I know where Bobo and the others' rented apartment is, but I've never been inside.

Bobo isn't here today, so I'll go check on Aping and Bingbing's room and see how they are doing.

I haven't paid much attention to Aping and Bingbing these past few days, and I've neglected them a bit.

If Bobo were there, I wouldn't want to go, because Bobo is a bit crazy and I don't really like him.

Bobo rented a house here, upstairs and downstairs with a small yard. The two bedrooms upstairs were sublet, and they lived downstairs.

To commit fraud, one needs an address to receive remittances, so Bobo must rent a house.

When I arrived at the rented room, I felt that the conditions here were quite good.

Aping and Bingbing's bedroom was also kept clean and tidy.

The three of us drank some beer, ate some barbecue, and chatted about some intimate topics...

After finishing our late-night snack, we started playing cards.

But A-Ping and Bing-Bing were too mean; they teamed up to beat me up.

Although I was brave and skilled in battle, and had been on the battlefield for a long time, I still lost to A-Ping and Bing-Bing in the end, losing everything and all my savings!

Seeing that it was already late at night, Ah Xiang called again, urging me to go back.

Then I took my leave.

Bingbing and Aping saw me off, still somewhat reluctant to part.

Sigh, they're all just playful kids!

Back at the Zhongyao Company dormitory, I quickly took a shower and then went straight to sleep.

Half-asleep, I heard Ah Xiang tossing and turning beside me, sighing softly... Perhaps she wanted some tenderness but didn't get it?

……

Early the next morning, I drove Daozixiong's Mercedes-Benz, along with Director Nie and Director Tang, to the station to welcome Master Zhongyun.

Director Nie was also driving.

Around eight o'clock, a taxi stopped beside us.

Master Zhongyun, dressed in clean, ordinary clothes, got out of the car.

He came alone, all by himself, with nothing to his name.

"Master Daoist." I quickly stepped forward to greet him, "You've had a long journey, Master Daoist."

"You brought me here by taxi, what trouble?" The Taoist priest smiled slightly, which was unusual for him. "It's you who has gone to trouble waiting for me here."

I chuckled dryly and then introduced Director Nie and Director Tang to Daoist Zhongyun.

Master Zhongyun nodded: "I remember Director Tang, I met him before."

Director Tang and Director Nie smiled apologetically: "Taoist Master, please get in the car. We've arranged some morning tea. Have some snacks to tide you over."

The Taoist priest nodded and got into my car.

I drove the Taoist priest to the Qingshan Clubhouse, tentatively asking, "Taoist priest, you must have been away for many days on this journey, right?"

The Taoist priest closed his eyes to rest, then asked me in return, "Have you finished reading all the books I gave you these past few days?"

"I've finished watching it, I've watched it twice," I answered, forcing myself to speak.

I did finish reading those books, but I skimmed through them without truly understanding them.

"Then let me test you..." The Taoist priest kept his eyes closed: "The Book of Rites says, 'There are no female dogs in the book.' What's the next line?"

"The Zuo Zhuan has three chapters... including the Gongyang Commentary!"

I blurted it out.

This is a story from the Taoist priest's "Interesting Anecdotes" that he gave me, and I just happen to remember it.

The gist of the story is that a half-baked scholar in ancient times misread the phrase "When facing wealth, do not seek it unjustly; when facing danger, do not seek to avoid it unjustly" from the Book of Rites as "When facing wealth, a female dog will get it; when facing danger, a female dog will avoid it." Another scholar ridiculed him, saying, "The Book of Rites has no female dogs."

Another expert overheard this and added the next line: "The Zuo Zhuan contains the Gongyang Commentary in its three chapters."

To put it bluntly, this is an ancient joke.

The Taoist priest nodded slightly: "It's alright. If you have time another day, come to my place and get a few more books to read."

I breathed a sigh of relief: "Thank you, Taoist priest."

Sigh, I'm almost being corrupted into a hooligan by the atmosphere of Dongguan. And I still have to study? Am I supposed to become a cultured hooligan?

Dao Zixiong, Huo Yandong, and other local elites were waiting in front of the Qingshan Club.

They stood respectfully with their hands at their sides.

Sister Li originally planned to come, but then changed her mind and decided not to come.

Upon seeing the Taoist priest alight from the car, Huo Yandong and the others stepped forward one by one to shake hands and greet him.

I was like a pimp, introducing the two parties.

After the introductions were finished, everyone invited the Taoist priest to have morning tea, which is to say, breakfast.

Director Hong of the new development zone suddenly said, "Master, we've long admired your reputation; you're like a deity. It's a rare opportunity to have you here today, could you... show us your skills and broaden our horizons?"

I looked at Director Hong. Was this program arranged at the last minute?

I didn't communicate with the Taoist priest beforehand, and I'm afraid he'll be angry.

The Taoist priest remained calm, glanced at Director Hong, nodded and smiled: "It's rare for everyone to trust me, so I naturally can't let you down. Before we have morning tea, we can play a little game for fun. But let me make it clear beforehand, I won't bring in snakes from an empty basin or wine from an empty cup."

Everyone laughed and cheered, while secretly plotting to pose a difficult question to the headmaster.

Coincidentally, there was a bus stop across the street, and the bus arrived at the stop just in time, with passengers getting off one after another.

The Taoist priest pointed to the opposite side: "Let's calculate whether the passengers getting off the next bus are male or female, how old they are, and what they're wearing, okay?"

Everyone was taken aback for a moment, then nodded: "Alright!"

If someone could predict whether a passenger on a bus is male or female, how old they are, and what clothes they are wearing, wouldn't that be like a god?

The crowd was overjoyed and, with the Taoist priest by their side, went to the platform opposite.

Many others followed behind, discussing amongst themselves and talking in hushed tones.

Someone said, "Did we hear that right? The Taoist priest can predict how many passengers will get off the next bus, whether they're men or women, old or young?"

Some people say, "If he dares to boast, he must have some skills."

I looked back, and only then did those people stop talking.

The Taoist priest was not troubled at all. He casually picked six camphor tree leaves from the roadside, held them between his fingers and pondered for a moment before slowly dropping them on the ground.

I stared wide-eyed, looking at the Taoist priest, then at the leaves.

Can you really tell fortunes with just a few leaves?

"The six lines of the hexagram conceal heavenly secrets, and the divination symbols dispel doubts in the heart." The Taoist priest, also staring at the leaves on the ground, slowly said:

"All things in the world, though seemingly without order, are actually predetermined. This hexagram is Tai (Peace), the most auspicious of all. With the interaction of Heaven and Earth, all things are peaceful and harmonious."

The sky seemed to sink, the earth remained above, heaven and earth were reversed, black and white were out of place. The first to disembark was a man in black, around twenty years old. The second was a man in white, around sixty years old. The rest were all women. Two men and five women, a total of eight passengers disembarked. Among them, one was not human.

Dao Zaixiong asked, "How do you explain that it's not human?"

The Taoist priest smiled and said, "You'll know when the time comes; just wait patiently."

The group exchanged glances, nodded, and smiled, saying, "We're truly amazed by the Taoist priest's abilities today."

I lit a cigarette, worried about the Taoist priest.

If this calculation is wrong, it won't look good!

Time passed slowly; about seven or eight minutes later, another bus arrived.

We were all staring at the car door.

The car door opened, and a young man with blond hair, wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, jumped out energetically!

Then, an elderly man in his sixties, wearing a white shirt, slowly got off the bus.

Next, five women filed off the bus, one of whom was holding a pet dog in her arms.
