No one spoke for a moment in the warehouse.

The collapsed iron gate lay on the ground, its edges twisted, and the dust from the friction between the steel plate and the cement had not yet completely settled.

Sea breezes blew in through several broken windows high up, and shards of glass hung on the window frames, occasionally colliding gently in the wind, making a soft, sharp sound.

The port whistles sounded loudly.

A deep rumble echoed across the rows of shipping containers, penetrated the thick walls, and pressed down into the tense silence.

The dozen or so people that Kunsa brought have regrouped.

They stood in rows in the center of the warehouse, some holding guns, others iron bars and short knives, their expressions fierce, but their postures somewhat chaotic.

Some people were still reeling from the commotion of the door being broken down; their grip on their guns tightened involuntarily, and their eyes kept drifting towards the massive SUV.

On the other side, Xu Yuanjia stood right in the center of the two forces.

Behind him was the black SUV that had crashed straight through the warehouse's iron gate. Its height nearly blocked half the wall, and its matte paint obscured the light.

The sturdy crash beam was still supported by a large piece of deformed sheet metal. The front of the car was cold, hard, and heavy. The engine was still running, humming softly, like a black behemoth that had just entered the hunting grounds and was still suppressing its ferocity.

On the left is Zhou Ji.

Behind him stood more than a dozen men in black, standing at almost the same distance from each other. No one spoke or looked around.

Everyone's eyes were fixed ahead, their shoulders slightly hunched, ready to strike at any moment.

On the right is firewood.

He still held his gun, his brow furrowed with suppressed rage from the chase. Behind him, another group formed a semi-circle, completely sealing off all exits and high windows on the right side of the warehouse.

The two sides closed in, and a tight encirclement had silently taken shape.

Xu Yuanjia, however, appeared overly relaxed.

A black matte leather jacket draped loosely over her body, the hem swaying gently with her steps, outlining her slender and upright figure.

The smoky gray washed trousers made her legs look exceptionally long, and a pair of black patent leather ankle boots stepped over the broken glass on the ground, revealing a hint of rich red on the soles. Under the cold warehouse lights, they exuded a touch of nonchalant nobility.

The shoe surface is clean and has a sharp, cool sheen.

Occasionally, as I took a step, a splash of vibrant red from the sole of my boot would flash through the shadows, disappearing in an instant, like a line of blood on the edge of the night.

He stood there, his posture relaxed, yet his shoulders and back were straight.

A few strands of hair on her forehead were blown by the sea breeze. Her face was half-submerged in the cold light of the warehouse overhead lights and car headlights. Her brow bone was clear, her nose was straight, and her thin lips were slightly pursed. Her bone structure was so beautiful that it was like an exquisite work of art.

There was no obvious anger, nor did he seem anxious.

But the more this is the case, the less people dare to act rashly.

Shi Luyu was tied to a wooden pillar inside the warehouse. The indigo blue diagonal-front short shirt that local women often wore was already somewhat disheveled, with dust on her shoulders, and her colorful woven waistband had also tilted to one side during the struggle.

Her dark long dress hung down to her feet, the hem creating several wrinkles that accentuated her slender, fair ankles.

Her wrists were bound behind her back with hemp rope, and her skin was chafed and turned red.

Even in such a cold and dirty environment, her face remained strikingly pale. A few strands of black hair fell from the edge of her headscarf, clinging to her cheeks, and the corners of her eyes still bore the redness from her forced crying.

She looked up at Xu Yuanjia, her eyes still bright.

The shock had not completely subsided, but fear was clearly pressing down beneath.

She hadn't expected him to appear so quickly.

I never expected him to barge in so forcefully.

The two men stared at each other across half a warehouse.

Xu Yuanjia looked down at her from his high position.

He tilted his head slightly, his gaze slowly sweeping across her face before settling on her wrists, which were red from being bound by ropes.

He paused for two seconds, then suddenly a smile appeared on his lips.

Light and aloof, yet carrying an inexplicable danger.

Shi Luyu's heart tightened.

But Xu Yuanjia didn't speak to her.

He quickly shifted his gaze to Sheng Kun, who was also tied to a pillar next to her.

Sheng Kun was just trying to spit the rag out of his mouth.

When she met Xu Yuanjia's gaze, she froze instantly.

Xu Yuanjia raised an eyebrow. "I forgot to thank you."

He spoke in a lazy tone, even with a hint of politeness that was half-smile, "These past few days, you've taken good care of my wife."

Sheng Kun's face turned pale on the spot.

