The backstage corridor lights shone on Fu Xinghe.

The moon-white Suzhou-embroidered cheongsam clung to her alluring curves. Her slender waist was so delicate it could be encircled by a single hand, leading down to a breathtakingly beautiful curve in her hips. At the slit in the cheongsam, a glimpse of her snow-white calves was faintly visible.

A sandalwood fan sways gently.

Zhu Xun Chuan stepped forward and caught a whiff of the familiar scent of sandalwood mixed with her natural fragrance. His gaze swept over her high collar, and he spoke in a low voice, "Professor Fu, are you dressed so conservatively today because you're afraid I'll see something I shouldn't?"

Fu Xinghe's ears burned. He covered half his face with his fan and lowered his voice, "Stop being so cheeky. I haven't settled the score with you from yesterday. Go wait in the wings, don't mess it up."

She turned and walked towards the dance steps, the swaying of her waist revealing an undeniable softness.

East Campus Main Playground.

A massive array of speakers unleashed a deafening roar. Brilliant lasers shot into the night sky.

More than 50,000 teachers and students filled the stands and playground to capacity.

The air pressure in the VIP seats at the very front was frighteningly low.

Xia Wanying sat in the very center. She wore a tailored black deep-V haute couture suit, with a pair of red-soled high heels under the crisp suit trousers. Her right leg was crossed over her left, and the Patek Philippe watch on her wrist, worth millions, reflected a cold, capitalist luster under the lights.

Shen Tianxi sat next to her. The little girl had changed into a camouflage workwear outfit, tactical boots, and was crunching on a lollipop, her eyes darting around, looking like a little witch ready to throw a grenade at any moment.

Jiang Yao leaned back in her chair. The zipper of her matte black motorcycle leather jacket was still stuck in a dangerous position, revealing a large expanse of white cleavage. She toyed with the sterling silver butterfly knife in her hand, the blade flashing and gleaming coldly.

The three women ignored each other, but the exclusive aura radiating from them kept everyone within a three-meter radius from daring to take a single step closer.

"Next, please enjoy the calligraphy and painting exhibition presented by Professor Fu Xinghe, a specially appointed professor of the School of Literature, and Zhu Xunchuan, a representative of the new students, on the topic of 'A Century-Old Pine Tree'."

The host's voice faded.

Dry ice rises.

Fu Xinghe walked gracefully into the stage from the left side. The big screen cut to a close-up of her.

She was aloof, noble, and untouched by worldly concerns. She was like a peerless beauty who had stepped out of a Tang or Song dynasty poem.

All the male students in the audience gasped in shock.

"Good evening, everyone." Fu Xinghe's voice was clear and melodious. "Tonight, my students and I will present a traditional Chinese ink painting of pine trees to the new book published by Peking University."

As soon as he finished speaking, Zhu Xunchuan stepped out from the right side of the stage.

A perfectly tailored black bespoke suit accentuated his broad shoulders and narrow waist, highlighting his tall and slender figure. With one hand in his pocket and a steady gait, he exuded an aura of overwhelming masculinity.

A chorus of screams erupted from the audience.

The three women in the VIP seats all stared intently at Zhu Xun Chuan.

A large golden nanmu wood painting table was placed in the center of the stage.

The Xuan paper is spread out.

Fu Xinghe stood on the right side of the painting table, holding a Duan inkstone. Zhu Xunchuan stood on the left, picking up a wolf-hair brush from the shelf.

Their eyes met.

Zhu Xun Chuan suddenly reached out his left hand without warning, not to take the ink stick, but to directly grasp Fu Xing He's right hand, which was holding the inkstone.

The entire room fell silent for a second.

The camera zooms in, and the two people's hands are clearly reflected on the big screen.

Zhu Xunchuan's rough, warm skin enveloped Fu Xinghe's soft, boneless body. His thumb rubbed against the inside of her alabaster wrist twice, with an almost aggressive, natural touch.

