What is love?

The gods live long lives, born into solitude, amidst vast desolation.

Therefore, the "love" they speak of is always deeply intertwined with "desire".

It is a solace for loneliness, a lust for physical appearance, and a release of one's selfish desires.

It is a brief descent into lust at first sight, a mutual bondage based on weighing the pros and cons, and the possessiveness of the strong in bringing their prey into their territory.

When the initial excitement fades, the relationship becomes as light as dust.

It is disposable, replaceable, and easily forgotten, making it seem extremely cheap.

The same was true of the cosmos in the past.

He was arrogant and capricious, and disdained to discuss the vague concept of "love."

At that time, His approach to and obsession with Kanas was frank and straightforward, entirely an undisguised desire.

The aggressive pursuit, the relentless probing, and the obsession with possessing Him—in His eyes, this was the best relationship between gods.

At that time, He mistook hunting for infatuation, possession for deep affection, and instinctive greed for a destined journey.

But after the accumulation of time spent together day and night, and the trials and tribulations of year after year, until the soul has been completely transformed, the cosmic thread tears away all the false veils of love in the heavens and sees through the most fundamental truth.

Love is never desire, much less a hunt.

In Zeus's heart at this moment, the essence of love is ultimate purity.

It is devoid of any selfish desires, seeks no return, expects no concessions from the other party, and does not crave worldly perfection.

It has nothing to do with possession, demanding, or gaining or losing; it is simply love that comes from the heart and originates from the soul.

He finally understood why, when he witnessed the tender and affectionate relationship between Gaia, Euros, and Kanas in Tartarus, he felt an indescribable unease and even an instinctive aversion.

At that time, He was arrogant and looked down on everyone.

Therefore, He categorized that strange feeling as disgust and discomfort.

But looking back now, it was never about rejection.

That was something hidden in His soul, something He Himself was unwilling to admit—envy.

He envied that Kanas was cherished and favored, that he envied that he had no hostility or ulterior motives, and that he envied that pure and clean emotion, untainted by desire.

He was unwilling to admit that he envied Kanas!

So He sealed away that envy, disguising it as indifference and discomfort.

But His heart never deceives Himself.

After many twists and turns, year after year, He finally found His place in this tender embrace.

Zeus was completely relieved. All the past obsession, fierceness, and arrogance in her eyes faded away, leaving only a clean and clear gentleness.

He finally dared to confront his true self.

His birth was difficult, and the environment in which he grew up was also harsh.

From the moment of His birth, He was a person from beginning to end, never being loved properly, and never truly loving anyone.

But now, He longs to be loved and is willing to actively love.

And Kanas was the only lover He personally chose, selected, and willingly went to.

hum-

Within the body of the cosmos, a subtle and gentle tremor suddenly emanated, the authority of the laws trembled slightly, and trembling sounds echoed quietly.

Unlike the domineering nature of [Thunder], the divine fluctuations emanating from Zeus's body at this moment were gentle, pure, and scorching, so clean that they were untouched by any dust.

From Zeus's perspective, a delicate, translucent, and radiant divine essence is slowly taking shape within His body.

A vibrant yet gentle pale pink halo spreads out in layers.

[Love] Godhood!

Strictly speaking, this deity belongs to the category of emotional deities, but it also has a portion of conceptual deities.

Its creation principle is very complex.

Stripped of desire, devoid of possession, and stripped of the instinct to hunt, this is the ultimate product of Zeus's self-reflection and awakening of her true self during this period.

From then on, His thunder was no longer only for judging all living beings, but also for protecting one person.

From this day forward, wind and thunder will be together forever, never to be separated.

Zeus raised her eyes, her gaze filled with the twilight sky and the figure of the blue deity before her. In her heart, she felt a peace and certainty she had never experienced since birth.

Because of her identity, Zeus has felt insecure since she was born.

To protect itself, it becomes sharp and aggressive, and enjoys taking action.

Now, He can finally relax in front of Kanas.

The fluctuations emanating from Zeus successfully caught Kanas's attention.

As a god who frequently creates deities, Kanas immediately recognized that Zeus had created a new deity.

What intrigued Him was that the divine power created by Zeus should be related to [thunder], possibly some kind of primordial divine power such as [thunderstorm] or [thunder shower].

But why is the aura emanating from Zeus so intensely hot?

Fiery, tender, pure, scalding hot.

Anyway, no matter how you look at it, it doesn't seem to be related to [Thunder].

This warmth is neither as explosive as a raging fire, nor as scorching as the sun's rays.

It was relatively gentler and more lingering, and it also carried a captivating power, causing a faint sense of intoxication to quietly rise in the heart of the usually restrained and rational Kanas.

His clear and gentle gaze settled steadily on the cosmos in front of him, his eyes swirling with clear doubt and unfathomable inquiry.

He pondered silently, carefully considering all the possibilities.

The Thunder itself likely involves a portion of the realm of High Temperatures.

So, could it be that Zeus created a temperature variant of thunder by using her original [high temperature] divine nature, thereby breaking through the shackles and giving rise to a completely new divine nature?

Or perhaps, through the explosive nature of thunder, He stumbled upon the boundary of the authority of the fire spectrum, giving birth to a godhood related to fire.

That's more likely.

After all, in their previous life, Zeus and Hera had a son named Hephaestus, the god of fire.

According to the rules of divine inheritance in the Chaos world, Hephaestus's divine nature as the god of fire is very likely derived from Zeus.

After all, lightning can ignite vegetation, thus starting a fire.

Although these ideas were reasonable, Kanas always felt that they didn't quite match the feeling he was experiencing.

This scalding heat doesn't seem to be hot in terms of temperature.

Zeus quietly met His gaze, which was full of inquiry and curiosity. The arrogant sharpness in His eyes had long since melted away, replaced by a simple and easy-to-understand playfulness.

He let the pink divine aura radiate light, let the burning divine power unique to love overflow his body, his slightly hoarse voice carrying warmth, his eyes fixed on Kanas, and said:

"You're confused, aren't you?"

"It's okay, I'll show you how it works."

Zeus licked her lips, stood up, and pounced straight at Kanas.

"Wait...wait...um!"
