Chapter 53 I Don't Like Being Forced
"what!"
Sangji let out a scream, suddenly rolled over, and simultaneously unleashed his backhand dagger again, stabbing at Chen Hui behind him.
Chen Hui pressed down on his shoulder, using the force of his turning over to easily get off his back, creating some distance between them, and stared at him with disdain.
"Your swordsmanship is not bad, but your strength and speed are quite weak. How are you going to make a living here? Did your master's wife teach you this swordsmanship?"
Sangji, unable to move one leg and kneeling on the ground, was enraged upon hearing this. His dark eyes revealed a ruthless glint, a move that could kill by destroying his spirit.
"I want you dead!"
Dragging his broken left leg, he used his right leg to forcefully stand up.
Chen Hui immediately rushed forward. This time, he held nothing back. The dagger danced in his hand, leaving afterimages, and his figure kept circling around Sangji.
Sangji stood still, continuously waving the dagger in his hand at maximum speed.
Suddenly, Chen Hui appeared behind him, looking up and passing under his armpit, a slight smile playing on his lips.
Sangji's eyes widened in disbelief as he slowly lowered his head.
Numerous wounds appeared on his chest, armpits, abdomen, thighs, and other parts of his body, and blood kept oozing out, staining his clothes blood red.
These wounds were very subtle, all of them avoiding his vital organs and arteries, and only cutting his veins.
"You...you, your Eight-Slash Sword technique has actually reached...this level!"
As soon as he finished speaking, he knelt weakly on the ground, supporting himself with one hand to keep from falling, but his arm was trembling uncontrollably.
Chen Hui slowly approached him.
"This isn't called the Eight-Cut Saber; it's called the Xingyi Six Harmonies Saber. What you've practiced is nothing but stolen knowledge; a pirated copy is always a pirated copy!"
Sangji could clearly feel his blood draining away rapidly, dripping onto the ground like raindrops. He struggled to lift his head, a look of confusion on his face.
"Why didn't you just kill me?"
Chen Hui narrowed his eyes, shooting out a cold glint, and said coldly.
"Don't you enjoy torturing others? Well, I like to take the same tricks and use them on them, letting them experience it for themselves!"
"What do you mean?"
Chen Hui looked at him and said quietly.
"Didn't you use the same methods to cause that policewoman so much pain back then?"
Upon hearing this, Sangji's pupils dilated in shock, and he exclaimed in disbelief.
"You...you're a police officer too?"
"No! You're not a police officer!"
Chen Hui didn't respond to him at all, and turned into a blur, approaching him again. Sangji looked as if he was facing a formidable enemy and wanted to fight back, but unfortunately he didn't have any extra strength.
"puff!"
Chen Hui flashed behind him, plunged a knife into his back, and then severed the tendon in his other Achilles tendon.
"Enjoy these last painful moments!"
After saying this, Chen Hui took the file bag and went upstairs.
Sangji lay on the ground convulsing, his eyes filled with despair.
Inside the lobby.
Wang Kun sat on the sofa with a satisfied look on his face. There were two corpses in front of him. The young woman was naked and lying face down on the coffee table with her throat cut. The wild boar was lying on the ground with its eyes wide open, looking like it had died with its throat cut as well.
I lit a cigarette, took a deep drag, and heard footsteps coming from the stairwell.
"Did you get the items?"
Wang Kun mistakenly thought that Sangji had returned with the item, but there was no reply. Suddenly, a bad premonition arose in his heart, his face changed drastically, and he stood up abruptly, grabbing the gun on the table without hesitation.
"puff!"
"what!"
The moment he picked up the gun, a dagger flew out and pierced his wrist, causing the gun to fall to the ground.
Wang Kun clutched his wrist, terrified, and looked at the newcomer with his pupils dilating rapidly, exclaiming in horror.
"Is it you?"
Chen Hui looked at him calmly and said indifferently.
Are you surprised to see me?
Cold sweat was beginning to bead on his forehead, and his eyes darted around towards the stairwell.
"No need to look anymore, that man from the Northern Shan State can't come up."
Upon hearing this, Wang Kun's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets in shock. He couldn't believe it. He knew Sangji's skills; how could Chen Hui, all alone, have done it?
"Who...who are you? I can give you anything you want!"
Coming to his senses, he stared intently at Chen Hui and asked.
Chen Hui approached step by step, his eyes growing deep.
"You're being so cooperative, fine. I'll just ask you one question: what's the real name of that guy in the provincial department called 'Eagle'?"
A sly glint flashed in Wang Kun's eyes, but it vanished in an instant. He feigned confusion and asked...
"What eagle? I don't know anything about that!"
Before he could finish speaking, Chen Hui rushed towards him.
Upon seeing this, the wild boar's eyes widened, and it reached for the gun on the ground with its other hand.
Chen Hui grabbed one side of the coffee table with one hand, and with a forceful flip, overturned the entire coffee table, which then crashed towards Wang Kun.
Wang Kun had just squatted down when he saw the coffee table hurtling towards him. He was terrified and instinctively raised his arms to defend himself.
"Bang!"
The powerful impact was far beyond his ability to withstand; he was instantly knocked to the ground by the coffee table, which then pressed down on him.
He struggled desperately, trying to push the coffee table away, but Chen Hui stepped on the bottom of the coffee table.
Wang Kun felt like he couldn't breathe, as if he was suffocating. His face turned red, and veins bulged on his forehead.
Chen Hui stood on the coffee table, grabbed the dagger on his wrist, and pulled it out forcefully.
"what!"
With a scream, Wang Kun convulsed in pain, his injured hand trembling.
Without saying a word, Chen Hui drew his dagger and stabbed him in the shoulder.
Wang Kun felt like he was going crazy; this guy attacked without even asking any questions.
Chen Hui did not draw the dagger; instead, he twirled it.
"ah···!"
Wang Kun cooperated perfectly by making a pig-like scream.
A moment later, Chen Hui pulled out his dagger and stabbed again, repeating the action from before, still without saying a word.
"I'll talk! Stop hitting me, I'll talk!"
As soon as he finished speaking, another slash came down. Chen Hui seemed not to have heard him, continuing to spin the dagger while stepping on his other hand, clearly preparing to attack it as well, muttering something under his breath.
"I didn't shut you up. You can say what you want, or you can leave it at that. Don't force yourself; I hate it when people force me!"
Upon hearing this, Wang Kun cursed his ancestors for eighteen generations in his heart, but dared not linger on his lips and quickly spoke.
"Old...Eagle, I...I really don't know your true identity!"
A cold glint flashed in Chen Hui's eyes, and the dagger in his hand was about to fall again.
Wang Kun was so anxious he was about to cry.
"I really don't know, but I do know his son's account!"
