Border Prisoner: The Mad Boss Seduces Her Every Night
Chapter 134 1 Itchy Brother Misses You
Shi Luyu walked to the door, hesitated for a moment, then went back and took the Polaroid camera that Xu Yuanjia had given her out of the box, placed it on the table, and did not take it with her.
She didn't want his things, she didn't want anything!
When she came downstairs, Xu Qingyao was standing in the living room, holding a half-finished cup of tea. When she saw her dragging her suitcase down, she raised an eyebrow but did not stop her.
As Shi Luyu passed by her, she bowed her head and said, "Thank you for taking care of me, sister. I'll be going now," and then quickly walked out the door.
Xu Qingyao took a sip of tea behind her and said slowly, "Be careful on the road."
Shi Luyu did not turn around; she no longer had the strength to do so.
There were no cars in the yard, so she walked to the foot of the mountain before she could flag down a taxi.
She closed the trunk, got into the back seat, and gave the airport's name. The car had barely driven two hundred meters when a black sedan pulled up behind, slowed, skidded, and stopped next to her taxi.
The rear window rolled down, and Xu Yuanjia's face appeared behind it, wearing that familiar lazy smile.
"Driver, pull over for a moment." His voice was neither too loud nor too soft, just enough to come through the half-open car window.
The taxi driver glanced at Shi Luyu in the rearview mirror. Shi Luyu turned her face to the window: "Ignore him, keep driving."
Xu Yuanjia's car followed at a leisurely pace, with the two cars maintaining almost parallel speeds.
He lowered the car window a little more, rested his arm on the windowsill, and tilted his head to look at her. "Sweetie, you're really ignoring your brother?"
Shi Luyu remained silent.
Xu Yuanjia's car followed for a while, then accelerated, overtook the taxi, and stopped at the zebra crossing not far ahead.
He got out of the car, leaned against the door, and waited for the taxi to pull up in front of him before bending down and knocking on the back window.
Shi Luyu lowered the window a crack, just enough for his voice to escape, not enough for him to reach in: "Move aside."
"No." Xu Yuanjia rested his hand on the edge of the car window. "Wherever you go, I'll go."
Shi Luyu rolled up the car window. The taxi restarted and drove past Xu Yuanjia.
She saw him get into the car in the rearview mirror. The black sedan caught up again, this time not alongside him, but following him at a distance, like a tail that couldn't be shaken off.
The car window was tinted, so she couldn't see him, but she knew he was there.
I followed them all the way to the airport.
The taxi stopped at the departure level, and Shi Luyu got out with her suitcase and quickly walked into the terminal.
As she was checking in, she caught a glimpse of Xu Yuanjia standing by a pillar not far away, his hands in his pockets, talking to a uniformed ground staff member.
The ground staff member nodded, his attitude as respectful as if he were being reprimanded by a superior. Shi Luyu looked away and gripped her boarding pass tightly.
She passed through security and sat down in the waiting area. Her phone vibrated—Xu Yuanjia: "Goodness, I really didn't lie to you this time. That passport was confiscated because of internal Xu family matters, and the Songtan thing was just to deliberately annoy you."
She didn't reply; she turned off her phone screen.
The announcement came on, and boarding began for her flight.
Shi Luyu stood up, joined the queue, and moved forward step by step. The staff at the boarding gate checked her boarding pass, glanced up at her, and smiled excessively gently: "Ms. Shi, this way please."
She followed the staff across the jet bridge and into the cabin.
The cabin door was wide, and inside there were no rows of economy class seats. The floor was covered with dark gray carpet, the lighting was soft, and there was a faint citrus scent in the air.
Shi Luyu stopped in her tracks.
This wasn't the flight she booked; it was a private jet.
It was as spacious as a living room, with off-white leather sofas, a dark wood bar counter, and a wine cabinet behind the bar counter, displaying neatly arranged glasses and several unopened bottles of wine.
Next to the porthole was a double bed with light gray silk bedding and fluffy pillows.
The entire aircraft resembled a luxurious suite that had been carried into the sky, hovering quietly on the tarmac.
"Ms. Shi, please make yourself at home." The staff member bowed slightly and left the cabin.
The hatch closed behind her.
