Su Qing looked at Lin Tian and tentatively asked, "Mr. Lin, have you already thought about your next step?"

Lin Tian slowly began to speak: "Right now, as soon as civilian conventional products are launched, they will be collected and controlled by the military, making it impossible to conduct normal market operations. We can only use Canghai No. 1 to break the deadlock."

"What, 'Canghai No. 1'?"

"It's the multi-functional coating that Mr. Zhang just customized," Lin Tian explained simply. "It's a coating that integrates super corrosion resistance, radiation resistance, and radar absorption stealth, making it suitable for ships and marine facilities."

"I named it 'Canghai No. 1'."

Then, Lin Tian instructed, "Su Qing, you immediately take the lead in establishing a high-end special product customization project department."

"From now on, we will focus on high-end customization, only accepting special customized orders from enterprises, groups, and institutions, and not going through ordinary consumer retail channels."

"As long as the budget is in place and the requirements are clear, we can accept orders for the research, development, and production of all kinds of special materials and specialized equipment. If the money is right, everything else is not a problem!"

"Understood! I'll implement it immediately!"

Su Qing's eyes lit up, and she immediately accepted the order, quickly turning around and leaving the office to urgently prepare for the new project team.

Lin Tian devoted himself entirely to the research and development of the Canghai No. 1 special marine paint.

He finalized the core R&D indicators in advance, benchmarking against or even exceeding the highest national standards for marine coatings.

First, its corrosion resistance must exceed the limits of ordinary marine paint, and it must be able to withstand long-term immersion in high-salinity seawater, strong salt spray erosion, and acid and alkali erosion from sea winds, far exceeding the industry's highest C5-M anti-corrosion level.

Secondly, its anti-radiation performance can strongly block strong ultraviolet radiation from the ocean and electromagnetic interference from the sea, preventing coating aging, powdering, and cracking.

Third, radar-absorbing stealth capability: by absorbing and scattering radar electromagnetic waves through nano-absorbing structures, the radar cross-section of ships and facilities is significantly reduced, avoiding scanning and locking by conventional maritime radar and low-altitude detection radar.

It also features thin-layer adhesion, high adhesion, resistance to high and low temperatures, and waterproof and antifouling properties, making it suitable for complex marine environments.

After clarifying the performance goals, Lin Tian began to precisely formulate the raw material formula.

The base resin is a modified epoxy fluorocarbon resin, which ensures the toughness and adhesion of the coating.

The anti-corrosion system, combined with ultrafine zinc powder and zinc phosphate anti-rust filler, constructs a multi-layer anti-corrosion shielding structure.

The anti-radiation components include nano-titanium dioxide and zirconium oxide powder, providing long-lasting protection against ultraviolet and electromagnetic radiation.

The core microwave absorption function requires the combination of carbonyl iron powder and nano-graphene microwave absorbing materials.

Wideband radar wave absorption loss is achieved through a multi-layer gradient structure.

The entire formula has a clear logic and precise parameters.

However, when it was actually implemented, the core challenges immediately became apparent.

High-purity nano-graphene absorbing powder and refined carbonyl iron ultrafine powder are high-end military-grade restricted materials.

There is no stock available in the domestic civilian market, and all overseas channels are blocked and sanctioned by G7 countries, making regular procurement impossible.

Without these two core materials, the wave-absorbing stealth performance cannot meet the standards at all, and the project will be stuck.

With conventional procurement channels completely cut off, the project came to a standstill. Ordinary R&D teams would have been helpless at this point, but Lin Tian quickly came up with a way to break the deadlock.

He did not force the purchase of finished materials from outside suppliers.

Instead, they took a different approach, utilizing the factory's existing precision grinding equipment and high-temperature purification equipment.

Purchase commercially available ordinary industrial graphene crude materials and conventional carbonyl iron raw materials, and carry out secondary deep processing independently.

He said he'd do it, and he did it!

Lin Tian worked through the night to adjust equipment parameters and optimize high-temperature pyrolysis, ultra-micro airflow grinding, and layered purification processes.

