Douluo Amon: I am the Heavenly Venerable of the Dragon King.

Chapter 169 Lu Fa

"snort!"

Seeing that Lu Fa dared to charge at him without using his martial spirit, even the composed Long Chen couldn't help but snort coldly.

However, he didn't say much. Since his opponent dared to be so arrogant, he would teach him a lesson, the price of which would be that he would punch the opponent in the face a few times.

What's the point of a man being good-looking? Muscles are what really matter. Today, let Long Chen teach this guy a lesson and show this kid named Lu Fa what the "Way of Muscles" is all about!

The second soul ring on Long Chen's body flashed, and a loud dragon roar rang out.

Second Soul Skill: Dragon's Roar!

The rolling sound waves were almost tangible, and pale golden light appeared around his body, vaguely resembling a giant dragon. A powerful aura of light erupted fiercely.

It wasn't over yet. Long Chen stomped his left foot on the ground and soared into the sky. He spread his arms and his first soul ring flashed: Dragon Claw!

He didn't underestimate Lu Fa at all. Even if he was cursing him in his heart, he would definitely go all out once the battle started.

Moreover, this selection competition for the class monitor of Class 1 of the new students adopts a one-on-one advancement mode, so everyone can clearly see the fighting situation of others.

Long Chen had witnessed Lu Fa's previous battles, and each time, Lu Fa's opponents were forcefully defeated by his terrifying power. However, in Long Chen's view, that was simply because Lu Fa's opponents were too weak. He could do that too.

However, when he saw that Lu Fa chose to do the same thing as before when facing him, Long Chen admitted that he did feel annoyed for a moment.

But precisely because of this, he must suppress his opponent with absolute strength.

Therefore, at the same time as the first spirit ring shone, the fourth spirit ring also flashed with light. The simultaneous shimmering of two rings is a highly advanced technique for spirit masters to control their spirit rings.

Fourth Soul Skill: Dragon Power!

The Holy Dragon bloodline within him surged with powerful energy, coursing through his entire body. His dragon claws shone with dazzling golden light, and a layer of fine scales appeared on his body's surface. Although they were not yet true dragon scales, they were already taking shape.

He hoped to deliver a swift and decisive blow to his opponent, completely crushing Lu Fa. This would not only humiliate his opponent but also allow him to showcase his absolute strength in front of the entire class.

This way, when he becomes the class monitor, his classmates will respect him even more.

Just then, Long Chen suddenly felt a chill run down his spine—the feeling of being targeted by a top-tier predator.

How could that be? The Holy Light Dragon Martial Soul possesses true dragon bloodline; it's a genuine top-tier Martial Soul. What could possibly mistake it for food? It must be an illusion!

Long Chen forcibly suppressed the unease in his heart, circulated his soul power, and his body shone with golden light. Then, he pounced on Lu Fa from top to bottom.

From the audience, Lu Fa, who is 1.6 meters tall, looked like a child facing an adult when facing Long Chen, who had grown three inches taller by using a soul skill.

At that moment, the aura of the platinum behemoth on Lu Fa's body burst forth, and then he sprang up from the ground and rushed straight towards Long Chen in mid-air.

Their breaths would inevitably touch before their bodies did. In that instant, Long Chen felt an indescribable sense of fear suddenly arise in the deepest part of his heart.

How could this be? How could I feel fear? He was filled with confusion, yet everything was right before his eyes. He felt as if something was gripping his heart, and his entire body was trembling.

Before him, Lu Fa, who was also rising into the air, seemed to grow taller and taller, while he himself seemed to shrink in comparison, like a cat chasing a mouse.

The power of the Dragon Claw had diminished sharply. He gritted his teeth and urged his soul power, trying to control his fear.

However, things didn't go as planned. The aura emanating from Lu Fa was so intense that the Dragon Power collapsed. The Dragon Power was meant to enhance the aura of his Holy Light Dragon bloodline.

However, at this moment, the bloodline aura was directly suppressed, and even the effect of the soul skill was forced back. This is the difference between bloodlines.

Then he saw a giant white-gold claw, a Behemoth claw much larger than himself, and a terrifying aura that seemed to cut everything in two was wrapped around it. His Dragon Claw blocked it.

The moment the two made contact, his bloodline trembled violently again, and even his soul power poured out at that moment.

At the same time, Long Chen felt as if his dragon claw, which had come into contact with Lu Fa, was about to be severed by the other party, even though the other party had only caught his dragon claw by clenching his fist.

However, Long Chen felt that if the other party had the intention to close their hands, his dragon claw might be crushed like tofu.

The moment the two collided, they plummeted from the sky. However, the surrounding freshmen stared in disbelief as Lu Fa directly slammed Long Chen, the tenth-ranked genius on the list of young prodigies, down from the sky.

"boom--"

The Holy Dragon of Light descended, landing face-first.

Lufa slammed him to the ground. This was already the result of him showing as much mercy as possible; otherwise, with his evolved platinum Behemoth claws, a little force would probably have killed Long Chen's arm.

This is just a competition for class monitor, not a life-or-death battle. He doesn't need to go to extremes.

Even so, he still knocked out Long Chen, a Soul Master with a four-ring cultivation level and the top-tier Martial Soul, the Holy Light Dragon.

The entire place was completely silent. Even without a soundproof barrier, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Even Dang Hongchen, witnessing this scene, didn't know what to say.

Before the match started, everyone thought it would be a fierce battle!

After all, Lu Fa fought his way up, and no matter what kind of opponent he encountered, he always dealt with them quickly with terrifying power and speed, without even using his martial soul.

So when Lu Fa fought Long Chen, everyone watched them intently, wondering what Lu Fa's martial soul would be and who would win. And what was the result?

That's someone in the top ten of the young genius list! That's a Soul Master with the Holy Dragon Martial Soul!

One glance, just one glance.

In everyone's eyes, the moment the two collided, it was as if Long Chen had given up resisting, leaving himself completely vulnerable. Lu Fa grabbed his Dragon Claw with one hand and pressed his head down with the other, slamming him down from the sky and onto the ground.

This is a textbook example of aerial interception maneuvering! But this should be something that happens on a mech.

And most importantly, Lu Fa hadn't even used his Martial Soul yet! He simply relied on his physical strength to defeat Long Chen, who possessed a top-tier Beast Martial Soul and had reached the Soul Master level.

Is this really a human? Or is it some kind of ferocious beast that has transformed into a human and is here to scare these low-level players?
