"Thank you for your trouble, cousin." Zhu Xun Chuan put the car keys into his pocket.

"We're all family." Pan Shaoyu pushed up his glasses, his smile deepening. "Then I won't disturb you on your way to the company. I've already had the handover agreement for Daomei Entertainment prepared in the president's office. I wish you a successful start, sister."

Pan Shaoyu turned and left.

Su Mucheng opened the rear door of the Rolls-Royce, preparing to get in.

Zhu Xun Chuan reached out and pressed down on the car door. He then grabbed Su Mu Cheng's wrist and pulled her back to his side.

"Brother Chuan?" Su Mucheng asked, her face full of confusion.

Zhu Xun Chuan looked at the inconspicuous black Alphard van at the very back, an old car used for grocery shopping.

"Xiaobai, take Mucheng and Jiang Yao to that nanny van. You drive, take the latter half of the coastal road, slow down, and don't overtake," Zhu Xunchuan instructed.

Xiaobai nodded. Without any hesitation, she walked towards the Alphard and opened the driver's side door.

"Explain this to your sister Su," Jiang Yao frowned. Her keen intuition sensed danger. "This is a top-level armored vehicle. You want us to ride in that beat-up old tin can?"

Zhu Xun Chuan opened the driver's side door of the Rolls-Royce and got in. He rolled down the window and looked at the three women outside.

"Listen to me. Bring the orange candy and wait for me at the company." Zhu Xun Chuan's tone left no room for argument.

Su Mucheng bit her lip, not refuting. She took Jiang Yao's hand, turned around, and got into the inconspicuous Alphard.

The two cars drove out of the hillside villa one after the other. The Rolls-Royce accelerated ahead, quickly leaving the Alphard far behind.

The coastal mountain road of Hong Kong Island.

The morning sea breeze carried a salty, fishy smell. On one side of the road were towering cliffs, and on the other, the turbulent deep sea. This stretch of road had numerous curves, large blind spots, and complex conditions.

The Rolls-Royce cruised smoothly along the two-lane road. Zhu Xun Chuan gripped the steering wheel with one hand and pressed a hidden button on the center console.

"drop--"

The LCD screen showed that the central locking system on the car doors had been forcibly locked. This supposedly armored vehicle, meant to provide security, could not be opened from the outside or the inside. It had become a complete iron coffin.

Zhu Xun Chuan leaned back in his leather seat, casually reaching into the glove compartment to pull out a cigarette and light it. He lowered the window slightly and exhaled a puff of smoke.

Ahead lies a sharp bend of nearly ninety degrees.

On the cliffside sidewalk in the blind spot on the right, the roar of an engine suddenly erupted.

A heavy dump truck sped off without warning. The steel behemoth, weighing tens of tons, did not slow down and rammed directly into the driver's seat of the Rolls-Royce.

At the same time, at the bend behind, another dump truck accelerated and blocked the retreat route.

A pincer attack.

"boom!"

A deafening roar erupted on the winding mountain road.

The Rolls-Royce was struck head-on by a dump truck. The immense kinetic energy propelled the several-ton armored vehicle off the ground. The car tumbled three times in mid-air before crashing heavily onto the asphalt.

The bulletproof glass was instantly covered with spiderweb-like cracks, but it didn't shatter completely. The vehicle was severely deformed, and all four tires spun in the air. The pungent smell of gasoline mixed with the smell of burning rubber filled the air.

The dump truck braked suddenly and came to a stop.

Four burly men with buzz cuts and tattooed arms jumped out of the car. They carried Remington shotguns and iron bars and strode toward the overturned Rolls-Royce.

The burly man leading the group walked to the deformed car door. He raised his gun butt, ready to smash the cracked window and complete the final confirmation.

A dark figure leaped down from the cliff face beside the road.

No sound.

Xiao Bai, dressed in sportswear, gripped a short knife in both hands. The blade traced a cold arc in the morning light.

The burly man's neck was severed instantly. Blood spurted out, splattering onto the asphalt. He didn't even have time to pull the trigger before the body fell to one side.

The other three assassins were shocked and immediately turned their guns around.

In the woods, behind a blind spot, a dozen or so Northern agents dressed in black, carrying submachine guns, flashed out simultaneously.

The intense gunfire ended within three seconds. A one-sided massacre with no suspense whatsoever. The three assassins, riddled with bullets, lay convulsing in pools of blood.

Xiaobai walked to the driver's side door of the transformed Rolls-Royce. She put away her knife and prepared to force open the door.

"Bang!"

A muffled thud came from inside.

The severely deformed car door was kicked open from the inside by a brute force, and the entire metal door panel detached, flying three meters away and crashing into the guardrail.

Zhu Xun Chuan bent down and stepped out of the carriage. His dark gray shirt was perfectly wrinkle-free, and his hair was neatly styled. He brushed off a few shards of glass from the knees of his trousers and walked to the midst of the corpses scattered on the ground.

He raised his foot, and his custom-made black leather shoe stepped on the head of a killer who was still breathing.

The satellite phone in the assassin's pocket was vibrating.

Zhu Xun Chuan bent down, took out his phone, pressed the answer button, and put the phone, stained with a few drops of blood, to his ear.

It was quiet on the other end of the line. No one spoke first, only the faint sound of breathing could be heard.

Zhu Xun Chuan took out his windproof lighter, lit it with a "snap," and lit another cigarette for himself.

"Is everything settled?"

Finally, Pan Shaoyu's gentle voice came from the other end. Gone was the friendliness of the morning, replaced only by cold indifference.

Zhu Xun Chuan took a drag of his cigarette, and the smoke dissipated in the sea breeze.

"The car my cousin gave me does have excellent crash protection," Zhu Xun Chuan said in a steady voice, enunciating each word clearly.

There was a deathly silence on the other end of the phone. Then, there was the crisp sound of porcelain shattering, followed by gasps of shock.

Zhu Xun Chuan exerted force with his foot. The assassin who was being stepped on let out a shrill scream and immediately fainted.

"Since my cousin's no longer pretending," Zhu Xun Chuan said, holding the phone and looking at the rising sun on the distant horizon, "are you ready for my counterattack?"

The smoke of gunpowder dissipated on the winding mountain road.

Zhu Xun Chuan hung up on Pan Shao Yu and casually tossed the blood-stained satellite phone off the cliff. He lit a windproof lighter, took a deep drag of his cigarette, and the smoke he exhaled quickly blended into the sea breeze.

The Alphard minivan was parked fifty meters away. The door opened, and Su Mucheng rushed over in her black high heels. When she saw the overturned and deformed Rolls-Royce, her face instantly turned pale.

Ignoring the shards of glass scattered on the ground, she threw herself into Zhu Xun Chuan's arms, her hands groping haphazardly over his body.

"Brother Chuan, are you alright?" Su Mucheng asked anxiously, her eyes reddening.

Zhu Xun Chuan put one arm around her waist and pulled her closer to his chest.

"The bulletproof car wasn't very good, but the people inside were fine," Zhu Xun Chuan said calmly.

Jiang Yao walked over in her high heels. She glanced at the corpses of the assassins on the ground, a cold smile playing on her lips.

She walked to the other side of Zhu Xun Chuan, took the cigarette from his fingers, took a puff herself, and then put it back in his mouth.

"They're always hiring hitmen to kill people. These country bumpkins in Hong Kong really need to change their ways." Jiang Yao's eyes flashed with murderous intent.

Zhu Xun Chuan thought to himself, "Who knows this stuff better than the Jiang family?"
