High Martial Arts: A Cataclysmic Beast? I am the only Beast Tamer!

"want……"

"I want more..."

Inside the Beast Taming Space.

In front of Lu Yu.

The Empress's eyebrows furrowed tightly, and she uttered painful pleas and low cries.

and.

Her body, which had originally been illusory, had become much more solid.

At this moment, it began to flicker and fluctuate like static on a television screen.

She seemed to be standing there.

And it seems...

She doesn't exist at all.

It seems to be constantly switching between existence and non-existence!

"What's going on?"

Now it's that time.

Even if Lu Yu was slow to react, he would have realized it by now.

Her previous act of monopolizing and absorbing all the power of the beasts was clearly caused by the Empress losing control.

And now?

When the Empress said "more," she probably meant she needed more beast-taming power.

Within the space.

The Empress's face showed increasing pain.

Her pleas even began to sound weak and feeble.

call--

Seeing this scene.

Lu Yu let out a long breath and no longer hesitated.

A thought suddenly occurred to him.

Swah——

A fist-sized, crystal-clear beast core appeared in his hand.

This is……

The only demigod-level behemoth core that the Martial God gave to Lu Yu before!

This is also the only resource that Lu Yu currently has left.

Everything else, including source crystals, king-level, venerable-level, and even saint-level beast cores, has just been converted.

"My lord..."

The Empress was still calling out softly.

Lu Yu could even see it.

Her delicate body was trembling incessantly, as if she were enduring unimaginable pain.

"go--"

This moment.

Lu Yu also made up his mind completely and gritted his teeth.

He tossed the only demigod-level behemoth core in his hand into the air.

"Activate your talent—"

"Transform!"

Lu Yu called out softly.

then.

hum-

buzz-

This incredibly sturdy demigod beast core, which even a god-level being couldn't destroy, shattered instantly.

wow——

Splash—

An unimaginable amount of terrifying energy poured out from it.

But only for a moment.

Under the influence of a certain rule, all this energy was transformed into the purest and most concentrated beast-taming power.

then.

Just as Lu Yu had guessed.

The moment this massive amount of beast-taming power appeared...

The blooming violet behind the Empress immediately began to sway.

then.

Swah——

The endless power of beast taming was instantly absorbed by the Empress and vanished completely!

This moment.

Even Lu Yu.

Seeing this scene, I felt a pang of heartache.

So many resources, so much beast-taming power...

Quesanti and the others didn't absorb a single drop.

The Empress ruined everything!

"I just hope the rewards will be commensurate with the effort..."

Lu Yu looked at the Empress, whose eyes were still tightly closed, but whose pained expression was slowly fading, and sighed softly.

"My Lord~"

"Meow~"

the other side.

Although the pets, including Quesanti, felt disappointed because their beast-taming power was taken away and they lost the opportunity to improve, they were still disappointed.

but……

They sensed Lu Yu's emotions.

At this moment, they all gathered around Lu Yu, pretending not to be sad at all.

"My lord——"

"Whoever absorbs this power, as long as it helps you, it's worthwhile!"

The kind-hearted, big Caesar even took the initiative to speak up and say this.

And Lu Yu.

Hearing this, he was both amused and exasperated.

But in the end.

After a moment of silence, Lu Yu continued to look at the pet beasts in front of him.

He spoke softly:

"Three days from now, all the Saint-level beast cores obtained from the Battle of the Abyss will be yours."

"Not a single one will be given to Qinghan."

"If she doesn't behave, I'll spank her!"

This statement came out.

Quesanti and the other pet beasts all wore excited and expectant smiles.

The disappointment I felt just now vanished completely at this moment.

Not far away.

For some reason, a few blushes appeared on the Empress's stunningly beautiful face...

click -

Kaka-

I don't know how much time has passed.

Until Lu Yu felt somewhat mentally exhausted.

The violets behind the Empress suddenly burst forth with an extremely dazzling brilliance.

click -

Kaka-

In the void.

A crisp, cracking sound rang out.

then.

Lu Yu and his several pet beasts were completely stunned.

An even more mysterious scene unfolded!

On the Empress's body...

Golden shackles suddenly appeared!

click -

Kaka-

The sound of shattering came from these shackles!

To be precise.

It was one of the six shackles in total, and the sound of it cracking was heard.