He desperately spat out the rag, a few threads still clinging to the corner of his mouth, and when he spoke, his tongue was barely able to straighten, "Brother—"

"No, Mr. Jia!" His shoulders were tense, and he quickly forced a smile, which looked more like a grimace.

"Master Jia, please, please don't do this!"

"How could I possibly deserve your thanks? What am I to you!"

As Sheng Kun spoke, he wished he could shrink himself into a pillar on the spot.

He knew very well that the more polite Xu Yuanjia was, the bigger the debt became.

The arm in the casino still ached as if it hadn't cooled down completely, and now he had taken Shi Luyu so far without permission. Just thinking about it made him feel like he might lose both his legs.

Xu Yuanjia scoffed softly, "Good to know."

His eyes were unfocused, but his voice trailed off coldly, "We'll settle our score later."

Sheng Kun's lips twitched, and he fell silent completely.

Kunsa, standing to the side, was left out in the cold the whole time.

First, Xu Yuanjia ignored him. Then, he watched helplessly as Xu Yuanjia spoke to Sheng Kun as if no one else was around, as if he wasn't even a worthy opponent to be looked at.

Kunsa's face gradually darkened.

In front of so many subordinates, Xu Yuanjia didn't even glance at him once, instead talking to others as if no one else was around, clearly not taking him seriously.

He couldn't swallow this insult, no matter what. "Xu Yuanjia!"

Kunsha took a sudden step forward, a vein throbbing on his forehead, his broken eyebrow twitching violently. "You fucking idiot, stop ignoring me!"

He raised his gun, pointed it forward, and cursed in a rough voice, "Let me tell you, I'm not afraid of you!"

Xu Yuanjia finally turned his face away.

He glanced at Kunsa first, then suddenly raised his hand, his long index finger gently stroking his brow.

His movements were slow, as if he had finally heard a joke. "Is that so?"

His smile deepened, but his voice remained calm, as if he had just piqued the interest of the person in front of him. "Boss Kun."

Kunsha was even more annoyed by being called "boss," much like an adult casually brushing off a tantrum-throwing child, "You fucking—"

Xu Yuanjia completely ignored his shouts.

His gaze fell on the wooden stick at his feet.

With a gentle flick of the toe of a black patent leather boot, the wooden stick flipped through the air.

Xu Yuanjia didn't even lift his eyelids. He raised his hand and caught it in his palm. The wooden stick circled halfway in his hand before being firmly grasped. The movement was casual and graceful, carrying a nonchalant roguish charm.

Xu Yuanjia tapped the ground with the end of the stick.

"despair."

The sound wasn't loud, but it was like an extremely clear signal.

Immediately afterwards, he raised his eyes, casually waved his hand forward, the movement almost perfunctory.

Zhou Ji and Chai Ye moved at the same time.

"The left side is mine," Zhou Ji said calmly, already stepping out.

Chai sneered and tucked the gun behind his waist. "Don't try to rob me."

As soon as the words were spoken, the two groups of men in black rushed forward almost simultaneously.

The scene suddenly erupted.

Kunsa's henchmen instinctively raised their guns.

The man in black at the front had already rushed into their midst. Someone sidestepped the gun barrel, grabbed the other man's gun-wielding arm with their wrist, and twisted it outwards.

The joints made a dull thud.

The gun fell to the ground with a thud.

Another person raised their knee and slammed it into the lower abdomen. As the other person bent over, they pressed their elbow directly onto the back of the neck, slamming the person down onto the concrete floor.

The movements were clean and efficient, without the slightest unnecessary pause.

On the left, someone wielding an iron rod charged towards Zhou Ji.

Zhou Ji's expression didn't even change. He sidestepped, grabbed the man's wrist with his five fingers, and used the momentum to pull him forward. The man lost his balance and fell forward. Zhou Ji snatched the iron rod away and swept the end of the rod across the man's knee.

The man's knees buckled, and he knelt down on the spot.

Zhou Ji immediately stepped on his shoulder and back, pressing him firmly to the ground, and said, "Tie him up."

He only uttered one word, and the people behind him immediately stepped forward and bound his hands behind his back with a strap.

On the other side, Chai fought even more fiercely.

Someone swung a knife horizontally at him, and he raised his arm to block it, simultaneously striking the opponent's elbow with his palm. As the knife was knocked to the ground, Chai also punched the man in the jaw.

The man staggered backward, and Chai chased after him, grabbing him by the collar and slamming him onto the wooden crate.

The box shook violently.

He turned to Zhou Ji and raised his eyebrows. "Two now."

Zhou Ji had just taken down the third person when he heard this, and without even looking at him, said, "Three."

