Border Prisoner: The Mad Boss Seduces Her Every Night

Chapter 5 Mistakenly Identifying My Brother

The mountain road winds its way from the temple, still damp from the rain.

Xu Yuanjia was driving down the mountain and had just turned onto the tree-lined road at the south gate of Taimai University when a drunk man suddenly rushed out and blocked his car. If Xu hadn't been a skilled driver, the man would have been thrown into the air by now.

The other party was clearly trying to stage an accident. He started by banging hard on the hood of the car, and when that didn't work, he simply pounced on the car and clung to it, cursing and saying that he had been hit and demanding money.

"Driving such a luxury car, you think you can just leave without paying hundreds of thousands in damages?"

The man, with a face full of scars, was so drunk that his eyes were glazed over. He still dared to climb out of the car and lean into the driver's seat, spewing out a string of foul language, and even went so far as to try to pull on the car door.

Xu Yuanjia sat in the car, his long, pale fingers resting on the steering wheel, his expression extremely indifferent.

He barely slept last night and only came down from the mountain temple at dawn. He was already in a bad mood, and to make matters worse, some filthy thing just crashed into him like a drunken stray dog.

There was a gun in the car.

But he was too lazy to use it.

He preferred the swift, clean descent of a bullet to the feeling of a sharp blade cutting through his throat. Warm flesh was ripped open, blood gushed out, and his voice shattered inside his throat.

That process was more exhilarating than firing a gun.

A few minutes later, the drunkard was already lying in his trunk.

The cut on my neck was deep, and blood was seeping out little by little, accumulating into a dark red pool along the edge of the waterproof pad.

Xu Yuanjia showed no emotion, his long legs half-curled up on the back of the car, as he slowly wiped the remaining bloodstains off his shoes.

But at that moment, a soft little hand suddenly grabbed him from behind.

Xu Yuanjia frowned subconsciously, glanced down, and caught a glimpse of a woman's slender, warm fingertips that suddenly slipped into his palm without warning, pressing against the bloodstains that hadn't yet been wiped clean from his hand.

"Brother Jiajia—we've finally found you!"

The girl's voice was light and cheerful, with a hint of panting from running, like a ray of light gently enveloping you, the sweet scent of peaches lingering at your nose, making your olfactory nerves tingle uncontrollably.

It is extremely uncomfortable.

Xu Yuanjia's eyes suddenly darkened.

He slowly lifted his eyelids, his eyes filled with a cold and impatient murderous intent.

But when his gaze fell on her face, Xu Yuanjia couldn't help but squint and pause slightly.

is her.

The girl who was shot by his arrow that day and still managed to escape from a pile of corpses.

A silent scrutiny briefly wiped away the murderous intent in his eyes.

The girl was fair-skinned, as if she had never been stained with the blood and mud of that night at the Buddhist temple. Her black hair cascaded down her back, her lips were red and her teeth were white, and her amber eyes were like glass polished with alcohol, clear and bright, revealing nothing of her thoughts.

She stood there in the sun, carrying a large bag that was almost bending her thin shoulders, with an activity badge tucked between her fingers and her chest.

Xu Yuanjia lowered his eyes and glanced at the name on the girl's name tag.

Stone exposed jade.

He slightly raised an eyebrow, the murderous intent surging in his eyes gradually subsiding, leaving only a trace of ambiguous interest.

I didn't even recognize him.

Not only did they not recognize him, they mistook him for someone else.

Shi Luyu was still holding his hand, chattering on and on: "I wandered around the school for ages, I thought I'd gone to the wrong place. Do you remember when you were little?"

"Back then, I always liked to pester you to play. When our two families ate together, I always had to sit next to you. My aunt and uncle even joked that I would definitely be the clingiest to you when I grew up."

She spoke naturally, her little face unable to hide the joy of reuniting with her "childhood sweetheart brother" after so long.

Xu Yuanjia subtly withdrew his hand, silently watching her, finding it amusing.

After a long pause, he suddenly spoke without warning, his tone laced with a sinister, amused tone: "How have you been... while we've been apart?"

Like a wisp of cool air brushing against your earlobe in the night, carrying a damp and chilly feeling.

Shi Luyu, however, did not notice anything amiss. She took it as a gentle greeting after a long separation and smiled, her eyes crinkling. "It's fine. My parents have been doing business here for the past two years. After I finished my college entrance exam, I thought I might as well come to Southeast Asia to study and be closer to them."

As she spoke, she turned to pick up her large backpack.

"I'll put the bag in the trunk first—"

She reached out and touched the trunk release. But as soon as the trunk lid popped open a tiny crack, a long, slender hand suddenly descended from above and pressed it back down without any room for argument.