Precise control of temperature, rotation speed, and purification precision removes internal impurities from raw materials and reshapes the microscopic molecular structure of materials.

They transformed ordinary industrial raw materials into military-grade high-precision nanoparticles.

It perfectly replaces imported restricted materials, completely breaking the problem of raw material blockade.

After resolving the core material issue, Lin Tian repeatedly adjusted the mixing ratio, curing temperature, and coating thickness.

Through repeated color adjustments, trial coatings, curing, and parameter comparisons, we corrected formula deviations, resolved minor issues such as coating delamination, insufficient adhesion, and microwave absorption frequency band shifts, and continuously optimized the performance of the finished product.

Three days and three nights of continuous hard work, countless iterations of formulation and process optimization.

The first fully qualified and high-performance multi-functional special marine coating for the Canghai-1 has finally been successfully formulated and produced in the Zhenxing Industrial and Trade Laboratory.

The transparent, semi-matte coating concentrate has a fine, uniform, and clear texture, free of impurities and sediment. After curing, it is thin and tough, with an appearance far superior to all marine paints on the market.

Lin Tian looked at the finished product, let out a long sigh, and said sharply, "The formula is now finalized. Next, we'll conduct comprehensive performance testing!"

"Zhao Tianming! Immediately arrange a dedicated testing team to begin comprehensive performance testing!"

"Received, Mr. Lin!"

Workshop supervisor Zhao Tianming immediately accepted the order and led a professional testing team to start a full set of national standard testing equipment for marine materials. They began rigorous testing of each item in accordance with national standards for marine coatings such as GB/T 6822 and ISO 9227.

First round of corrosion resistance and salt spray test: The equipment simulates the harsh marine environment of high salt spray and high humidity in the open ocean, and continuously sprays a 5% concentration sodium chloride corrosion solution.

The industry's top-tier marine corrosion protection standards only require 2000 hours of no damage.

The Canghai-1 underwent 3500 hours of continuous testing, and the coating surface showed no blistering, peeling, rusting, or powdering, with scratch corrosion spreading less than 0.5 millimeters.

It far exceeds the highest anti-corrosion level of the national standard C5-M, and its anti-corrosion life can reach more than 15 years, completely surpassing all marine coatings on the market.

The second round of radiation resistance and aging resistance tests: high-intensity ultraviolet radiation and continuous exposure to marine electromagnetic clutter radiation were applied to simulate the environment of constant exposure to sunlight and electromagnetic interference in the open ocean.

High-end marine paints on the market generally show signs of aging, cracking, fading, and failure after 3000 hours.

After 4500 hours of continuous radiation aging, the coating of Canghai-1 showed no decline in color, hardness, or adhesion, and its radiation resistance and aging resistance met the standards for military stealth coatings.

The third round of radar absorption stealth test: Connecting conventional maritime detection radar and low-altitude search radar, a full-area scan was conducted on the steel plate sample of the ship painted with Canghai No. 1.

Ordinary marine coatings have a radar reflectivity close to 100%, making them extremely easy to lock onto by radar. In contrast, the Canghai-1 has an absorption rate of up to 92% for electromagnetic waves in the mainstream detection frequency band of 2GHz-18GHz.

It can effectively scatter and consume radar wave energy, significantly reduce target reflection signals, perfectly achieve low detectability of sea surface facilities, and completely solve the problems of ship radar exposure and misjudgment locking.

In addition, all auxiliary tests, such as adhesion, flexibility, resistance to high and low temperatures, seawater immersion, stain resistance and abrasion resistance, achieved full marks.

The actual drying time, coating hardness, and compatibility are all superior to the highest national standards for marine coatings.

Suitable for coating various steel ships, offshore platforms, and near-shore facilities.

The entire test lasted a full day and night, and all the data was released, showing that its performance completely outperformed the industry's top products.

Zhao Tianming approached Lin Tian with the test report: "President Lin, the entire set of tests is complete, and all the data is here... Please take a look!"

"Our Canghai-1 boasts performance that far surpasses the highest national standards in every aspect, and even... leads the pack in performance!"
