A Guide to Raising a Little Human [Vampire Clan]

Chu Lin's hands trembled slightly, and a tremendous sense of dizziness hit him, almost making him lose his balance.

How could it be Alpha?

It can't be real... How could it be...?

But the truth was so blatantly presented before him that he couldn't escape it.

Whether Alpha intended to care for or abuse this human, he seemed unable to accept it.

Finally, after a period of standoff, Chu Lin mustered his courage and asked in an almost choked voice, "Could you explain...?"

Alpha was still staring at Chu Lin's face, even unsure if it was a hallucination, until the voice came out, at which point she said in a flustered manner:

"It's not what you think. I don't know why this human is here. I was going to send him back..."

But for every step Alpha took forward, Chu Lin took a step back, never daring to lower his gun.

Alpha was genuinely afraid that Chu Lin, who had finally returned, would be disappointed in him because of this inexplicable misunderstanding.

"It's true, you can ask him."

Chu Lin then looked at the blond human and asked in human language, "Did he try to bully you just now?"

The blond human paused for a moment upon hearing Chu Lin's words before replying in human language, "It was other vampires who brought me here. He didn't intend to sleep with me; he wanted to get rid of me..."

Alpha stood to the side. He couldn't understand the string of gibberish, but he could only pin his hopes on the fact that this human wouldn't make things up.

The blond human's voice trailed off: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Are you his partner? Don't misunderstand, I haven't been a mistress yet..."

Upon hearing this, Chu Lin couldn't help but burst into tears, tears streaming down her reddened eyes.

Alpha: "!!!"

The blond human was so frightened when he saw Alpha turn around and glare at him that he didn't dare to breathe.

Chu Lin knew she looked embarrassing, but she still couldn't help crying.

He had cried like this every day before when he thought of Alpha, but never this heartbroken.

He is no longer Alpha's partner.

Seven years have passed; even if you still like someone a lot, you'd probably be completely disappointed by now.

Chu Lin had considered coming to find Alpha, but he was afraid. He was afraid that once he came, he wouldn't be able to leave, afraid of betraying his own kind, and afraid that Alpha would do something even more extreme.

Therefore, he only dared to write a letter to Alpha occasionally.

The address is anonymous, posing no risk of signal leakage or tracking, and of course, there will be no reply.

Gradually, the letters became shorter and shorter, and they seemed to have less and less to say. Even Chu Lin himself felt that they had indeed broken up.

But why does he still feel so sad after hearing this question...?

"Xiao Lin..."

Alpha had somehow appeared in front of him, grasped his gun-wielding hand, and pressed the muzzle against his own chest.

Alpha finally pulled Chu Lin into his arms, placing one hand behind his head and pressing him against his chest as if to completely envelop him.

Because the pressure was too great, Chu Lin felt as if he was being strangled and couldn't breathe. He tried to struggle, but Alpha pleaded in a pleading tone:

"I miss you so much, I really miss you... Thank you for coming to see me."

"Could you spend a little more time with me, even just a day or half a day...please? I beg you..."

Chu Lin felt a pang of sadness upon hearing this: "I have a mission this time, and I need to take him away as soon as possible..."

Alpha's body tensed slightly, but he still said softly, "Yes, I understand."

"I'll wait until this is over..."

Chu Lin was about to say that he would have a vacation after the mission was over when he was interrupted by a sudden knock on the door.

A few rapid "thump-thump" sounds.

Alpha stepped back to create some distance, but Chu Lin suddenly remembered something: "Wait, I'll go open the door..."

Alpha: "I'll go. Wouldn't it be bad if the other vampires saw you?"

Chu Lin grabbed Alpha's arm: "It's okay, I'll go."

Alpha suddenly realized a problem.

"This floor requires special access, right? How did you get up here?"

Chu Lin didn't dare to answer, and instead changed the subject, saying, "You don't need to worry about that. I'll go open the door. You stay here and don't move, and don't move even if you hear any noise."

Seeing Alpha's somewhat stunned expression, Chu Lin quickly ran outside, closing the bedroom door behind him.

Chu Lin opened the door a crack.

"Honey...you scared me to death! How did you end up in the wrong room?"

Chu Lin's eyelids twitched involuntarily when he heard this address.

It really was Heathcliff.

Chu Lin feigned composure: "Yes, I accidentally went to the wrong place and just happened to run into a friend..."

Heathlete interrupted, "Wait, why are your eyes so red? Have you been crying?"

Chu Lin said somewhat flusteredly, "No, you're mistaken, he's drunk."

Seeing his reaction, Heathlete became even more certain that something was wrong: "Damn it! Get out of the way, let me see which damned vampire dares to bully you!"

Chu Lin blocked the entrance with his body: "Shh, keep your voice down, it's not what you think."

Heathlete, however, interpreted this scene as forbearance and maturity, and said with even more heartache, "It's okay, you don't need to worry about causing me trouble, I'll help you get revenge."

"Eh!!!"

Heathlete just forced her way in.

Damn! How can this guy be so strong?! Didn't he just drink a cow's worth of sleeping pills?

Chu Lin grabbed Heathlete's arm, intending to try and change the subject: "Really, it's not necessary. Let's go back first..."

"Go back where?"

Chu Lin looked up and saw Alpha walking out of the bedroom.

In an instant, only the word "doomed" remained in Chu Lin's mind.

But then some guy had to add fuel to the fire.

Heathlete chuckled dismissively. "Ha, Mr. Alpha, I don't understand. It's Sevier's fault for going to the wrong room, but isn't it your fault for making him cry?"

Alpha didn't rush to explain, but instead asked, "What is your relationship?"

Chu Lin seemed quite anxious: "We just met..."

Heathlete grabbed Chu Lin's shoulder and said provocatively, "She's my wife, got a problem with that?"
