Douluo Amon: I am the Heavenly Venerable of the Dragon King.

Chapter 109 The Tyrant

When Nan Fusheng looked at the soul guidance screen, he saw that as the ghost bear ate, red fur began to grow on the ghost tiger's limbs.

The Ghost Tiger was entirely black, and the Ghost Bear, which inherited its limbs, should also have had a completely black lower body. However, at this moment, its black fur began to show some red stains, turning it into a dark red.

What surprised Nan Fusheng even more was that as the ghost bear ate, sparks could be seen spewing from its large mouth on its belly from time to time.

Suddenly, the screen changed.

Inside the cave, in the blood lake, as the ghost bear ate, the blood in the lake inexplicably began to boil again, with one blood bubble after another splashing up.

"Whoosh..."

Another pillar of blood shot into the sky, within which a colossal figure was faintly visible. As the pillar of blood fell, the creature within revealed its form.

It was a creature that was entirely black and resembled an ant. Its enormous abdomen took up half of its body, but even with such a huge abdomen, this creature was still able to stand upright.

Its eight legs are more like the spears of a spider than an ant's, and the two spears at the top are shaped like a mantis's sickle. Several tentacles also roam along its back.

If you look closely, you'll find that they aren't tentacles at all, but rather strange creatures that look like dragon heads.

In the blood lake, two terrifying creatures were staring at each other from a distance. Compared to the Ghost Bear's ten-meter height, the giant beast in front of them was actually fifteen meters tall, making even the Ghost Bear much shorter than it.

The tentacles resembling a dragon's head flew out from behind the behemoth, tearing off a large chunk of flesh from the earth fire dragon. Then, those tentacle-like things actually began to eat it.

After the tentacles devoured the flesh and blood of the Earthfire Dragon, they slowly flew back behind the giant beast. Then, its massive body began to slowly sink into the blood lake, as if its appearance had been solely for the purpose of eating the Earthfire Dragon's flesh.

The Ghost Bear made no move from beginning to end. Whether it was when the giant beast appeared or when it tore into the flesh of the Earth Fire Dragon and sank into the Blood Lake, the Ghost Bear just watched silently.

When the behemoth sank completely into the blood lake, the Ghost Bear continued to devour the remaining body parts of the Earthfire Dragon, as if nothing had happened.

……

"What is this soul beast?" Nan Fusheng looked at Qian Gu Bubai.

"It's Nan Fusheng!" Qian Gu Bubai replied with a smile.

"Of course I know that, I just want to ask about the specifics of his situation."

The invincible warrior wanted to keep everyone in suspense, but when he saw Nan Fusheng's slightly furrowed brow, he abandoned his suicidal idea and immediately explained...

"As you know, the Spirit Pagoda has conducted similar experiments with Chimeras to create Soul Beasts. In fact, they used to spend a vast amount of Soul Spirits, Soul Beasts, and immeasurable amounts of money and resources."

They attempted to artificially create soul beasts, and succeeded; artificial soul spirits were successfully created.

"But soon, the higher-ups at the Spirit Pagoda were no longer satisfied with creating those weak spirits. They wanted to artificially create a powerful spirit with the abilities of various super spirit beasts."

To this end, the higher-ups of the Spirit Pagoda at the time went on a frenzied hunt for soul beasts, extracting their bloodlines in an attempt to create that soul spirit, even going so far as to target the two Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bears left behind by Huo Yuhao.

"Unfortunately, they failed in the end. Not to mention creating a powerful soul spirit with the bloodlines of various super soul beasts, they didn't even fully understand the bloodlines of super soul beasts."

Each time a spirit was just formed, it would inexplicably collapse. The few that barely survived were at most only slightly stronger than ordinary spirit beasts. Ultimately, the Spirit Pagoda couldn't withstand such attrition and abandoned this plan, instead focusing on the lifespan of artificial spirits.

"Although we successfully created the 'Chimera Soul Beast,' it was by borrowing the power of 'mistake' and 'fooling.' Even though this kind of soul beast is at the hundred-year level, because it is a hybrid, the difficulty of absorbing it is no less than that of a ten-thousand-year soul spirit."

"Therefore, before creating this kind of soul beast, we must first select a host, and then parasitize it, using the senses of the clone to stabilize the body structure of this soul beast. At the same time, because it is a clone, the absorption difficulty is almost zero."

Looking at the invincible Qian Gu who was talking so frankly, Nan Fusheng couldn't help but want to punch him. Damn it, get to the point!

Fortunately, the Undefeated One had some sense and noticed Nan Fusheng's impatience. He jumped straight to the point and said, "Let's name that Nan Fusheng from before: Violent Worm."

"It evolved from a massive queen ant. We initially started raising it to see if we could mass produce more troops, but things went awry as we went along with it."

"You gave us a total of three Time Worms to cultivate the Chimera Soul Beasts. One was given to the Dark Gold Bear, one to the Queen Ant, and one to the Human-Faced Demon Spider."

"As a result, the Dark Gold Bear turned into a Ghost Bear. And those two idiots, the Human-Faced Demon Spider and the Thousand-Pound Ant Queen, for some reason, one of them said something like, 'Mere food, you'd better obediently mass-produce troops for me and use them as food!'"

One said, "It's just a matter of bloodline suppression. I'll show you what it means to 'never underestimate a young man's potential, for my fate is in my own hands, not in the heavens'," and then these two idiots started fighting.

Finally, the two merged together. It wasn't like this at first, but after devouring several soul beasts, it turned into this grotesque shape. However, overall, it's still clearly an insect, so we named it: the Tyrant Worm.

Seeing Nan Fusheng's face darken, a staff member added, "You know what, even though those two have merged into one, this soul beast has completely changed."

The tentacle-like things behind the Vicious Worm are also worms. If you are bitten by those worms, your soul power, life force, and other vital energy will be rapidly devoured.

"At the same time, it also perfectly inherits the characteristics of the Chimera Soul Beast. After devouring different life forms, the Tyrant Worm can obtain the abilities of the devoured life forms, and these abilities far exceed their original power."

However, that thing is too lazy to use it; it usually just uses its tentacles to kill its opponents. Moreover, this Tyrannical Worm also possesses the ability to fly, no less than that of ordinary flying soul beasts.

"This violent insect has only been cultivated for a little over nine hundred years, approaching a thousand years. Once it reaches a thousand years, its size should continue to increase dramatically."

According to everyone's estimation, as its cultivation level increases, the size of this Tyrannosaurus Rex should continue to grow, eventually reaching a size comparable to the Titan Snow Demon. An adult Titan Snow Demon typically exceeds fifty meters in height.
