Border Prisoner: The Mad Boss Seduces Her Every Night
Chapter 99 is his girlfriend.
As soon as the bell rang for the second period in the morning, everyone in the entire teaching building rushed to the windows.
A deep rumble rolled over the school gate, like the roar of an impatient beast. The matte blue Pagani's chassis was close to the ground, its scissor doors raised, like a giant metal bird about to take flight. Sunlight splattered on the paint, shattering into blinding flashes.
The car was parked downstairs in front of the teaching building.
Xu Yuanjia got out of the driver's seat, walked around the front of the car, opened the passenger door, bent down, and reached one hand inside.
Shi Luyu placed her hand in his palm and was led out by him. She lowered her head, her face buried in her drooping hair, her ears as red as boiled shrimp.
She wore a cream-colored cardigan and a light pink dress that reached just to her knees, revealing her fair calves. Standing next to the sports car, she resembled a pale flower cradled in blue velvet.
The stairs, the corridor railings, the classroom windows—all were packed with people. Cell phones were held high, flashes crackling and popping.
"Who is that?"
"Xu Yuanjia, don't you recognize him?"
"What about the girl next to him? Is she a photography major?"
"Shi Luyu, I heard, is his girlfriend."
"Girlfriend? Wasn't it rumored that Lin Wanqing was his fiancée?"
"Lin Wanqing hasn't been to class for a long time. I heard she injured her leg again and went back to China for treatment."
Amidst the whispers pouring in from all directions, Shi Luyu gripped Xu Yuanjia's fingers tightly, lowered her voice, and almost bit her lip as she said, "Brother, although it's just the two of us... but... could you please not be so conspicuous..."
Xu Yuanjia looked down at her, withdrew his hand and put his arm around her shoulder instead, placing his palm on her shoulder and slowly rubbing his thumb against the edge of her collarbone.
"No," he said, his tone matter-of-fact.
This is a question that doesn't need to be discussed for him.
He led her into the teaching building, and as they walked down the corridor, the crowd automatically parted to make way. Shi Luyu buried her face in his arm, not daring to look up.
She heard people behind her gasp, some whisper "they're a perfect match," and others sneer sourly.
Xu Yuanjia ignored her completely, walking at a leisurely pace until he escorted her to the classroom door before letting go of her hand.
"Your brother will pick you up at noon."
Shi Luyu nodded and turned to go into the classroom. He reached out and grabbed her wrist, pulling her back, and said, "What did you forget, sweetie?"
Seeing her confused look, he tapped his cheek as a reminder.
Shi Luyu hesitated, but when she heard the preparatory bell ring, she had no choice but to tiptoe and lean in to kiss him.
Unexpectedly, he moved even faster. Just as her lips were about to touch his face, the man turned his face slightly, allowing their lips to meet in a kiss.
"Good girl," he said after the kiss. Then he put his hands in his pockets, turned around, and left.
Shi Luyu stood at the classroom door, covering her mouth, her face flushed, too embarrassed to go in.
Her phone vibrated no less than thirty times throughout the morning.
The photography club's group chat exploded, with someone spamming the chat: "Shi Luyu! Is that Xu Yuanjia?! The car he drives is enough to buy three houses in Thailand!"
She didn't reply, placing her phone face down on the table and staring blankly at the blackboard. She couldn't focus on a single word on the blackboard; her mind was filled with images of him using his hand last night... and the frequent kisses of the past two days.
At 11:55 a.m., Shi Luyu came out of the classroom.
Xu Yuanjia's car was already waiting in the corridor, but it wasn't the Pagani from this morning.
Xu Yuanjia leaned against a pillar at the entrance of the teaching building, next to a heavy motorcycle. Its orange-red body, black rims, and sharp lines made it resemble a cheetah crouching on the ground.
He even changed his clothes, wearing a dark brown short jacket, Doc Martens boots, and a helmet tucked under his arm, blending seamlessly with the motorcycle and making him impossible to look away from.
Shi Luyu ran up to him and whispered, "Brother, that car this morning was already outrageous enough, why did you change to an even more... even more..."
"More what?" He tilted his head, feigning ignorance.
"Even more flamboyant."
Xu Yuanjia smiled, put the helmet on her head, and gently scratched her chin with his fingers, as if petting a small pet. The strap tightened, and his fingertips brushed against her jawline.
Then he strode onto the motorcycle, started the engine, and a deep roar echoed along the entire school road. He turned his head to look at her and patted the back seat:
"Come on, sweetie. I'll take you to cause a ruckus in the streets."
Under the watchful eyes of the entire grade, Shi Luyu reluctantly climbed onto the back seat.
She hesitated, unsure where to grab, her hands hovering in mid-air. He then grasped her wrists, pulled her hands to his front, and wrapped them around his waist.
"Hold on tight." His voice came from ahead, half-hidden by the engine noise. "If you fall, your brother won't be responsible."
Shi Luyu pressed her face against his back, her fingers gripping the front of his jacket tightly. As the motorcycle drove out of the school gate, she heard a burst of whistling behind her and buried her face even deeper.
