Untamed Passionate Kiss

Chapter 5 Eight Clever Ideas

The junior student stood up abruptly, his face full of anger.

Meng Yang reacted quickly, standing in front of Liang Yutang to protect her.

"A boy should have gentlemanly manners; you were the one who spoke recklessly first."

The junior was so angry he wanted to jump up and down, but he didn't dare to say a word, because the Meng family was someone he couldn't afford to offend.

Meng Yang's father had already reached the pinnacle of his position in Jing City. His grandparents' generation, as well as those who had stayed at YuQi Mountain, all had a purely revolutionary background.

When Meng Yang went abroad, his whole family was unhappy, but Meng Yang was already very opinionated at such a young age.

He didn't want to be arranged by his family and follow the same path; he had his own areas of interest.

Inside the bar, everyone fell silent.

Meng Yang stopped rambling and stretched out his hand to Liang Yutang, uttering a single, concise word.

"Walk."

Liang Yutang, being sensible, obediently picked up the small bag and followed him in full view of everyone.

The two walked away hand in hand, their backs to the camera, which their best friend excitedly posted on her WeChat Moments.

"OMG, what an amazing couple I'm shipping!"

……

Meng Yang didn't drink. He drove two unassuming old Jeeps and took Liang Yutang for a aimless stroll.

Liang Yutang sat in the passenger seat, carefully observing his expression.

Meng Yang seemed to sense it, and felt a little relieved.

He braced himself against the car window with one arm and steered the wheel with the other, reassuring her.

"It's good that things have fallen apart; you can use this time to recharge. A girl shouldn't be constantly carrying a bottle of alcohol."

Liang Yutang obediently said "Oh," and finally became a little bolder.

"When are you going back to the US?" she asked. "If you're not in a rush, how about the two families have a meal together?"

"I'm not leaving anytime soon," he said. "The company is setting up a branch in Jingzhou. Otherwise, why do you think I would suddenly return to China?"

Liang Yutang's eyes lit up: "Really?"

Doesn't this mean she has many opportunities to take advantage of her position?!

Even though thinking this way confirms she's a gold digger, the destructive power of the "white moonlight" (idealized love interest) is just too great.

"And you? When do you and your boyfriend plan to get married?"

Just as Liang Yutang was plotting to pluck the moon from the sky, Meng Yang suddenly dropped a bombshell.

Liang Yutang was taken aback. "Huh?"

At a traffic light, Meng Yang braked and turned to stare at her: "You and that guy."

Liang Yutang's gaze darted away, her mind racing.

"...Just dating, marriage? What a joke. My parents will never allow me to date someone from an ordinary family."

Meng Yang's expression softened a bit, but he still tried his best to keep his emotions in check and continued to probe.

"Let's put our parents aside..."

"I can't let go! How could I possibly let go of my parents??"

Liang Yutang had never been so respectful of her parents' wishes and so certain of her words.

"The kindness of giving birth to and raising a child is greater than the heavens. I may be willful in small matters, but I still know my limits when it comes to important things."

Meng Yang quickly replied, "Since you're not serious, then protect yourself."

"Don't worry, he's very obedient and won't be a problem for me."

Meng Yang's throat tightened, and his voice suddenly became somewhat hoarse: "What I mean is—take proper precautions and don't let anyone die."

Liang Yutang's face flushed crimson.

She tried to lie: "I...we didn't do anything..."

But the voice grew weaker and weaker.

Originally, she planned to get off at a certain intersection and take a taxi to her apartment.

But at this moment, in order to prove that she and Bian Yu were truly innocent, she casually changed the subject, saying that she was tired and wanted to go home.

The Liang and Meng families lived in the same area. Meng Yang started the engine and drove her home with practiced ease.

As soon as she entered the room, Liang Yutang rushed into the bedroom.

She's not stupid; she must know that Meng Yang's sudden mention of this must have a deeper meaning.

So she opened Bian Yu's social media app and looked at his posts showing off his affection for his partner.

For example, posting photos of her playing games with the caption: "My little sister."

For example, taking a picture of her sleeping face.

……

Liang Yutang immediately called Bian Yu.

