Chapter 350 The Restless Pulan People

Chapter 350 The Restless Pulan People

Initially, the lingering influence of the once-dormant Pulan civilization remained, and most of the former rulers dared not be too reckless or cause trouble everywhere, for fear of kicking a hornet's nest and bringing disaster upon themselves.

However, as time went on, those civilizations that possessed interstellar technology continued to grow and expand, and many of the ancient rulers were dragged out of their hiding places by these curious civilizations.

These curious civilizations were naturally destroyed by the wrath of the Outer Gods.

The technology within the psionic network universe, like technology outside the universe, relies on matter to manifest. The Outer Gods, through divine words, can directly exert absolute control over the matter within the psionic network universe, thus naturally trampling the technological civilization within this universe underfoot.

Unless a civilization can do what the Pulan people did, fundamentally deceive the foundational life forms and strip the Outer Gods of their right to rule, it will be impossible.

After the Outer Gods who destroyed these civilizations calmed their anger, they unexpectedly discovered that, at some point, exposure no longer seemed to be a big problem, and the universe had become much more "peaceful".

The original vortex structure of the universe was torn apart and reassembled into the three vortices we see today. However, the terrifying being that tore apart the universe's structure seems to have no intention of continuing to reshape the universe. The once-fleeting and terrifying fleet also seems to have been submerged in the river of time and disappeared without a trace.

The small group of Outer Gods who were the first to discover this were overjoyed and gradually began to roam freely and boldly within the three vortexes.

This behavior attracted the attention of the Outer Gods who had glimpsed it from its hiding place, and the wandering group grew larger and larger.

This is apocalyptic for the civilizations of the psionic network universe, whose technology cannot reach the level of the Pulan people, who discovered that everything in the universe is alive.

Civilizations in these psionic network universes, with their highly gifted races, can naturally perceive the existence of the three major vortexes in the universe's structure. However, as long as they believe that lifeless forms exist in the universe, they cannot correctly understand the fundamental source of the Outer Gods' power—the foundational life.

Therefore, those technologically advanced space civilizations had no resistance whatsoever against the Outer Gods, and all their technological products were easily rendered useless, leading to their destruction.

The entire universe was plunged into a series of civilization apocalypses due to the large-scale roaming of the Outer Gods.

Many of the Outer Gods in the wandering ranks were eager to destroy these civilizations that they saw as fragile and vulnerable.

It's not that they are particularly evil; it's mainly that they still remember the whisper of the great and supreme being at the center of the Great Vortex: chaos is the main direction of the universe. Things like civilization, which will continue to expand and influence the universe, are chaotic and will eventually lead to order. We should reduce them as much as possible.

Of course, these are not necessarily all destined for destruction. Some civilizations that are lucky enough to become followers of the Outer Gods are happy to be accepted as followers by some of the Outer Gods.

As the Outer Gods ventured deeper into the three vortexes, they once again heard the chaotic whispers of that supreme and great being.

The whispers were faint and indistinct, inaudible to any of the Outer Gods, but enough to drive them into a frenzy and madness that clouded their judgment.

The countless Outer Gods within the three great vortexes, like predators who have been starving for a long time and have spotted their prey, rushed toward the center of the vortexes with frenzied speed.

Countless Outer Gods jostled, trampled, and tore at each other, all in the hope of becoming the first being to hear the voice of the Great and Supreme Being.

The weak Outer Gods were crushed and perished in this frenzy, and countless races suffered directly or indirectly. Spacetime was in turmoil, and the rage unleashed by the divine words swept through hundreds of thousands of star systems, turning them into nebulae and dust.

Those powerful Outer Gods were no better off. They tore at each other and became entangled, but because they were too powerful, they could not be fatally harmed. The long entanglement actually made them tend to merge!

When these Outer Gods discovered the fusion, it was too late. They frantically tried to break free, but it was all in vain. The Dominator born from their fusion intensified the fusion between the Outer Gods, completely devouring these entangled Outer Gods.

Thus, the chaos and turmoil among the Outer Gods ceased, and the center of the three great vortexes was occupied by three terrifying Outer Gods.

Like other Outer Gods, they are rulers who can use divine words, but their power is far beyond that of ordinary rulers.

If the Outer Gods are gods compared to ordinary intelligent species, then these three Great Old Ones are also gods compared to the Outer Gods. These three beings, located at the center of the three great vortices of the universe, have divine words so powerful that they can influence any corner of the universe with just a thought.

The moment each of them is born, the entire psionic network universe is in an uproar!

The stable yet chaotic era of the past has returned to the psionic network universe!

The three originally separated vortexes were reconnected by these three terrifying beings. The vortexes were both divided and unified. The supreme and great whispers were accepted by these three terrifying Outer Gods, and then, through their joint singing, the three vortexes were spread, allowing the chaotic and distorted music to surround the entire universe.

The gods from beyond the heavens were terrified by the power of the newly born ruler who was entrenched at the center, and had no more thoughts. They played a series of murky accompaniment notes in a strange and distorted way around the chaotic ensemble of the three beings.

Madness and chaos once again became the theme of the universe. Spacetime was distorted and order was collapsing. Even those civilizations that had already crossed stars could only flee in panic.

Extinction was the fate of most civilizations in this era; only a small number of civilizations encountered Outer Gods who were willing to take in their followers and thus received their protection.

Everything happening in the universe was naturally known to the Pulan people. Whether it was out of a sense of crisis triggered by the plight of the rabbits dying and the foxes dying, or because they did not want to see the stable order of the universe collapse completely, a movement to eliminate the outer gods arose within the Pulan civilization, which adhered to the principle of civilizational silence.

This trend of thought, not long after it emerged, began to influence the decision-making level of the Pulan civilization.

"They've gone too far! Are we just supposed to stand by and watch?"

A high-ranking member of the Pulan people privately approached his friend, a Pulan person chosen by the swarm as a medium, to discuss a proposal for the Pulan fleet to launch an attack to eliminate the Outer Gods and stabilize the order.

The power structure of the Pulan civilization was heavily influenced by the swarm. As the civilization developed, those Pulan people who could directly receive information from the swarm and who, as the swarm, viewed the universe from the perspective of native organisms, became the group that held the highest power in the Pulan civilization.

After all, the swarm of bees is a real god, and the establishment of divine authority within a civilization naturally means that whoever is closer to the god has more power.
