Untamed Passionate Kiss

Chapter 47 "Miss Liang, it's been a long time."

Judging from Bian Yu's phone wallpaper, Yin Miao is quite pretty.

After taking off her glasses, she lost some of her intellectual air but gained a playful charm, making her seem very down-to-earth.

Liang Yutang has been used as someone else's phone wallpaper before.

But Bian Yu never did that.

She thought it was because he had a proper personality and didn't like being overly sentimental.

Later, Bian Yu showed off his affection on Douyin, and Liang Yutang was quite happy.

She only found out when she arrived that he had only wanted to sow discord between her and Meng Yang.

No wonder Yin Miao cared so much about Bian Yu's life and death.

It turns out that the two had developed feelings for each other over time.

However, Yin Miao deliberately avoided mentioning this during the phone call.

Even when talking about Bian Yu, his tone was like that of an ordinary friend.

Presumably afraid that Liang Yutang would overhear something and, in a fit of anger, remain indifferent and watch from the sidelines.

Dead memories suddenly assaulted Liang Yutang.

One passionate night, she breathed heavily in the man's ear and asked.

"If I weren't there, would you have been interested in that thesis partner?"

Bian Yu did not answer at the time.

At the time, I thought it was disdain. Now it seems it was a guilty conscience.

She was tricked by the couple, who took turns teasing her.

Strangely, Liang Yutang's first reaction was not anger, nor did she get angry.

My mind felt completely blank.

The bottle of alcohol was half full, so she picked it up and drank it all. She drank too fast and coughed.

Upon hearing the sound, Bian Yu moved his fingers, as if consciously reaching out to her.

Liang Yutang's fingers were gripped by the man. Combined with the alcohol, her body was burning hot.

He couldn't help but recall the time when the two of them slept in the same bed. In the middle of the night, Bian Yu would always like to grope around with his arm like that.

Usually, Liang Yutang would roll to the edge of the bed, and he would try to pull her back into his arms.

Even now, he still hasn't broken this habit.

But the person he wanted to hug was someone else.

Liang Yutang suddenly pulled her hand away as if she were crazy, regardless of whether he was a patient or not, which finally alerted Bian Yu.

Bian Yu was dreaming.

I dreamt that I met Liang Yutang in a square room with white walls.

More than a year after they separated, Liang Yutang had almost never appeared in his dreams.

It's not that he completely forgot the name.

Instead, he stayed up late almost every night, slept very late, and slept very soundly.

The brain simply cannot allocate any extra space for any dream.

He often slept until the afternoon, and his daily routine became the same as Liang Yutang's.

After waking up, it's just the usual routine of eating, going to class, continuing to write code, and so on.

This was the first time he had ever clearly seen Liang Yutang's face in his dream.

Even her every word, every smile, and every frown is vivid.

But Bian Yu wasn't moved, nor did he express his feelings; instead, the more he looked, the angrier he became.

Then, just like on the day they parted, he spoke harshly to the girl.

Bian Yu: "Long time no see, Miss Liang. You're still as beautiful as ever, except for your phone?"

Liang Yutang had never been treated like this before.

In her dream, she immediately started arguing with him and even reached out to pinch his face.

Bian Yu winced in pain from being pinched, so he couldn't help but reach out and pinch the girl's thin cheek.

Wow.

When he squeezed his arm into empty air, the intense feeling of weightlessness caused Bian Yu to slowly open his eyes.

He saw, as if in a dream, square white walls, and thin air.

For a moment, Bian Yu couldn't tell whether he was in reality or still dreaming.

He subconsciously tilted his head, as if searching for something.

But looking around, there was no trace of anyone in the room.

The man lowered his eyes slightly, and breathed a sigh of relief.

He breathed a sigh of relief because if he actually saw Liang Yutang, he probably still wouldn't give her a pleasant look.

The breakup was so messy back then, it was almost like we were exchanging family tree quotes and talking about birdsong and flowers.

When they met again, Bian Yu couldn't be sure that he had vented all his resentment.

At least from the dream, not yet.

Rationally, he was unwilling to get entangled with Liang Yutang any further, not even verbally.

He spent a year to regain a monotonous but fulfilling life.

His heart no longer wanted to be swayed by this.

Liang Yutang rushed out of the ward and bumped into a nurse who was making her rounds in the middle of the night.

The nurse asked her which room she came from, "This is the infectious disease ward. Have you taken any isolation measures? Please leave your name..."

To the flustered Liang Yutang, it was all just a string of nonsensical nonsense.

There was only one instruction in her mind—

Escape. We absolutely cannot let Bian Yu see this as a joke.

She used to mock her friends in the industry for driving 300 kilometers just to get a single answer from someone in an unequal relationship.

Now, she has traveled thousands of miles to see me off...

People can't even empathize with their former selves!

In the pitch-black night, Liang Yutang didn't even want to find a hotel to stay in.

As if a ghost was following her, she staggered and gradually began to jog.

She ran to the hospital entrance, but visibility was poor at night. Suddenly, she sprinted to the side of the road and was hit head-on by a local bus.

Fortunately, there were passengers on the bus, and the destination was the hospital, so the driver seemed to have a buffer zone in advance.

Otherwise, Liang Yutang would probably have to die here.

Even so, she was still hit by the force of the vehicle and fell flat on her back to the ground.

The driver was so frightened that he quickly got out of the car, helped her up, and prepared to take her to the nearest hospital.

Liang Yutang seemed unwilling to return to that hospital, feeling suffocated.

"I'm fine," she said to the driver in English, adding casually, "To the airport?"

In the back seat of the vehicle, Liang Yutang checked her overall condition.

Only the palms of my hands were scratched from the force of the impact. Everything else seemed to be fine.

And for a fleeting second, she even felt that the scratches weren't painful enough.

If it hurt more, my mind wouldn't be filled with so many random thoughts.

Besides Bian Yu, Yin Miao, the photos, and the hardships of the journey... there are many, many regrets.

Liang Yutang gritted her teeth secretly, "That guy might as well be dead, that would be the end of it all."

The reason she was so angry was because she knew that even if Yin Miao told the truth, she would still ask Meng Yang for help.

What Liang Yutang hated was that her hatred was incomplete.

The journey to the airport was quite long. Liang Yutang leaned against the car window to catch her breath and then realized how tired she was.

After working almost non-stop for 48 hours, she finally felt too exhausted to even grieve.

It wasn't until they were almost at the airport that Liang Yutang remembered about booking tickets.

She opened the ticketing app and selected the earliest red-eye flight.

The flight information pops up a friendly reminder, prompting passengers to prepare their passports and other identification information.

Liang Yutang then realized that her visa for country M was expiring in one day.

If Yin Miao had called even a day later, she wouldn't have been able to come so readily.

Not to mention serving Bian Yu at his bedside.

Liang Yutang suddenly recalled a trivial memory.

In the temple in Nanyun City, Liang Yutang prayed earnestly, but Bian Yu had no taboos.

He even thought that talk of ghosts and gods was nonsense.

Bian Yu: "I believe even more in the power of human will to overcome nature."

The temple keeper happened to be passing by and chimed in.

Even with ample human strength and countless ways to maneuver, one cannot defy the protection of fate.

No amount of human effort can compare to a single act of divine favor.

Isn't that exactly Bian Yu's current situation?

It was only through divine intervention that Liang Yutang was able to successfully reach his destination and embark on his journey.

Then she finished what she was supposed to do.
