High Martial Arts: A Cataclysmic Beast? I am the only Beast Tamer!

"Xia Houyi?"

The Empress murmured the name repeatedly, her brows furrowed slightly.

She had a very deep impression of this name.

He was once a brilliant and talented young man from Zixing.

The unique and powerful necromancer class.

The Empress even once regarded him as the hope for the future of humanity and cultivated him!

only……

Before the extinction crisis of the Purple Star Abyss riot arrived.

The boy, seeing no way forward, committed suicide in despair.

The Empress even sighed and lamented about it for a long time.

But now?

In this Purple Star Abyss, the dead necromancer boy has actually come back to life?

the other side.

The hunched-over, head-drooping city lord of the undead city seemed to have guessed the doubts in the empress's mind.

Before the Empress could ask, he took the initiative to explain respectfully:

"I met Xiahou Yi during the third cycle of reincarnation in Canglan City."

"At that time, it was Xiahou Yi who took the initiative to come to Canglan City."

"According to him—"

"Back in Zixing, after he committed suicide, he truly died."

"But like me, and like the millions of people in Canglan City, for some reason, he came back to life in the abyss."

"and--"

"Under the influence of this abyssal undead power, he even broke through his previous limitations. He could only command Venerable-level undead at most before, but now he can forcibly command Saint-level undead!"

"At the same time, he also obtained various scattered pieces of information from the memories of countless dead in this abyss."

"That is—"

"The Holy City was destroyed, the Purple Star was shattered, and this world today is nothing more than a special abyss formed when the Purple Star Canglan Domain fell into a spatial rift and was corrupted by the power of rules!"

Speaking of it.

The Lord of the Undead City paused slightly, looked at the Empress, and said with a solemn expression:

"At the time, I naturally refused to believe it."

"I firmly believe that His Majesty cannot be defeated, and the Purple Star cannot be destroyed!"

"but……"

"Xiahou Yi directly retrieved countless fragments of the memories of the dead, and even though I was unwilling to believe it, I had no choice but to accept this fact."

As he spoke, the Lord of the Undead City shook his head again.

"However, he certainly didn't expect that."

"Your Majesty, you have not truly perished; you are still alive!"

"As long as you live, there is still hope for Purple Star; Purple Star has not truly been completely wiped out!"

Upon hearing this, the Empress remained silent.

She is still alive.

but……

It was just a wisp of a remnant soul with absolutely no power!

Don't be fooled by the fact that I just displayed the Empress's mark and scared away the countless undead beasts outside the city.

But in reality...

The Empress has now lost all her power, retaining only her god-like status.

even……

The Empress slightly turned her head, raised it, and looked with a majestic gaze at the void above.

In the dark.

She could feel it...

Beyond the abyss, there are gazes from mysterious beings!

That gaze was filled with covetousness and greed!

"Human demigods from Earth? The Twelve Sequences of the Dark Court?"

The Empress had a vague idea in her mind.

She was not surprised by this.

He was once a god-level powerhouse.

She was well aware of how terrifyingly tempting her divine-level soul essence was to a demigod!

Any demigod powerhouse, as long as they devour their own origin, can take another big step beyond the pinnacle of martial arts!

even……

It's not impossible to reach the god level through ultimate sublimation!

Thinking about this...

The Empress's gaze fell upon Lu Yu, who was standing to the side.

From the moment she appeared, she had anticipated the current situation.

And the same.

at that moment.

She had already made a very important decision in her heart!

A common man is innocent, but possessing a treasure is a crime!

Qin Shiyao, we can't protect her!

She might even be caught in a series of crises because of him.

And Lu Yu...

He's different!

He was powerful enough, and he also had that God of War as his backing.

Perhaps the only way to break this deadlock is for Lu Yu to form a contract with him!

Whether for her, Qin Shiyao, Lu Yu, or Zi Xing, this might be the best choice.

On the other side...

Lu Yu was unaware of this.

Empress Zixing has already planned to make this her contracted pet.

At this moment, he was pondering the words of the Lord of the Undead City.

After thinking for a moment, he couldn't help but ask with some doubt:

"Can……"

"Judging from your tone just now, it seemed you had a lot of opinions about Xiahou Yi?"

"Why is that?"

Upon hearing this, the Lord of the Undead City looked at the Empress with a questioning gaze.

The Empress gently nodded her chin.

then.

The lord of the undead city had just gritted his teeth and uttered two words in a low voice:

"betray!"

"Um?"

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu raised an eyebrow slightly.

The Lord of the Undead City took a deep breath, and then a deep anger appeared on his skeletal face:

"He betrayed His Majesty, he betrayed Zi Xing!"

"Those hordes of undead beasts outside Canglan City were sent by him!"

"He was also involved in this curse of reincarnation!"

"To extract more necromantic power from the abyss, he was even capable of ruthlessly killing his own former human brethren!"

"Not only that, he also advised me to abandon Canglan City and submit to him!"

"No, absolutely not!"

"I, Yan Zhong, have been ordered by His Majesty to guard Canglan City. Whether in life or in death, I will only be loyal to His Majesty!"

"What merit or ability does Xiahou Yi possess to deserve the loyalty of me and the tens of millions of people in Canglan City?"

After saying that,

Lu Yu was stunned.

The Empress's beautiful eyes narrowed slightly.

"Why is he acquiring more necromantic power?"

The Empress spoke up and asked a question.

The words fell.

The Lord of the Undead City was slightly taken aback.

He had never thought about this question.

"this……"

Xiahou Yi has never explained the reason to me.

"At that time, he tried to persuade his subordinates to surrender, but they refused, so we fought a great battle."

"final……"

"My subordinates were no match for him, and Canglan City was quickly breached in that cycle of reincarnation, with countless civilians being slaughtered."

"After that, Xiahou Yi never came to Canglan City again."

"They just keep sending out countless hordes of undead beasts and skeletal behemoths to besiege Canglan City!"

Speaking of it.

The Lord of the Undead City seemed to suddenly remember something.

His skeletal body jolted violently.

"not good!"

"Your Majesty, you previously manifested your aura in Canglan City..."

"Those skeletal behemoths outside the city have sensed it too!"

"And Xiahou Yi, as the mastermind behind these countless undead, must also know that you have appeared in Canglan City!"

boom--

Rumble—!

As the saying goes, a single word can become a prophecy.

The Lord of the Undead City had barely finished speaking.

Outside Canglan City.

The once desolate wilderness.

A series of violent tremors came from afar!

The earth was trembling.

Countless spirits, both in the heavens and on the earth, surged forth in an overwhelming manner!

thump—

dong dong——!

One after another, colossal skeletal beasts, each thousands of meters tall, descended outside Canglan City!