My fingertips brushed against the sensitive pulse.

Fu Xinghe's body trembled violently.

A flicker of panic crossed her usually aloof and dignifiedly beautiful face. The humiliating scene of being cornered and completely undone by him in the National Museum's lounge last night flooded her mind like a tidal wave.

She tried to pull her hand away, but Zhu Xun Chuan tightened his grip.

He said in a voice only the two of them could hear, "Professor Fu, the ink hasn't been ground yet, how can I begin to write?"

Fu Xinghe bit his lower lip.

The entire school's 50,000 teachers and students were watching. City bureau leaders were also watching from below the stage.

She dared not make any big moves.

Ultimately, this seemingly unapproachable daughter of the municipal party committee member and academic goddess compromised under the watchful eyes of the public.

She lowered her head slightly, a blush spreading from the base of her ears all the way to her slender swan neck. She obediently bent down, holding the ink stick in her right hand, and carefully ground the ink in the inkstone.

The collar opened slightly as she bent over. That dazzlingly deep white skin fell right into Zhu Xun Chuan's blind spot, and he saw it clearly.

Her movements as she ground the ink were very gentle, and in the blink of her eyes, the tenderness and shyness that had been completely conquered could no longer be hidden.

This is clearly an extremely ambiguous scene of a beautiful woman adding fragrance to the room.

The men in the audience had tears in their eyes.

That's Professor Fu!

The usually aloof goddess, who wouldn't even bother to speak a word to a male teacher, is now behaving like a dutiful maid, grinding ink for a freshman.

In the VIP stands.

Xia Wanying sneered and stomped her high heels on the ground.

Shen Tianxi snapped the lollipop in her mouth with a "crunch," her cheeks puffing out.

Jiang Yao slammed the butterfly knife shut in her hand, making a crisp metallic pop.

A murderous aura gathered wildly in the first row.

Zhu Xun Chuan picked up his brush and dipped it in ink.

A top-tier eye for appreciating traditional Chinese culture and master-level painting skills at their peak.

The wolf-hair brush danced across the Xuan paper. The brush moved like dragons and snakes, splashing ink like rain. In less than three minutes, a magnificent and powerful painting, "A Century-Old Pine," leaped onto the paper.

The entire audience erupted in thunderous applause.

The two people each held a corner of the Xuan paper and slowly lifted the scroll to display it to the audience.

The enormous scroll completely obscured their faces.

Fu Xinghe hid behind the Xuan paper, took a deep breath, and said in a low, coquettish voice, "Zhu Xunchuan, are you crazy! Taking advantage of me in front of tens of thousands of people?"

"Is this what you call taking advantage? You didn't say that when you slid down the bookshelf." Zhu Xun Chuan had a mischievous smile on his lips.

Fu Xinghe was so ashamed and indignant that his long legs under his cheongsam went weak.

She glanced through the edge of the scroll at the VIP seats in the first row and coldly reminded them, "Don't be so smug. You should take a look at the audience. Those tigresses are practically glaring at you, they want to devour you alive."

"What's there to be afraid of?" Zhu Xun Chuan put away the scroll. "Anyone who dares to cause trouble, I'll go to their house tonight and teach them a lesson."

Fu Xinghe's eardrums burned from his lewd remarks, and she turned around and hurriedly left in her high heels.

Zhu Xun Chuan bowed calmly and turned to walk towards the backstage passage.

Just as his right foot stepped off the stairs.

The lights on the entire East Campus playground suddenly went out.

pitch black.

silence.

Immediately afterwards, an aggressive, night-shaking, bass-heavy electronic intro slammed into everyone's eardrums.

At the very center of the stage, two scarlet spotlights descended from the sky.

"Click-click-click"

The deafening clang of gears meshing echoed throughout the venue as two massive lifting platforms, one on the left and one on the right, slowly rose from beneath the stage floor.