……
Dinner was at a place she'd never been before: the rooftop of an old building by the Chao Phraya River. There was only one table on the entire floor, its white tablecloth fluttering gently in the evening breeze.
A warm breeze rippled across the river, the night market in the distance looked beautiful, and the sunset on the horizon faded from orange-red to purple. A candle burned in the middle of the table, its flame flickering twice, then bounced back after being blown askew by the wind.
The menu has no text.
The first dish the waiter brought was roasted tomato soup, which was placed in front of Shi Luyu. Then came steak, grilled fish, and seafood rice, all served on plates, each one a dish she loved.
Across from her, Xu Yuanjia leaned back in his chair, his long legs crossed, watching the dishes being served in front of him without even lifting his eyelids.
Shi Luyu picked up a spoon and took a sip of soup. The rich tomato flavor melted in her mouth. She looked up at him and found that his gaze was on her face, with a subtle expression of waiting.
"Brother, why aren't you eating?" she asked, somewhat puzzled.
"It doesn't taste good if you don't feed it obediently," he said.
Here we go again. Shi Luyu had some understanding of his temperament; he was used to acting cute and charming.
She reluctantly scooped up a spoonful of soup, stretched her arm across the table, and brought it to his lips.
"What should we do if my brother can't reach it?" he said casually, drawing out the last syllable, his breath almost seductive.
Shi Luyu didn't dare look at his eyelashes, and pushed the spoon forward again, the edge of the spoon touching his lower lip: "Brother, be good, open your mouth."
Xu Yuanjia stared at her rosy face, slowly opened his mouth, took the spoon in, and rolled the soup into his mouth.
Seeing that she didn't dare to look him in the eye, he suddenly frowned and hissed.
"What's wrong?" Shi Luyu asked anxiously.
"It's hot." His voice was muffled, and his sexy, thin lips pouted slightly, like a child who had been burned.
Shi Luyu was stunned:
Was Jiajia's brother... ever this pretentious before?
It wasn't hot at all; he was just waiting for her to coax him.
She suppressed a laugh, scooped up some soup, blew on it, and then offered it to him. This time, she was smarter; when she brought the spoon to his lips, she supported it with her other hand to prevent the soup from dripping onto his clothes.
Xu Yuanjia opened his mouth and ate it, this time without complaining that it was hot.
She fed him spoonful by spoonful, first soup, then steak, then grilled fish. When she got to the seafood rice, Xu Yuanjia suddenly turned his head away from the spoon and gestured with his chin toward the plate in front of her.
"Mussels," he said.
Shi Luyu glanced down, picked up a piece of mussel, and brought it to his mouth. He ate it, then frowned.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"I don't eat shellfish," he said dismissively.
Why is he acting like a child? Shi Luyu had no choice but to pick up another shrimp and hold it to his mouth.
Xu Yuanjia ate it, then squinted his eyes in satisfaction.
By the time the waiter came to clear the plates, Shi Luyu's arms were already sore. She shook her wrist, glared at him—a soft, watery glare, utterly harmless:
"I can tell, my brother just doesn't want to do it himself."
Xu Yuanjia leaned back in his chair, a slow smile curving his lips. "Hmm, why do you see such an adorable expression on Guai Guai's face when you do it yourself?"
His voice was low, carrying a satisfied feeling of having eaten and drunk his fill, "Besides, it tastes better when fed obediently."
She's got the complete green tea rogue vibe.
After dinner, he drove her across half the city.
The car was parked in front of a newly built high-rise apartment building. When the security guard saw the car, he immediately ran over to open the door, bowing so deeply it looked like he was bowing.
Xu Yuanjia didn't look at him, but led Shi Luyu into the elevator and pressed the button for the top floor.
When the elevator doors opened, Shi Luyu was stunned.
There is only one unit on the entire floor. Pushing open the door, you enter a large, single-level apartment with floor-to-ceiling windows that stretch from one end to the other, offering a panoramic view of the city at night, with the lights of countless homes and the Chao Phraya River flowing through the city like a luminous ribbon.
The floor is light gray wood flooring, the walls are off-white, and there isn't much furniture, but each piece is exquisitely crafted like a work of art. There's a piano in the living room, its black lacquer so shiny it reflects your image.
"This is..." Shi Luyu walked in, her steps light, afraid of dirtying the floor.
"New house." Xu Yuanjia followed behind, tossed the car keys on the entryway table, and casually closed the door.
Shi Luyu stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, her fingers pressed against the glass, looking down at the city lights. She heard his footsteps approaching from behind, then his arm wrapped around her from behind, pulling her into his embrace, his chin resting on her shoulder.
"We'll be living together from now on." His voice came from behind her ear, low and with a matter-of-fact certainty.
Shi Luyu's heart skipped a beat. She turned around to face him, his arm still around her, her chest pressed against his.
"What...what do you mean we have to live together?" Her voice was weak.
Xu Yuanjia looked down at her, a slight smile curving his lips. His fingers moved from her waist to her lower back, pulling her closer to him.
"When we were little, we played house," he said softly, habitually deceiving her, "wasn't it always me playing the dad and you playing the mom?"
