Douluo Amon: I am the Heavenly Venerable of the Dragon King.

Chapter 152 The Spiritual Thread

"In a moment, you will enter a virtual space, similar to the Spirit Ascension Platform that I believe everyone has entered before. Now, everyone, please step back outside the white circle on the ground."

As Shen Yi instructed, all the students in Class 1 of Grade 1 stepped back, clearing the center of the circular hall.

Shen Yi walked to the wall to the side. No one knew how she operated it, but the pattern on the wall that looked like a soul guidance array lit up. Then, the ground cracked open, and one by one, egg-shaped spheres emerged and then cracked open.

Each oval-shaped sphere is 2.5 meters tall and approximately 1.2 meters in diameter. Inside, after being split open, is a cabin. It looks quite peculiar.

"Everyone, choose a seat at random. You will soon find yourself in a forest. The forest is limited in size, so you will easily encounter other people."

Those who wish to cooperate should sit in the closest simulator pods. You have three minutes to complete this. Once inside the simulator, fasten your seatbelts.

After listening to Shen Yi's words, Nan Fusheng casually chose a simulator and sat inside. The moment he fastened his seatbelt, the flap closed automatically, and darkness immediately enveloped him.

Before long, twinkling starlight began to illuminate the inside, giving the feeling of being in the night sky. Enveloped in gentle energy fluctuations, the egg-shaped simulator seemed to begin to rotate.

A wave of dizziness washed over him, but when he felt his feet firmly on the ground, Nan Fusheng quickly regained his senses.

What came into view was a dense jungle, seemingly in a large forest. Using his mental power, he sensed several presences very close to him.

Nan Fusheng didn't hide; instead, he swaggered through the forest. He wasn't particularly interested in the class monitor anyway, and with his current mental strength, anyone approaching him wouldn't escape his mental perception.

At least among the freshmen, no one could hide it from him.

And so, Nan Fusheng continued to walk through the forest, swaggering about, yet he saw hardly anyone trying to ambush him.

Suddenly, Nan Fusheng noticed that three auras were rushing straight toward his position without any attempt at concealment.

"Interesting, they've discovered me."

Nan Fusheng narrowed his eyes, but he had no intention of dodging. After all, this was just a virtual battle. Besides, his strength was not weak, even if it was just an avatar.

"Oh, there's only one person? Zheng Long, Zheng Hu, take care of him."

Soon, a clear female voice rang out, and three figures emerged from the bushes in front of Nan Fusheng: two men and one woman. The one who had just spoken was the girl in the middle.

The girl stood at the very front of the group, clearly indicating that she was in charge. Her pretty face shone, and her looks were not much less striking than Xu Xiaoyan's, but she appeared far more haughty.

What's most surprising, however, is the girl's hair color. She has short, dark green hair that reaches her shoulders, and her pupils are also dark green. A green snake is wrapped around her right arm, and her whole body exudes a dark aura.

"Yes, Miss."

The two male students following behind her were of medium build and average appearance. However, they looked exactly alike. Upon hearing the girl's words, the two boys quickly flashed out, their first spirit rings lighting up simultaneously, and their auras darkened accordingly.

Their faces simultaneously gained a layer of emerald green, and their bodies quickly prostrated themselves on the ground. They opened their mouths simultaneously in Nan Fusheng's direction, and two beams of green light shot straight towards him.

Seeing the two beams of green light before him, Nan Fusheng remained completely calm, using the portal's teleportation ability to engulf them. However, he did not choose to return the green light to the two individuals.

After all, Zheng Long and Zheng Hu are clearly poison-attribute soul masters. They must have a high resistance to their own poison, and if an attack is returned to them, they might even be able to absorb it back.

Seeing that their attack was easily neutralized by Nan Fusheng, the two brothers' expressions did not change at all, but they quickened their pace.

Zheng Long and Zheng Hu moved swiftly along the ground, rapidly approaching Nan Fusheng. Their spirit rings were subtly tinged with emerald green. Wherever they went, the ground turned scorched black, and the surrounding plants withered in fear.

"Hmph, hmph, you two actually dared to approach me. I must say, you're really brave."

Just as Zheng Long and Zheng Hu approached Nan Fusheng, preparing to launch an attack, they suddenly heard Nan Fusheng say these words.

Before they could even understand what those words meant, they felt their bodies growing heavier and heavier, stiffening and becoming sluggish. At the same time, their thoughts began to blur.

"Oh no, this is a trap!"

When the two realized there was a problem, they could hardly control their bodies anymore. Then, Zheng Long and Zheng Hu each raised one foot, and what could be seen was that a bright green thorn had grown out of their toes. The thorn looked completely transparent and very beautiful.

However, if you think about their martial spirits, the feeling isn't so pleasant. The next moment, the two of them kicked each other's necks at the same time.

"bump."

The Zheng brothers, Zheng Long and Zheng Hu, were kicked to the ground by their opponent. At the same time, a green light began to spread from their necks, clearly indicating that even with a poison martial soul, it was difficult to be immune to the toxins from the same martial soul.

However, even more deadly than the poison was the side kick the two delivered to each other's necks. Sure enough, before the poison could even begin to spread, the two vanished in a flash of light.

"You—" Zheng Yiran was stunned for a moment. From her perspective, she could only see the two brothers, Zheng Long and Zheng Hu, rushing towards each other. But as they approached Nan Fusheng, the two seemed to turn against each other and attacked each other, resulting in their mutual destruction.

But how could that be? Zheng Long and Zheng Hu are twins, and their relationship has always been harmonious. How could they suddenly become enemies? So no matter how you look at it, it must be the other side's doing.

"You're a spirit-type Soul Master!"

Zheng Qiaran's gaze immediately turned serious. This was a formidable enemy! As expected, none of those who could get into Shrek Academy were ordinary. The opponent's ability just now must have been similar to an illusion, which was why Zheng Long and Zheng Hu were able to kill each other.

"That's right." Nan Fusheng admitted without hesitation, after all, his third soul skill could indeed be described as a mental attack.

His soul skill was given to him by his third soul spirit: the Spirit Insect.

Third Soul Skill: Spirit Threads. Manipulates spiritual power, transforming it into threads to control others. Alternatively, it can erase the opponent's soul, turning them into a puppet that can still use the abilities they possessed in life.
