The boat drifted slowly out of the crystal cave with the current.

The last section of the riverbanks was a meadow full of fluorescent flowers. The flowers bloomed in clusters, their petals a translucent pale green.

The green grass stretched from the riverbank all the way to the foot of the mountain wall, interspersed with numerous light strips, resembling an inverted Milky Way in the dim space.

After passing through the meadow of glow-in-the-dark flowers, the small boat sailed into the final station.

The platform is built outside the cave, surrounded by the same white buildings as the entrance.

As Xiao Douzi disembarked from the boat and walked into the building, she seemed quite reluctant to leave. After taking two steps, she stopped and turned around.

Stretch your neck out, stand on tiptoe and look back—

Their gaze passed over the heads of the tourists who had come out with them, and they looked several times toward the depths of the cave.

The exit of the crystal cave was covered by a thick curtain, but faint colored halos still leaked out from the edges, sometimes bright and sometimes dim, as if waving goodbye to her.

"Godfather," Xiao Douzi tugged at Lin Ye's sleeve, his eyes still shining.

She asked very seriously a question that had been bothering her: "Is there really magic in Fantastic Journey? Otherwise, how could it be so beautiful?"

She rested her hand on her chin, looking thoughtful, but after a few seconds she couldn't come up with a solution. Finally, she looked up and waited for Lin Ye's answer.

Lin Ye looked down at her, a slight smile playing on his lips, facing a question that any adult could see right through.

He didn't say "those are all fake," nor did he say "those are just stage effects," but instead chose to add a touch of beautiful imagination to Xiaodouzi's childhood:

"If Little Douzi thinks it's there, then it's there."

Upon hearing this, Xiao Douzi lowered his head, looked at the rabbit balloon in his hand that was still gently swaying, and thought about it carefully again.

Then she made her decision, her expression serious, and nodded solemnly: "I think so!"

Lin Ye took her hand and led her outside. He nodded, "Okay! There it is!"

……

Lin Ye pushed open the building door, and Xiao Douzi saw the sunlight again. The intense brightness made people feel a little dizzy.

It's like waking up from a deep dream, with the lingering echoes of the dream still in your mind, but the light of reality has already shone down.

Meanwhile, the cold air from outside came back in.

The chill suddenly enveloped them from all directions, pressing against Xiaodouzi's cheeks, which had just emerged from the warm, fantastical journey.

She couldn't help but shiver slightly. Lin Ye reached out and pulled the hood of Xiao Dou's down jacket up over the back of her head, covering her exposed ears.

Then she pulled the zipper up a little more, so that the fur trim around the edge of the hat was just against her cheek, enveloping her entire face in the fur.

Xiao Douzi felt much better. She exhaled, and her breath condensed into a large cloud of white mist in the air, like a small cloud she exhaled.

Aunt Li over there also wrapped Duoduo up tightly again.

Duoduo had taken off her hat because she was hot in the Fantastic Journey, but now Aunt Li pulled her over and she obediently lowered her head so that Aunt Li could put the white woolen hat back on.

The cold December wind also blew in along the main road, with an unreasonable force, and went straight into the collar.

It crawls through the collar and cuffs, leaving no gap untouched by fabric.

Little Douzi quickly tucked his chin into the high collar of his down jacket, burying his cheeks in the downy fur of the hood, leaving only his eyes and nose showing.

Duoduo then folded her hands together and slipped them into the cuffs of the other sleeve to keep out the wind.

Lin Ye looked up at the sky; the clouds on the horizon were much thicker than they had been in the morning.

The thin clouds that were tinged with pale orange by the sunlight in the morning have now piled up into a grayish-blue, pressing down on the horizon and obscuring most of the originally azure sky.

When sunlight leaks through the gaps in the clouds, it is no longer the straightforward and bright light of midday, but rather a pale light that appears after being filtered through the clouds.

The temperature has dropped a few degrees again.

After walking a short distance along the main road at the exit, Lin Ye led the two children into a silver building on the right.

This building is completely different from the ubiquitous European-style pointed-roof buildings that were seen before.

It is a huge oval shape, with silver metal panels on the exterior walls, coated with a reflective layer that gives it a cold sheen in the pale light.

Above the main entrance is a strip of LED lights that displays the words "5D Dynamic Cinema" in red.

The large screen at the entrance is playing today's film selection on a loop.

In the picture, a small, snow-white polar bear is clumsily gliding across the ice.

As it was gliding, suddenly its four paws slid out in four different directions, and it fell down, its chin hitting the ice and bouncing.

Then it climbed up from the ice, shook off the ice shards, and tilted its head toward the camera.

Xiao Douzi and Duo Duo stopped in their tracks and stood at the entrance, looking up as they watched the entire trailer until the title appeared on the screen at the very end—"Polar Adventure".

The two of them reluctantly turned their gaze away, and Xiao Douzi turned to look at Lin Ye.

Lin Ye smiled, pushed open the heavy soundproof door at the cinema entrance, and tilted his head towards her: "Let's go, my little princess."

Xiao Douzi smiled shyly, took Duo Duo's hand, and stepped inside.

The screening room isn't particularly large, but it's not small either; it can easily accommodate dozens of people at once.

The screen is curved, extending almost from one wall to the other, and is much larger than a regular movie theater screen.

The seats are rows of dynamic seats with a dark gray non-slip leather surface, and there are armrests and seat belts on both sides.

The entire screening room is decorated in ice blue, with several rows of ambient lights embedded in the walls that are slowly dimming. The light gradually transitions from ice blue to dark blue, as if simulating the colors of the polar regions.

Lin Ye carried Xiao Douzi to the small child seat next to the large chair in the family area. When she sat down, the back of her knees could fit perfectly on the edge of the seat.

The little girl's bear-ear snow boots were suspended in mid-air, and she gently swayed them twice.

Then Lin Ye bent down to fasten her seatbelt, which was a four-point harness that was tighter than that for adult seats.

Pull it down from both shoulders and fasten it in front of you to form a cross. The buckle makes a crisp "click" sound when it closes.

When Lin Ye sat down in the adult chair next to her, Xiao Douzi was still looking around.

She kept glancing at the huge curved screen in front of her and the ambient lights on the ceiling that were slowly dimming.

She tied the bunny balloon to the armrest of the seat, and the pink bunny ears peeked out from the side of the armrest, swaying gently with her movements.

"Godfather, why does this chair have a seatbelt?"

"Because it moves."

"It moves?" Xiao Douzi's eyes widened, but before he could ask any further questions, the lights in the hall went out completely and the screen lit up.