On that gleaming golden shackle.

You can still vaguely see the cracks spreading outwards.

"This is……"

Lu Yu stared at this scene, slightly lost in thought.

And then...

click -

Click—

As the last two incredibly crisp sounds rang out.

The shackles binding the Empress have shattered completely!

And it was at this very moment.

Before Lu Yu's eyes.

Or.

Within the entire Beast Taming Space.

Everything turned into a golden hue!

And the Empress.

Her figure hovered in mid-air, shining brightly like a blazing sun in this golden world!

On the Empress's body.

It also emitted a mysterious and noble golden light in all directions!

"Meow?"

Quesanti, who had been lying on the ground, suddenly widened his bright eyes.

It discovered...

Under this golden light, it seemed that his cultivation level was rapidly improving.

In fact.

It's not just Quesanti.

All of Lu Yu's pet beasts—Caesar, the Nine-Turn Sacred Heavenly Dragon, and even Xiao Meng, who couldn't improve her realm through cultivation and absorbing beast-taming power—were rapidly gaining strength!

Slightly——

giggle-

And it's not just pets.

Even Lu Yu himself was making popping sounds from his body.

Lu Yu could sense it...

My physical strength and mental strength are constantly improving!

Double, triple, triple...

It only took a few breaths.

Lu Yu was horrified to discover this.

His physical strength increased by nearly ten times compared to before!

not only that.

His mental strength was also increasing rapidly!

To know.

Lu Yu's spiritual power was actually very weak, almost negligible.

All his mental energy comes from sharing Xiaomeng.

But at the moment.

Lu Yu could clearly sense it.

The spiritual energy in his mind, which was originally like a small pond, was now expanding rapidly, from a pond to a lake, and from a lake to an ocean...

On the other side...

Quesanti, who had just broken through to the Venerable level not long ago, has somehow expanded to a size of more than 5,000 meters!

5,000 meters...

This is the size that only a Saint-level behemoth can possess!

Roar--

roar-

Within the space.

Under the golden light, the Nine Revolutions Holy Heavenly Dragons roared to the sky in unison.

Their size remains the same as before, at 10,000 meters.

but……

Their aura was many times stronger than before!

Even Xiao Meng, who was originally a king-level player.

At this moment, their aura has reached the peak of the Venerable level, only one step away from the Saintly Radiance level...

now.

Inside the Beast Taming Space, which is inaccessible to outsiders.

Both Lu Yu and his pet beasts are undergoing tremendous changes and improvements!

……

……

Time flies.

In the blink of an eye.

Three days have passed.

Inside the secluded room.

Lu Yu, whose eyes had been tightly closed, suddenly twitched his eyelids.

next moment.

Swah——

Lu Yu opened his eyes.

A glint of divine light seemed to flash in his eyes.

click -

Kaka-

Lu Yu subconsciously clenched his fist.

The bones then made a series of crisp sounds.

It's no exaggeration to say that...

Even without sharing the strength of any pet beast, Lu Yu now could kill ten bulls with a single punch using only his physical strength!

call--

After warming up your body a little and getting used to the strength, move around a bit.

Lu Yu finally stood up.

He exhaled a long breath.

A thought crossed my mind.

The personal information panel was brought up.

[Name: Lu Yu!]

[Occupation: Beastmaster!]

[Rank: Ninth Rank!]

……

Lu Yu's personal strength panel shows no change.

The improvement in physical strength and mental power was not reflected on the panel.

but……

As the gaze moves downwards.

As the information about the contracted beast appeared line by line.

Even Lu Yu.

At this moment, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement!

Saintly Glory level!

……

as well as.

Apart from the four Saint-level pets.

The most unique character on the panel is Empress Mu Qinghan—

[Name: Mu Qinghan!]

【Race:???】

Rank: ???

[Shackles: 4/9]

【talent:???】

[Divine Skill: The Power of All Beings' Wishes, Eternal Annihilation, ???]

[Special Status]

[The divine rebirth is underway, but a crucial unknown energy is missing!]

to be frank.

Even Lu Yu was stunned when he saw the series of question marks on the Empress's panel.

especially!

Lu Yu tolerated everything else that was just a question mark.

The "Race" column also has a question mark, which is really outrageous!

So the Empress isn't considered human anymore?

Lu Yu couldn't understand it!

and.

