I became a farmer in the apocalypse.

Lu Mingjue and Zhou Yang carried the bags into the farm and found that Jiang Li's farm had some extra lawn.

Centered around a beverage stall is a rectangular lawn of over 100 square meters, along with small agricultural product shops, all surrounded by a large circular green lawn.

"Farmer Jiang, how did you do this?" Zhou Yang asked curiously. "Did you plant this lawn yourself? It looks quite nice."

Jiang Li nodded, "I bought grass seeds and grew them myself."

The system store sells grass seeds as well as mature turf.

If you buy turf, the system will lay it out for you; you just need to select the area. However, it will be more expensive, as it is calculated by area at 10 points per square meter.

Jiang Li calculated that even after deducting the area occupied by buildings and fields, it would cost at least 300,000 points to cover the entire farm with lawn in the future.

It's too expensive; she really can't afford it.

Grass seeds are very cheap; you can buy a pound for 50 points, and an acre only needs 20 pounds of grass seeds, which is 1000 points. Even if you set up the entire farm, it will only cost 5 points, which is much cheaper than the previously calculated 30 points.

In addition, she spent 5000 points to buy a small micro-tiller, the kind that you push from behind, which is as tiring as a lawnmower.

With this, you can turn over a hundred square meters of land in just a few minutes, then sow grass seeds and turn it into a lawn—it's just a piece of cake.

Last night, Jiang Li used this method to build up the lawn around the stalls and shops, which are now the main activity areas.

As Jiang Li passed by the stall, she noticed a shiny little booklet on it.

It's more like a letter than a booklet, because there's only one page inside.

[Beverage Making Guide]

Please read this guide carefully! Understanding the characteristics of plants and their potential side effects will make beverage preparation easier.

Jiang Li: "?"

Ten years ago, a sudden and unexpected "great evolution" descended upon Earth, a blessing bestowed upon humanity by the supreme god...

Before the red rain fell, the chief god consulted with the goddess of harvest and decided to create a world of lush foliage and enormous fruit, where a tiny seed could grow into a huge fruit—a gift from the chief god to humankind…

Jiang Li: "..."

In fact, humans don't lack food, so this is unnecessary.

However, some unexpected events occurred during the actual operation.

[Originally, the Rain God was supposed to mix the holy water given to him by the Goddess of Harvest into the rainwater to bring down a bountiful harvest. However, a traitor appeared among the twelve Olympian gods, and someone poured poison into the holy water.]

With a wave of the rain god's hand, ten thousand years pass in the human world. This rain, which should have brought a bountiful harvest to humankind, has turned into a persistent poisonous rain. Plants have mutated, the grains that humans have painstakingly cultivated have become poisonous, and animals have also been affected by this poisonous rain, becoming stronger and more violent...

Up to this point, it's all background information. This is the world background described by the system. As for whether it's true or not, nobody knows. The key points of beverage making that the system wants her to master are what follows.

[Key Points for Beverage Preparation]

1. Plants are classified into common plants, heterogeneous plants, and evolved plants.

【2、特殊饮品配方合成公式：进化植物1（主增益）+进化植物2（副作用抵消）=可饮用的增益饮品。（比例9:1）】

This is the entire contents of the booklet.

Jiang Li stared blankly at the two key points, somewhat bewildered.

Evolved plants?

Xie Luan had previously explained the concept of evolved plants to her, such as the Molten Light Grass, which is a concept that distinguishes it from ordinary plants and mutated plants, and belongs to the category of evolved plants.

If making drinks requires the use of evolved plants, then the cost is too high.

Jiang Li put the booklet in her pocket and put it away, planning to take it out and study it later when she had the chance.

Lin An, along with Lu Mingjue and Zhou Yang, were in front of the garbage recycling machine.

Lu Mingjue and Zhou Yang brought a total of over 180 jin of mutated wild fruits and vegetables, all of which were giant wild fruits and vegetables that had mutated for many years, so any one of them could weigh a lot.

"234 points have been credited to your account."

After receiving the money, Lu Mingjue asked Jiang Li, "Is your shop open now?"

Jiang Li nodded. "As long as the farm gate is open, my little shop will be open for business."

"Okay, I'll use the points I earn from selling trash to buy rice so everyone can have more for lunch."

Jiang Li led them into the store.

Lu Mingjue transferred all 234 points to Jiang Li, who then weighed out 4.68 jin of coarse rice.

Watching Lu Mingjue and Zhou Yang leave, she couldn't help but think that these people sold garbage for points, then used those points to buy food from her, and in the end, she would spend all the points she earned on the system. This love triangle was quite stable.

It seems everyone got what they wanted.

In this way, as long as the triangular relationship is maintained, more and more people will be picking up trash in the future, and her little shop may be able to thrive even outside the safe zone, with a surge in foot traffic!

Today's task: Maintain a daily visitor flow of no less than 50. (Reward for completing the task: 2 gold coins; failure to complete the task: deduct the farm gate.)

Jiang Li: "?"

Are you serious about removing the farm gate?

Is the door she painstakingly built something that can be so easily pried off?

I glanced at the task progress: [Task Progress: 3/50.]

The panel even recorded the names of the tourists and the identity numbers of the survivors, and even their main activities.

[Lin An (Survivor ID: xxxxxxx): Purchased soy milk from a street vendor; now recorded as a valid tourist]

[Lu Mingjue (Survivor ID: xxxxxxx): Sold trash at the recycling machine and bought rice at the agricultural product store; recorded as a valid tourist.]

[Zhou Yang (Survivor ID: xxxxxxx): Selling trash in front of the recycling machine, already recorded...]

Can people who just come to sell garbage be included?

Then her farm is saved.

After entrusting the work at the small shop to Jiang Yan, Jiang Li took fertilizer and a small hoe and went to the apple tree.

The apple tree has grown to two meters tall and is covered with lush green leaves, but it is still a long way from flowering and bearing fruit.

Li dug a circular trench about 30 to 40 centimeters deep along the sapling, sprinkled fertilizer in it, and then filled it with soil.

Su Xiao carried the rice and duck she had bought from the safe zone back into the house.

He handed the rice bag to Su's mother, who picked it up and weighed it.

32 pounds.

"Where did the missing 8 pounds go? Did you eat them?"

Su Xiao pouted, "You have to queue at the grain station, all day long. I don't know if I'll be able to catch the bus back to the field. I bought it from a private grain store, which is more expensive than the official grain station. 2000 points can only buy this much."