Startled, Shi Luyu quickly withdrew her hand, her attention immediately drawn to his hand.

That hand had distinct knuckles, slender fingers, and skin so white it was almost cold. The prominent veins on the back of the hand exuded masculine charm, as beautiful as a jade carving.

"Put it in the back seat," the man said at this moment.

Without a word, he grabbed her bag, tossed it into the back seat with one hand, and turned to walk toward the driver's seat.

Shi Luyu was stunned for a moment, but quickly came to her senses. She then said "Oh" and obediently got into the car.

As soon as the car door closed, she faintly smelled a faint scent of blood. Not quite sure, she unconsciously tilted her head to sniff again. Just as she was about to ask something, Xu Yuanjia beside her had already rolled down the car window.

The hot wind blew in from outside, instantly dispelling the smell and leaving only the stuffy, humid air.

Shi Luyu wrinkled her nose, thinking it was just her imagination, and didn't take it to heart.

Xu Yuanjia rested one hand on the steering wheel, not starting the car immediately, his eyes cold.

He was thinking about how to deal with her.

They tied her up and locked her in the warehouse behind the dock, to play some games with her...

Or maybe we should just get rid of it.

"Brother Jiajia, why are your hands dirty?" At this moment, the girl's bright and gentle voice rang out.

Again, without his permission, the girl acted as if she knew him intimately and directly took his hand that was resting on the steering wheel.

She then pulled a wet wipe from her bag and naturally wiped the bloodstains from his fingertips, her movements delicate and almost meticulous.

She clearly didn't take the red stain seriously, assuming it was just some kind of paint. How naive.

Xu Yuanjia lazily tilted his face, his gaze fixed on her with scrutiny.

The girl had jet-black, silky hair and fair, smooth skin, giving her an overall radiant, water-like glow. Her eyes, in particular, were pure and clear, holding all her thoughts perfectly; they were so easy to understand.

Such a clean thing has the willpower to crawl out of a pile of dead bodies.

He's got a tough life.

"Brother Jiajia, your hands are so beautiful." The girl was very generous and didn't hold back her praise for him.

Shi Luyu was right; his hands were indeed beautiful. The finger bones were hard and slender, the nails were slightly thin and manicured into a rounded shape, and they were clean and neat.

Her hands were slender and long, with a unique feminine warmth and tenderness. When they touched his cold fingertips, they would cause a slight, electric-like stinging sensation.

Shi Luyu seemed to belatedly realize the subtle electric sensation she was experiencing. Her face flushed instantly, and she quickly curled her fingers to release Xu Yuanjia, blinking and stammering, "Brother, it's...it's all wiped clean..."

Xu Yuanjia didn't seem to care much, his gaze falling on the camera hanging around her neck. He asked, "Do you like taking pictures?"

Upon hearing this, the naive girl's attention was quickly diverted, and her eyes lit up:

"I really like it. When I was little, I always loved taking pictures of everything—my parents, the stones in the shop, everything. Later I thought, why not learn this?"

They even unwittingly revealed all their private information.

"I'm currently studying film and television, specifically digital imaging and visual storytelling. Actually, I also run my own account, filming things like daily life on the border, jade and jewelry, and vlogs."

At this point, she picked up her camera and turned to him, "Brother Jiajia, look."

Before Xu Yuanjia could speak, Shi Luyu had already brought the camera between the two of them, moved closer, and skillfully flipped through the photo album.

The photos scrolled by one by one: temples after the rain, golden pagodas, mountain roads, mist... Finally, Xu Yuanjia's gaze stopped on one of them.

She just casually took this picture by the tree-lined path.

The composition is beautiful, and the lighting is clean, but unfortunately, something that shouldn't have been there was captured at the rear of the Maybach.

A trail of blood seeped into the edge of the trunk.

After a long pause, Xu Yuanjia suddenly laughed, "Why do you always..."

He paused slightly, his voice low and tinged with a hint of sarcasm, before finishing his sentence, "So careless, huh?"

Reckless, impulsive, lacking in awareness of boundaries, and forgetful.

Shi Luyu didn't understand and subconsciously looked up at him.

Outside the half-lowered car window, the trees were lush and green, and sunlight filtered down in shimmering patches, dancing and casting shadows on the man's exceptionally handsome features.

His light brown pupils gave him a striking, mixed-race look, and his eyes held a cool, smiling gaze.

His face was so strikingly beautiful, like a masterpiece painting, it made people dizzy.

The innocent girl stared at him, unaware that the man silently reached under his seat and pulled out a gleaming dagger.