At this moment, they are inside the Beast Taming Space.

Unlike the other pets, which were lively and energetic, this one was different.

Since the Empress lost control and absorbed the power of the beast three days ago, one of the shackles on her body has been broken.

Until this moment.

She remained suspended in mid-air with her eyes closed.

Even Lu Yu, as its master, was unable to awaken it.

It looks like...

The empress was in a very unusual coma.

Or as indicated on the panel.

Because of the crucial unknown energy, the Empress was unable to awaken!

obviously.

This is bad news for Lu Yu, who is about to participate in the Battle of the Abyss.

but……

The good news is.

Lu Yu discovered that he seemed to be able to share the Empress's strength and realm.

And the moment this thought popped into his mind.

hum-

buzz-

The aura of a demigod-level martial arts expert emanated directly from Lu Yu's body!

This time...

Lu Yu was completely stumped...

Inside the secluded room.

A silence.

A good while passed.

Lu Yu finally calmed down his turbulent emotions.

It looks like...

The Empress's recent advancement seems a bit terrifying?

Not only did they directly reduce him to demigod level, but they also...

It's even in the process of recovery!

If we wait until we find that so-called "key unknown energy"...

Lu Yu even had doubts.

When the Empress wakes up next time, she will probably have already regained the power and strength of her former divine skills.

"It's not a big problem."

"In the Battle of the Abyss, we might not even need to use this demigod-level trump card against a group of Saint-level beings."

Lu Yu shook his head and muttered to himself.

nowadays.

He possesses a total of five Saint-level pet beasts!

This combat power...

Anyway, Lu Yu himself didn't really have a concept of it.

It seems we'll only know the true extent of the problem when we reach the Battle of the Abyss and test our skills on a few unlucky souls.

"in addition……"

Lu Yu pondered for a moment, then continued to look down.

finally.

It landed at the very bottom of the information panel.

[Beast Taming Power Charge: 100%!]

[Prerequisites for advancing to King level: Not yet completed!]

Charging the power of beast taming.

It had been at full capacity for some time now.

What's holding Lu Yu back right now are one prerequisite after another!

Lu Yu had not met almost any of these conditions.

But now?

This is after the pet beasts have been greatly improved.

seem……

It's very close!

【Prerequisites——】

[1. Contract with at least six pet beasts (including soul beasts)!]

Current progress: 5/6

2. Train at least one Saint-level pet!

Current progress: 5/1

[3. Train at least four Venerable-level pet beasts!]

Current progress: 5/4

At first glance.

Two of the conditions were not only met, but exceeded!

nowadays.

The only thing that stopped Lu Yu was the first condition, which seemed the simplest.

You must contract at least six pet beasts!

Now, including Empress Mu Qinghan, Lu Yu has a total of five pet beasts.

No more, no less, exactly one short...

And in fact.

As long as Lu Yu is willing.

Not to mention King-level or Venerable-level beasts, even Saint-level behemoths can be captured and forcibly contracted (although the success rate is not high)!

but……

As time went on, Lu Yu's requirements, or rather his standards, for his pets became increasingly higher.

There is one contract slot per tier, and Lu Yu, who is currently at tier nine, only has nine in total.

It's unclear whether the number of contract slots will increase after reaching the King rank.

But even if it increases, it probably won't be by much.

So.

In Lu Yu's eyes, contract slots are extremely precious!

Any beast that isn't monstrous enough or doesn't have a powerful enough background isn't qualified to be Lu Yu's pet!

Thinking about this...

The scene he had witnessed before involuntarily resurfaced in Lu Yu's mind.

At the bottom of the black ocean, a giant egg lies silently.

as well as……

Lu Yu could vaguely sense a feeling of joy emanating from that giant egg.

"It looks like..."

"That giant egg seems to have a special connection with my sixth contract slot?"

Lu Yu muttered to himself.

My interest in this battle in the abyss grew even stronger.

This battle in the abyss...

In Lu Yu's plan, it was a hunt!

All the Saint-level behemoths are his prey!

If we were talking about before...

Lu Yu didn't have enough confidence to say that.

Now...

With all his pets at the Saintly Glory level, a demigod-level empress as a trump card, and even his 'Return to One' talent fully cooled down, Lu Yu only had one thing to say:

"I'm invincible in spiciness!"