Shi Luyu stood there, still clutching her boarding pass, and turned to see Xu Yuanjia walking out from the cockpit.
He changed into a thin, dark gray sweater, the sleeves loosely rolled up to his forearms. Holding a glass of water, he leaned against the bar, tilting his head to look at her, a smile on his lips that she both loved and hated.
"Welcome aboard, sweetie," he said casually, as if greeting a guest in his own living room, and straightened up to walk toward her.
Shi Luyu stood rooted to the spot, a surge of energy rising in her chest. Her gaze swept over the fruit knife on the bar.
A silver, sharp blade was stuck next to a plate of sliced fruit. She walked over, pulled out the knife, turned around, and pointed the tip at him.
The blade gleamed coldly under the cabin lights, and her fingers were clenched tightly, the tips turning white.
"Don't come near me." Her voice was a little hoarse, but every word was enunciated clearly. "You're a dirty, bad man."
"Come any closer, and I'll castrate you!"
Xu Yuanjia did not retreat.
Her eyes were still red, her nose was red, and her lips were pressed into a line. She looked like a cat with its tail standing up and its fur standing on end. She was clearly terrified, but she still had to put on a show of wanting to eat people.
He chuckled softly.
He was laughing heartily, even bending over slightly, his shoulders trembling slightly. Shi Luyu's hand holding the knife twitched. "What are you laughing at!"
Xu Yuanjia straightened up and wiped the moisture from the corners of his eyes as he laughed.
"This is the little rabbit I know."
He said, "When I'm angry, I bite. I'd rather die a glorious death than live a shameful life."
"I'm not a rabbit!" Shi Luyu's voice rose, and the tip of the knife moved forward half an inch.
Xu Yuanjia didn't dodge; he took a step forward, his collar almost touching the tip of the knife.
His gaze fell on her face, the smile on his lips faded slightly, and his voice lowered.
"During the time we were apart, I was dealing with the Xu family's affairs. Xu Chenglin's death was used by the fourth branch of the family to stir up trouble, and Xu Qingyao contacted the elders of the Xu family. They joined forces to suppress me before I could take over."
He stood there in front of the knife's edge, looking at her, and said, word by word, "When you weren't here, I didn't see Song alone. I swear, she wasn't in my eyes."
Shi Luyu loosened her grip on the knife slightly: "I don't believe it."
Xu Yuanjia looked down at his lower abdomen.
He reached out and slowly unbuttoned the bottom of his sweater. "The bullet that shot me in the leg for you still itches on rainy days."
"I miss you as soon as I feel an itch, but you, my dear, don't even ask me about it."
Shi Luyu's gaze fell on her trouser leg.
She had seen the scar before, in the dressing room, late at night, when he was asleep; her fingers had once lingered there through the fabric.
She remembered his slightly furrowed brows, and how he had mumbled in her ear that he shouldn't look.
Her fingers loosened and tightened on the knife handle, causing the tip of the knife to deviate by an inch.
"Who knows if you and she have anything going on..." She didn't finish her sentence, her voice already nasal.
Xu Yuanjia looked into her eyes: "I'm very traditional."
He said, "Since you took my virginity last time, you have to be responsible for me for the rest of your life."
Shi Luyu's face flushed red instantly. "You... what nonsense are you talking about! It was clearly you—"
"What?" Xu Yuanjia took another step forward. This time, his chest lightly touched the tip of the knife. The blade brushed against the thin fuzz of his sweater without cutting him.
"You took what was mine, and I took what was yours; we've long since settled our scores."
Shi Luyu's hand went completely limp.
The knife slipped from her fingers and landed silently on the carpet. She looked down at the knife lying on the dark gray velvet, its blade gleaming.
Her eyes welled up with tears again, but she bit her lip tightly, refusing to cry: "I...I won't take responsibility for dirty men."
Xu Yuanjia reached out and grasped her wrist. Her wrist was cool and felt exceptionally delicate in his palm.
He lowered his head, his lips brushing against her knuckles: "Dirty? Looks like I need to clear up that little misunderstanding in your mind first."
He scooped her up and placed her on the bed, looking down at her.
As he bent over, the collar of his sweater slipped down slightly, revealing a section of his collarbone.
"Sweetie, why don't you get it checked?"
