals of terror upon contact with him.

Even more strangely, the Central Court discovered that the divine words were no longer effective against Stiyl.

"I don't know. I found myself like this after I regained consciousness," Steele said with a bitter smile.

Originally, the physical recovery should have been a joyous occasion, but the inexplicable new changes in his body extinguished Stiyl's initial happiness.

Completely unaware of what was happening to his body, coupled with his experience of the apocalypse and the strange celestial bodies still floating in the sky, Stiyl's fear of the unknown prompted him to seek out the Central Court to find out what was going on with him.

The Central Court was full of arrogant people. After learning about Stiyl's situation through the communicator, they were still very proud and said, "Why would you come to us for such a trivial matter?" But when Stiyl arrived at the Central Court, all the prophetists in the stronghold were so frightened by the indescribable and bizarre strangeness that transcended divine words that they fled en masse.

Of the Prophets in this stronghold, only the two that Stiyl had contacted remain; the others from the Central Court that Stiyl hadn't contacted have all gone far away.

The two prophetists who had been in contact with Stiyl were also suffering in silence. Even though Stiyl obediently cooperated with them and was tied to the large iron pillar, they felt as if they were standing in front of an indescribable Outer God, without any sense of security.

"Besides that, are there any other feelings?"

"Stiyl, tell us everything you know, don't hide anything, so that we can help you."

Hearing the two prophet's words, Stiyl, who was tied to the large iron pillar, carefully sensed it and replied, "I don't feel anything else, but I can faintly hear a voice, and it feels like someone is calling me."

call?

The two prophetes looked at each other, and finally something appeared that matched their understanding.

Generally speaking, if someone feels like someone is talking even though no one is speaking, then either they have a problem with their brain or they have been chosen by God.

The true God exerts power through words, also known as divine speech. Therefore, when one is chosen as a messenger of God, one will hear the indescribable whispers of that true God.

But then another question arises: which deity chose Stiyl?

"Chaos fears him; this is a power we have never seen before," said a prophet.

Divine words can only command all things, not instill fear in them. Furthermore, they issue warning signals to those who speak divine words, which is beyond their comprehension.

Could it be that one?

The prophet looked at his companion, who nodded knowingly.

"It's very likely that, at present, only it possesses this power."

Stiyl wasn't a mind reader; he could easily guess what they were referring to. "Which one are you talking about?"

The prophet pointed to the strange celestial body that occupied half of the sky and replied, "The Outer God in the sky has similar power. He believes that it is that being calling you."

Another prophet looked at Stiyl, who was bound in chains, and added, "If things are as we suspect, then God has chosen you, Sheriff Stiyl."

……

There is no matter in the psionic network universe, or rather, matter consists of individual living entities that have evolved into the colorful psionic network universe we know today as fundamental particles.

The swarm could not enter directly because the universe does not contain the kind of spacetime that the swarm traditionally understands, and the matter is not the kind of matter that the swarm understands.

But these are not insurmountable problems.

By overwriting the life forms' thoughts as fundamental particles, making them part of the swarm, and then combining them into planetary life forms, the swarm's planetary life forms can naturally appear in that universe, although they cannot use psionic energy in that universe as they do outside.

However, none of these are problems. The rabbis are doing this to intimidate, and they are doing it in a way that looks impressive.

Planetary beings in the psionic network universe have little power of their own, but they can communicate with swarms of beings from outside the universe, allowing these swarms to provide them with power.

Just as the planetary beings were waiting for Rabi's message, they suddenly received a signal transmitted from the direction of the Pulan people's home planet.

This signal is very special; it is not a traditional electromagnetic wave signal, but rather a signal from an uncharged submicroscopic particle, such as a neutrino.

"It's you."

After reading the signal, the planetary beings recognized the Plan people, Stiyl, on the planet.

Stiyl, the planetary creature, is an impression; it is the observation medium chosen by the swarm.

Although this medium has been exposed and discovered by the resistance forces in this universe, at least it is still alive and can continue to contribute to the intelligence work of the swarm.

"What can I do, great being?"

Stiyl, standing in the central court's ritual array, asked somewhat timidly.

This is an Outer God, a supreme and terrifying being. If he is emotionally unstable, he can destroy their civilization. The fate of the entire civilization is in his hands. It's impossible not to be afraid.

"Don't be nervous, I'm just a bit bigger than you, but essentially we're the same."

The planetary creature simply interpreted Stiyl's words literally, mistakenly believing that he felt guilty for not being able to help earlier.

Then I remembered that Kai'Sa had once directly controlled Stiyl, and might have even entered some information into him.

Therefore, the planetary beings viewed Stiyl as if he were a microscopic organism arranged by a swarm of bees in this universe, and suddenly felt much more approachable.

"Don't worry, this matter is troublesome, but it's not that big of a deal. Your mission doesn't require you to help me. Just stay alive."

task?

Are we all essentially the same?

Stiyl was completely confused. This god had only just made contact with him and hadn't mentioned any mission.

Recalling what the Central Court had previously told him—that the gods were a bunch of chaotic creatures spouting nonsense—Stiyl became even more convinced.

However, on the other hand, being the messenger of this Outer God seems quite nice. He's so approachable when you talk to him, and he even specifically told him to live well.

Stiyl was genuinely moved that such a great being, whom he had never met before, would care about him so much.

"I understand, I will live well."

Since you have chosen me, I will serve as your messenger, for the sake of this deep gratitude in my heart, and for the fact that I have saved my own civilization!

Seeing the Central Court Prophets gesturing frantically at him from the side of the ritual array, Stiyl recalled the previously agreed-upon questioning procedure and began, "So, regarding us, the Prannoys, what are your plans...?"

Before Stiyl could finish speaking, the planetary creature interrupted him.

"They're here. We'll talk about it later."

The Pulan people's home star system remained as normal as ever, and the Pulan people's various observation devices did not detect anything unusual. However, this was only from the Pulan people's perspective; there was nothing unusual about it.

Within the chaotic vortex, there exist countless indescribable beings. Some of these beings, like Miro, are filled with fear of the unknown power displayed by the planetary creatures, while others are not afraid at all.

These beings could not accept that life was not part of that grand symphony of chaos, nor could they accept that an Outer God wanted to stand alone. For this, they displayed an uncontrollable and terrifying rage.

Here they come!