"Delete those things from D-list," she said coldly.

Bian Yu was working on data when he heard the sound of typing. The typing stopped briefly upon hearing this.

Bian Yu: "What's wrong?"

Liang Yutang didn't answer, but instead launched into a barrage of comments: "That's a public place after all, it's indecent."

Bian Yu immediately sensed something was wrong and tentatively asked.

"There are tons of couples showing off their love up there, and you only think I'm violating public morals, is that what you mean?"

Indeed, many bloggers become national couples by showing off their affection; there are plenty of couples kissing online, so their pair is just another one.

But Liang Yutang felt that Meng Yang's reminder tonight was related to the things Bian Yufa had posted.

Perhaps he stumbled upon Bian Yu's work by chance...

The more Liang Yutang thought about it, the angrier she became. Little did she know that Bian Yu was no pushover either, and turned the tables on her.

"Do you have someone else you're trying to woo?" he countered.

Liang Yutang was taken aback; she had actually been intimidated. Before she could say anything more, he had already hung up and immediately called her via video.

After looking at the room furnishings in the video, which were all girl's things, Bian Yu breathed a slight sigh of relief, as it seemed to be at home.

"It's alright," he said. "They didn't immediately go to bed with me, which is a sign of respect."

This made Liang Yutang laugh in anger.

"Bian Yu, I never realized before, you're incredibly cunning!"

Who said no?

Liang Yutang didn't realize it because she had never truly understood him.

Liang Yutang and Bian Yu are about the same age. But when it comes to actually having feelings for each other, she is still too young.

She had no idea why Bian Yu had become a teaching assistant at Q University, a place teeming with brilliant minds.

Why is he receiving a significantly higher salary and benefits compared to ordinary people?

Is it because others aren't good enough?

No, the Bian family was once glorious, with their residence always bustling with visitors.

Later, when the tree fell, the monkeys scattered, and Bian Yu witnessed the entire process of the change in people's hearts.

His mind is more mature than one might imagine, and he is also adept at both acting and manipulating people's minds.

The area that was once most unfamiliar to him was relationships. So Liang Yutang reaped the benefits.

However, she prejudicially assumed that Bian Yu's clumsiness in matters of the heart represented his clumsiness as a whole.

Bian Yu is the kind of guy who's all bark and no bite. If he trusts you, you'd be willing to be his dog.

But the day he stops believing, he can instantly turn into a wolf that will devour you whole.

……

The Liang family.

Liang Yutang also realized that she had overreacted tonight, so she made up a reason.

"My mom caused trouble tonight; it seems she found your account. If you keep being so high-profile, we'll be separated."

After a long pause, Bian Yu finally said, "Oh, I know. You should get some rest."

He hung up the phone on his own initiative.

Weird.

Seeing how calm he was and how completely he believed her words, Liang Yutang actually felt a pang of guilt.

"Was I too much?"

She sent a voice message to her best friend to complain: "Bian Yu seems to really love me. He believes everything I say and is willing to do anything for me, but I don't act like a human being."

As she spoke, she recalled her first time with Bian Yu.

She was in a bad mood that night and drank too much.

Meng Yang posted on his WeChat Moments that he was attending a developer application conference in Silicon Valley, accompanied by a young Chinese assistant who was pretty but also looked capable.

The little girl had Meng Yang's coat tucked into her elbow, which made Liang Yutang's eyes turn red with anxiety.

Unfortunately, she had spent the first half of her life indulging in pleasure and knew no other way to relieve stress except through alcohol, so she would get herself completely drunk.

After that, she called Bian Yu and insisted on meeting him.

Bian Yu didn't know where she lived, so he booked a room for her at a nearby hotel, and then it was the scene where she forced herself on him.

After the first time, she became addicted and clung to him all night.

The third time, it got too intense, and the toolbox on the bedside table spilled out, revealing nail clippers with pointed tips.

Perhaps influenced by novels, some wicked thoughts arose in her mind, so she pretended to "accidentally" use the tip of nail clippers to prick a small bloody gash in the corner of the man's eye.

From then on, he became more like himself.
