Border Prisoner: The Mad Boss Seduces Her Every Night
Chapter 175 Open Air
The days began to feel long and empty.
The entire villa is like a gleaming cage, with every window so transparent that you can see the garden and distant mountains outside.
But every single door was locked tightly.
She examined the window lock; it was electronically controlled, with no keyhole or keypad, only a fingerprint sensor embedded in a groove on the side of the window frame.
Xu Yuanjia occasionally goes out during the day, and the affairs of the Xu family do not stop running just because he is keeping a woman locked up.
After he left, only she and a few servants who didn't speak up were left in the entire villa. The corridor was so quiet that she could hear the echo of her own footsteps.
She started keeping herself busy.
Some repetitive actions are needed to fill those idle gaps.
Finally, she found that the swimming pool was a nice place.
At least the pool water wouldn't torment her.
When she immersed herself in the liquid, the buoyancy of the liquid supported her limbs, making her feel much lighter.
She doesn't know any other swimming styles, only breaststroke.
My leg kicks and arm strokes weren't very smooth, but after swimming a few laps, my heart rate and breathing quickened, and my muscles started to feel sore and swollen.
This physical exhaustion actually made her feel more awake.
Shi Luyu gripped the railing by the pool, took a deep breath, pushed off the pool wall, and swam out again.
She swam to the other side, turned around, pushed off the wall, and swam back.
By the sixth round, another sound mingled with the water's murmur—footsteps.
It came from the direction of the locker room.
I stepped slowly and deliberately onto the wet, non-slip mat, making a dull thud.
It was Xu Yuanjia.
It's him again.
She didn't stop. Pretending not to hear, she continued swimming forward, her arms splashing through the water.
But the ripples on the water changed, and she felt something fall from the shore into the water, creating a large splash that covered her face.
She choked on some water, immediately changed direction, and swam towards the edge of the pool.
The moment my fingers touched the tiles on the edge of the pool, my ankle was precisely gripped by something.
The hand emerged from underwater, its fingers long and slender, its strength precise.
"Gurgle...!"
Shi Luyu was instantly dragged back into the water, and the surging pool water submerged her head.
"Got you." His voice came up from underwater in a muffled tone, tinged with laughter.
As the water closed in, in her panic, she saw the underwater lights being sliced into countless broken blue fragments by the ripples.
Shi Luyu held her breath and struggled, kicking her legs twice in an attempt to reach the bottom of the pool, but she couldn't.
Xu Yuanjia's hand slid from her ankle to her waist, lifting her up. Her face had barely emerged from the water when she choked and coughed.
The man's large hand wiped the water droplets from her face, his fingertips brushing against her brow bone and bridge of her nose.
His lips brushed against her wet forehead, his voice whispering in her ear, "Can't even breathe properly, and you think you can run?"
She was still coughing, so she reached out and pushed his shoulder twice, but he didn't budge.
"Let me go!" Her voice was hoarse and urgent, and water droplets dripped from her chin into the pool.
"What if you sink to the bottom if I let go?" he asked lazily, his hand still resting on her back.
Shi Luyu's feet, however, could not reach the bottom of the pool.
We can only rely on him to keep things going.
His palm was pressed against her back, and through the swimsuit fabric, the warmth of his palm seeped into her skin through the water.
He let her float on the water and supported her waist to keep her balance.
"Try it yourself," he said. "I won't let go, you try treading water."
With nowhere to put her fingers, she braced them on either side of his shoulders, the water rippling and pushing against her body, causing her to sway slightly in the water.
She tried to kick her leg, and her body tilted slightly. His hand immediately tightened around her waist, straightening her up.
"Don't keep your legs too close together," Xu Yuanjia said casually, but he was quite serious about teaching.
"Spread out a little, pedal slowly."
"Shut up." She gritted her teeth and kicked again, this time more steadily.
He didn't say anything more, but simply held her and slowly spun her around in the pool.
"Relax," he said, sliding his other hand down from her lower back to above her tailbone, his thumb gently massaging along her spine.
"Don't tense your legs so much, it will only make them feel heavier."
Her hand slid off his shoulder as she tried to paddle, but after kicking her legs twice, her body began to sink again.
He grabbed her waist and lifted her back to the surface of the water.
"Look at me."
Shi Luyu turned her head away, but Xu Yuanjia reached out and turned her face back, pinching her chin with his fingers to force her to face him.
"Watch my breathing rhythm. Inhale—hold—sink down—surface and exhale."
He demonstrated once, lowering his head and sinking into the water, where a string of bubbles rose to the surface.
When he surfaced again, a water droplet clung to his eyelashes, glistening briefly under the light.
For some reason, she looked like a kindergarten teacher, guiding children step by step.