Chai's face darkened. "You're fucking fast at counting."

Zhou Ji said coldly, "You talk too much."

The two exchanged barbs, but their hands moved with equal speed.

One guards the left, the other presses down on the right.

Anyone who tried to get close to Xu Yuanjia was intercepted by them beforehand.

Xu Yuanjia remained standing in the same spot.

He didn't even move an inch, just held the wooden stick in one hand, his expression nonchalant, his eyelids half-closed, as if the chaotic battle before him had nothing to do with him.

But ironically, the very act of standing there exuded the strongest oppressive aura in the entire warehouse.

All the men in black tacitly avoided the area in front of him; not one of them could cross it even half a step.

Sheng Kun was tied to the wooden post, his eyes wide with astonishment.

He couldn't help but swallow hard, muttering under his breath, "Damn... this is Master Jia."

"I don't even need to lift a finger; just standing there and keeping order is enough."

"He's fucking handsome, and he's genuinely awesome."

As he finished speaking, he silently shrank his neck and couldn't help but add, "It's over, I'm doomed this time."

Kunsa's men, who usually relied on their numbers, actually fought haphazardly with no coordination whatsoever. Some tried to fire their guns but had their vision blocked by their own men; others swung their knives wildly, nearly injuring their own comrades first.

Xu Yuanjia's men were well-trained.

Two people per group.

The front line is responsible for disarming the enemy, and the rear is immediately brought under control.

In just a few dozen seconds, a number of people had collapsed in the warehouse.

Seeing that the situation was not going well, the remaining people began to retreat.

However, all four exits had already been sealed off.

Some tried to escape through the side door, but were kicked back to the center of the warehouse by the men in black guarding there; others tried to climb out of the window, but as soon as they stepped onto the wooden crates, the men guarding outside the window pointed guns at their foreheads, and they could only stiffly raise their hands.

The last remaining underling looked around.

The iron rod in his hand clattered to the ground. He slowly squatted down and covered his head.

The battle ended in a surprisingly swift manner.

Before Kunsa could even issue a second order, all his men had already been forced to their knees.

The atmosphere in the warehouse was completely reversed.

Xu Yuanjia did not move more than a few steps from beginning to end.

He simply stood in front of the black SUV, holding a wooden stick, looking nonchalant, as if the overwhelming control before him was nothing more than his subordinates clearing away some unsightly debris.

Kunsa finally panicked, and his hand holding the gun began to tremble.

He tried to lift it up, but Chai grabbed his wrist.

"Let go," Chai said coldly.

Kunsha still tried to struggle. Zhou Ji had already stepped forward from the other side, his five fingers precisely hooking around Kunsha's shoulder joint, and pressing him down.

Kunsa's entire arm instantly lost its strength.

The gun fell to the ground. Chai kicked it away and twisted his other arm behind his back.

The two men, one on each side, forced Kunsa to bend over.

Xu Yuanjia then moved and slowly walked over.

The shiny leather ankle boots made a crisp, unhurried sound as they stepped over the shards of glass scattered on the ground.

He stopped in front of Kunsa and raised his stick.

He pointed the stick lightly at Kunsha and lazily commanded, "Hold him down."

Zhou Ji and Chai Ye simultaneously increased their force, causing Kunsha's knees to buckle and nearly causing him to kneel down.

"Xu Yuanjia!" He was both shocked and furious, and desperately looked up.

Xu Yuanjia ignored him, his eyes lowered as he fiddled with the wooden stick.

He flicked his wrist twice, the stick tracing a clean arc in his palm. Then, he held the stick to the side of Kunsa's head, as if carefully searching for the right angle.

Kunsha's face completely changed: "You dare!"

"You dare try hitting me with a wooden stick!"

Xu Yuanjia stopped moving.

After a half-second pause, he chuckled softly, "That's right."

He clicked his tongue, as if reminded of something, "I'm not some street thug."

"How could I possibly use a wooden stick on you?"

Before Kunsha could even catch his breath, Xu Yuanjia had already casually tossed the wooden stick aside.

Then, he spread out one hand to the side, and the man in black behind him immediately stepped forward.

He handed over a heavy black sniper rifle with both hands.

Kunsa's eyes widened instantly.

Xu Yuanjia took the gun with one hand and casually hoisted it onto his shoulder, the butt pressing down on his broad shoulder line to create a cold, hard curve.

The black leather jacket and heavy firearms made him appear even more sharp and dangerous.

The next moment he raised his gun.

Loading.

"Click".

The clear sound of machinery fell into the silent warehouse.

The dark muzzle of the gun was pressed directly against Kunsa's forehead.
