Marvel: Saint Seiya Starting with the Reality Stone
9. One move to kill the Cursed Warrior!
Mike actually felt that he could be friends with Malekith, the Dark Elf.
Because they all have a common enemy.
Asgard.
Malekith, the dark elf, wanted to destroy Asgard and plunge the Nine Realms back into the Dark Ages.
Mike, on the other hand, wanted to kill Loki to avenge his adoptive parents.
But if he were to kill Loki, Loki's half-brother Thor would certainly not stand idly by, and even Odin, the king of the gods, would probably side with Loki.
Despite Loki taking so many lives in the Battle of New York on Earth.
but……
Humans don't care how many ants die because of them.
The same is true!
Odin, the king of the gods of Asgard, and Thor, the god of thunder, wouldn't care how many Earthlings died because of Loki.
one more time.
If Odin, the king of the gods, truly treated all life in the nine realms equally, then he wouldn't have simply imprisoned Loki.
and so!
Mike genuinely felt that he and the dark elf Malekith shared a common language.
The premise is that Malekith doesn't covet his Reality Stone.
Mike's universe is only able to materialize here because of the existence of the Reality Stone.
But this manifestation is not eternal.
If he loses the Reality Stone, he will also lose his Cosmo.
Unless he awakens the Eighth Sense and successfully transforms from a Gold Saint comparable to a god into a true god, because gods are eternal and unique, even if he loses the Reality Stone, his cosmos will not disappear.
But that's a matter for the future.
In short, for Mike right now, the Reality Stone is not for sale.
Malekith, the dark elf, watched the aether particles flowing in Mike's palm and smiled upon hearing Mike's statement that the item was "not for sale."
"The ether is not something that life forms of your level can control."
"See how well I'm handling this now?"
Mike chuckled, and under Malekith's gaze, he made the aether particles change shape in his palm: "How's that? You're even more skilled at using it than when it was in your own hands."
The Reality Stone is different from the other Infinity Stones.
It is weak when facing the weak, and strong when facing the strong.
When the Reality Stone was in Jane Foster's possession, she had no idea how to use it and could only manipulate it based on her emotions, such as when she casually sent those London police officers flying.
Even so, Jane Foster fainted on the spot.
After all, Reality Gems consume mana, and without mana, they consume life.
And it's a continuous kind of problem.
So Malekith the Dark Elf was right.
The Reality Stone is something that most people cannot control.
But Mike can.
Moreover, he could guarantee that the Reality Stone would be far more effective in his hands than it was in the hands of the dark elf Malekith.
After all, while Malekith, the Dark Elf, possessed dark energy, it wasn't an inexhaustible source.
But Mike possesses the energy of a microcosm.
A continuous stream.
He wasn't afraid of the Reality Stone sucking his life force at all. The energy absorbed by the Reality Stone in the previous second would be replenished in the next second by his own microcosm, which would revolve in sync with his breathing.
Anyone who has read about the Cosmo settings in Saint Seiya knows this.
The microcosm is like a reservoir with unlimited capacity, but how much water you can pump at once (burning rate) depends on the power of your pump (the realm of the microcosm).
Therefore, Mike is not afraid at all that the Reality Stone is constantly absorbing his energy.
Is Malekith the Dark Elf a good choice?
He can't.
However, this does not change Malekith's desire to reclaim the Reality Stone and thus return the Nine Realms to the Dark Ages.
So after confirming that Mike didn't want to hand over the Reality Stone, he didn't say anything more. He just stared at Mike for a few moments before looking at the cursed warrior standing next to him like a statue.
Ok.
In Malekith's view, even Mike, who possessed the Reality Stone, was nothing more than a lucky Midgardian.
What are the Midgards in the eyes of the other nations of the World Tree?
Let me put it this way.
The Midgards, who broke away from the World Tree long ago, are seen by the creatures of other World Tree kingdoms as outsiders are to outsiders.
They should be even more contemptuous.
Therefore, a mere Midgardian can be dealt with by his cursed warriors.
That's what Malekith thought.
The cursed warrior, having received his master's signal, understood and stepped forward without a word, shattering the ice beneath his feet. Without any warning, he charged towards Mike like a black hill.
Mike didn't move.
Just as the cursed warrior attacked him, he slowly brought his right fist back to his waist, and his blood-red cosmos began to burn, quickly condensing into a blood-red light membrane all over his body.
next second.
The cursed warrior roared and swung his giant fist, the force of which sent ice flying everywhere.
Mike shifted slightly, dodging to the side. The ice beneath his feet exploded, and instead of advancing, he instantly appeared in front of the cursed warrior, who was more than half a body taller than him, and then unleashed a powerful right punch from below.
A blood-red beam of light shot into the sky, tearing a rift in the sky above the Arctic ice cap, with clouds churning to either side of the rift.
Just one punch.
The cursed warrior's hard breastplate split open from the center, and his body was bent backward by Mike's punch, his feet leaving the ground.
Mike didn't retract his fist. Instead, the moment the cursed warrior's feet left the ground, he followed the latter into the air and then slammed his left elbow down from above, hitting the cursed warrior on the back of the neck and bending his body into an arc.
The two fell from the sky.
Mike twisted in mid-air again, his body suddenly stiffening. In that brief moment of hesitation, his right foot slammed into the Cursed Warrior's chest like a meteor. Then, he bent his knee, pinning the Cursed Warrior beneath him, and crashed down onto the ice cap below.
boom!
The entire ice sheet shuddered violently, and cracks spread outwards from the point of impact, like a shattered mirror. Dark seawater surged from the cracks, scattering the broken ice floes.
The cursed warrior's body was stuck in the center of the ice pit, his limbs twisted at unnatural angles, and cracks on his visor spread to his entire face.
Not moving at all.
Mike, standing at the edge of the ice pit, turned his gaze from the cursed warrior's face without breaking a sweat, and looked at Malekith, the dark elf whose expression had clearly changed not far away.
"look."
"Your subordinates are incompetent."
"bring it on."
"It's your turn!"