She watched his lips and the rhythm of his breathing, being forced by him to try it again and again.
Inhale, hold your breath, sink, and float back up to exhale.
Each time she sank, her body became more relaxed than the last time.
His hand remained on her waist, ready to scoop her up at any moment.
As she floated to the surface, water droplets trickled from his fingers and fell back onto the water's surface.
She reached out and pushed him, pressing her palm against his chest.
Beneath her palm was his heartbeat, steady and unhurried, a stark contrast to her rapid one.
Why is he always so confident?
"Enough." Shi Luyu was unwilling to continue wallowing in this situation any longer; her voice was hoarse with resistance.
"I can do it myself."
"What can I do?" He looked at her, withdrew his fingers from her waist, stepped back a little, and leaned against the pool wall.
"Swim back." She glared at him, then turned and swam toward the edge of the pool.
After a couple of strokes, the rhythm of his leg kicks became erratic, and his body began to sink.
It's all Xu Yuanjia's fault!
She used to know how to swim the breaststroke, but he messed up her mind, and now she can't even do it anymore.
She choked on some water and frantically thrashed her arms across the surface.
He reached out and grabbed her waist, pulling her back to the surface of the water.
He scooped her up, and without thinking, she coughed and buried her face in his shoulder.
His wet hair brushed against his neck.
He looked down at the top of her head, reached out and ran his hand through her wet hair, his fingertips gently stroking her scalp:
"Wow, that's amazing! You swam three meters all by yourself."
She was so angry that she punched him, her fist landing lightly on his shoulder with a splashing sound.
He lowered his head and kissed her forehead, then turned around and carried her to the edge of the pool.
……
Xu Yuanjia was off work that evening, so he stayed home with her.
They say they'll accompany you, but who knows what kind of trouble they'll cause.
Shi Luyu decided to avoid it.
She stepped out through the glass door of the terrace, and a sudden gust of night wind rushed in, blowing her hair back.
The rooftop was quite empty, surrounded by a towering iron fence; it was barely a place where one could breathe fresh air.
Several potted plants and an iron recliner were placed together.
She walked to the railing, propped herself up on her arms, and looked out.
There was a hidden small platform outside the mezzanine, which she discovered after observing for many days.
It wasn't too high. She put one leg over the railing, shifted half her weight over it, and was about to try to put the other leg over as well.
The sound of footsteps approached steadily from behind.
Then a pair of hands gripped her waist and lifted her down from the railing.
"How did you find out again?" Shi Luyu couldn't help but mutter.
"It's really... like a persistent ghost."
Her feet touched the ground again.
"Knowing you can't escape, why do you keep challenging your brother's bottom line?" Xu Yuanjia wasn't angry.
He pulled a thin, long silver chain from his pocket.
Shi Luyu instinctively sensed something was wrong: "You're going to... um!"
"So, brother can only interpret it as Lulu deliberately seeking punishment." As he spoke, he wrapped her wrists around the wrought iron railing of the terrace, one loop after another.
"Lulu likes being treated like this by her brother, right?"
The latch clicked shut, and the cool metal pressed against her wrist.
"It's nice to stand here and enjoy the breeze; your brother is watching you."
He stepped back, sat down on the nearby recliner, crossed his long legs, and fixed his gaze on her.
She struggled twice, and the chain was pulled straight, becoming a taut line connecting her wrists to the railing with a crisp sound.
"Xu Yuanjia, let me go..."
Her voice was somewhat carried away by the night wind, but the anger within it remained clear.
He leaned back in the recliner, one hand behind his head and the other on the armrest, watching her struggle.
Her wrists were marked with red welts from the chains, and with each struggle, the sound of the chains colliding with the wrought iron railings echoed across the terrace.
A night breeze swept in, and she was only wearing a white shirt. The wind blew the fabric of the shirt against her body, outlining the lines of her waist and collarbone.
"Have you finished cursing?" His voice came from the recliner, neither loud nor soft.
"No!" she glared at him.
"You put me down? Do you think I can't get out just because you've locked me up? I can still get out when you're not around—"
"Ha..." He interrupted her, stood up from the recliner, and walked step by step to her.
"You know, I'm the best at dealing with energetic little rabbits who love to run around everywhere."
She glared at him, her lips pressed into a thin line, her chest heaving with anger.
He stood in front of her, looking down at her eyes, which were red from anger, and reached out to unbutton the first button of her shirt.
Her breath hitched for a moment. "Xu Yuanjia, what are you doing—"
He didn't answer. The second button was also undone, and the night breeze blew in, its coolness directly touching her chest.
Her body trembled slightly.
His fingers continued downwards, and his arms slowly wrapped around her waist.
"Make sure the baby is so well-behaved that she has no energy left to hide from her brother."
"Right here, outdoors."
